This was a really cool experience and I've enjoyed this restaurant a lot compared to other restaurants in the market. The view and ambiance is very good, making it great for a nice dinner or romantic outing. The service was very attentive and prompt. The food was overall quite good, but this is on the high end of the price range and I wouldn't be coming back frequently with the price tag. The oysters and baguette were fabulous. I liked the mussels but we both felt the sauce was a bit intense. Both our entrees were good. I would highly recommend the scratch lemonade!

Just came back for the first time in over 30 years, and it feels like it hasn't changed at all although the view now has things that weren't there before such as the Great Wheel. But the room is still super cozy, and takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the market to a cute cafe in France. I started off with a cup of their saffron clam chowder which is actually more like a bisque. Either way, it's delicious and also a bit lighter than a traditional chowder with just a hint of saffron. I also ordered their duck confit, which is what I probably ordered last time. It was cooked perfectly and placed atop butternut squash purée and apples. It paired well with a glass of PNW pinot noir and is true comfort food. Service was delightful - staff who smiled and were happy, all on a sunny spring day for lunch. The place fills up quickly so it's better to make a reservation, just in case. It's a little pricey for lunch (no separate lunch menu), but well worth a visit for any meal. I'll definitely be back much sooner for visit number 3!

All I can say is WOW! I've been to Paris and the country side of france, and this restaurant really gives me similar vibes. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent. Hannah and Mike were both attentive and helpful with suggestions. We had the pate , bitter greens with beans, oysters, lamb rack, French onion soup, cheesecake and coffee. Mike made a great recommendation for the red wine to go with the lamb as well. Everything we had was noticeably good. There was nothing that was just OK. Overall, I'd definitely recomment this place. The ambience is reminiscent of france, the service is amazing, and the food is beyond good. I'm already planning who I'm going to bring here next.

Really small and super neat place. We stopped for a snack after roaming around the marketplaces and water front. Love the history of the location and enjoyed reading the back of the menu with the details. We ordered the bread which was so good as well as the French onion soup and clam chowder. It took a bit to get the soups as the place was busy and the kitchen is microscopic but they were both very tasty.

The place was crowded since it's at good location in the middle of the Market Place, you need to park somewhere else to walk to the restaurant. The service was courteous. We ordered Seasonal Mixed Greens, Liver Pâté, Saffron Clam Chowder, Daily Salmon Special, and "Maple Leaf" Duck Confi. The salad was fresh and fine, the liver pate was not soft neither creamy as good as we had in recent trip to europe, I am very disappointed even I knew its duck and rabbit liver. The clam chowder was good and creamy, Saffron added a bit flavor on it. The salmon is okay but hardly to compare real Alaska fresh salmon since we just got off board from Alaska trip. Finally, it's the famous French signature dish duck confit, I can give it 6 of 10, the outside was not crispy enough and inside is not tender, the purée and sauce was okay.

I finally droopped in for lunch with my friend after ignoring all of the little cafes and restaurants inside the actual market for years. I'm so glad I did! We shared the French Onion soup and OMG it was just as divine as everyone claimed it would be in the reviews. Next we shared the halibut and the pot du creme. Everything was prepared just right and presented beautifully. The service was very good. We felt seen by our server without being bothered at innopportune times. I am thinking about that soup now and feeling hungry - I know I'll be back there soon to quell that tummy growl! The reason this place didn't hit on all points was that the front door to the restaurant is awkwardly down the stairs and past the people dining on the patio, perched above the street below. It was awkward both getting to the entrance and again when we left. I get that they want to maximize table space but the outdoor patio just ended up looking messy/cramped, and not like a classy French bistro, transported in time/geography.

I've wanted to return to this intimate restaurant behind the hubbub of the fish mongers in Pike Place Market for many years. There are a few tables outside on a ledge before the entrance, but I was seated inside at a table next to a window facing Northwest, giving me a great view of the harbor. I opted for the warm beet salad ($19) and the duck confit (33). I left it to Nate (my server) to choose a white wine for the salad and a red to accompany the duck. He chose a 2024 Bordeaux Blanc from Chateau de Costis ($14) and a 2021 Pinot Noir from Coria Estates ($17, Willamette Valley). These are inexpensive wines, but they matched well with my dishes. The warm red and gold beets atop arugula, with candied walnuts, goat cheese from Cypress Grove, and a lemon-Dijon vinaigrette was perfect! The "Maple Leaf" Duck Confit was a crispy duck leg atop a butternut squash puree, with pieces of apple, some arugula and a cider gastrique was one of the best duck dishes in memory. Dessert was an espresso and an affogato. I realized when I returned home that Nate didn't charge me for the dessert ... Perhaps it was an oversight, but I'd like to think it was his way of apologizing for the lack of service initially. He mistakenly thought I was waiting for someone to join me, so I sat in the restaurant for quite a while initially. Whatever the case, I enjoyed my time at Place Pigalle and look forward to returning.

After looking at the reviews that this was a small place, we made a reservation and made our way over to Pike Place. When you get to the famous famous fish market, look for the red neon sign and walk down that narrow hallway until it ends- you can't miss it! Inside is just like your typical French bistro. A cozy space, with amazing views if you can get a table by the window. The service is amazing, our host and server were super friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal! We had bouillabaisse, scallops, and duck for our entrees. Everything was prepared well- the seafood was cooked just right and my niece really enjoyed her duck. The meal was on the higher end of our visit and it was well worth it! We look forward to coming back.

We found Place Pigalle on Yelp and we are happy to report we loved it. We were seated immediately upon arrival at a cozy table for two with an awesome view. We both ordered the Peach Pagalle which was refreshing and very tasty. I ordered the escargot and my hubby ordered the warm beet salad. The escargot was flavored with fennel which gave the butter a great taste when you dipped the bread in it. The bread is another story altogether. I only let my husband have two small pieces because once I tasted it I kept the rest to myself. The warm beet salad was bursting with flavor and the lemon-Dijon vinaigrette was perfect. We really enjoyed our lunch and Thurston, our server, was very attentive and friendly. We highly recommend Place Pigalle!

It was an outstanding dish. It was our very first and it was amazing :) Staff were very pleasant and accommodating . It's a very small restaurant yet overlooking the ocean, great view indeed :) If you are planning to eat here , they are located at Pike's market . I definitely recommend this restaurant. You guys try it:) We prolly go back ..

There was a complimentary amuse bouche, small root vegetable soup with a crunchy sunchoke chip- flavorful and nice start to the meal. From there we ordered: - hamachi crudo - light, fresh, flavorful - gambas - butterfly grilled and served on a yummy sauce that was a little salty in its own but good to dip bread in - salad - shareable portion and liked the fresh herbs - steak frites - came with a good portion of skirt steak and fries, but was surprised by the cook on the steak- it was well done. The meat was chewy although not tough so did still make a dent in the entree, and was pretty heavily doused in sauce. Fries were fine. Would likely try something else next time - creme brulee - solid execution, would order again - chocolate mousse- ok, was on the sweeter side Overall would return for drinks and apps if in the neighborhood.
