Finally got a chance to try out this coffee spot on my way up north. Not only is the cafe itself super inviting, staff is also wonderful and the coffee was great! Got myself an iced mocha latte where the barista delicately spread Ghirardelli dark chocolate sauce into the cup. It was perfect. Not too sweet. I also ordered a maple sausage biscuit and it was yummy as well. The biscuit was insanely good! Soft and buttery. This will be my go to coffee spot anytime we're planning a trip up 95. read more

Came here for a nice cup of coffee and that's exactly what I got!! The staff is amazing! They were busy but still attended to us and got us what we ordered fast. Ambiance is very cute. It's a great place to do work at or just chill with friends. Came here twice already when on vacation and ordered the iced lattes with oat milk and it tasted very nice. I stopped here on our drive south on i95 when I heard the dreaded "I have to go poopy" from my daughter. I showed up 10 minutes before closing time without knowing and the doors were locked and all of the employees were hiding out inside. I tried calling and knocking and no one answered but I could hear laughter inside. I was forced to have her use a portable potty we had in the car because I couldn't get anyone to let me inside. Don't advertise on the highway if you're unwilling to even stick to your own listed operating hours. read more

PJ's is not only my hometown coffee shop but it's my favorite from coast to coast. I was so surprised driving I 95 south when I noticed a sign for a PJ's in the low country. I parked my truck and had an enjoyable walk to a beautiful PJs. The folks working the counter were as friendly as ever and I had the king cake latte along with a breakfast sandwich. It was perfect. We are on the road home from our God daughter's medical school graduation in Charleston (with a stop planned in Brunswick at Reid's Apothecary) & needed a stretch, coffee refill, potty & a nibble...Welton's Tiny Bakeshop had a line around the building. What a remarkable story PJ's proprietor has, opening as the fear of COVID gripped the world, she's now in the process of selling to a loyal customer to perpetuate the landmark business she built literally from the ground up on the site (& using the 100+ year old timber) of an old SC home. She endured re-zoning, permitting, demolition, salvaging & construction to navigate a pandemic. Very nice little coffee shop. We were on a trip home from a wedding weekend and needed a little rest stop and pick me up! We ordered coffee, a cappuccino, the spinach turnover and egg bites. The service was great, with two very friendly baristas working. The restrooms were very clean as was the entire coffee shop. I would definitely stop at a PJ's again in the future. read more

Driving from Florida to North Carolina and stopped at this coffee shop. What a great choice! Extremely clean, very friendly and yummy food options. We got two sandwiches: the club sandwich and the Cuban sandwich. Both we served toasted, a nice hot meal during the road trip. The kids picked out the yogurt parfaits. We also got a blended iced coffee to enjoy. I appreciate the clean bathrooms with a diaper changing table. Pro tip - if you have kids - there is a fun playground 0.3 miles away (HAROLD TURPIN PARK). My family and I were on a road trip from Georgia and heading to South Carolina. We were looking for a stop near 95 for coffee and breakfast. We were so glad to found this place! Food (5/5): My husband got the biscuit, sausage, and egg sandwich, and I got the biscuit, bacon, and egg sandwich. Both sandwiches were warm and delicious. Our other two travel companions got the blueberry muffin and butter croissant. Both baked goods were heated and devoured quickly. My husband got the cold brew and said it hit his caffeine need. I got the ice coffee with caramel and cream and a delicious drink for a hot day. Environment (5/5): The interior and exterior were aesthetically pleasing. I especially thought the coffee bar/register area were artfully decorated. My gauge for how well an establishment is run is the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Bathrooms were very clean! Finally got a chance to retry Pjs coffee and I can say that the experience was wonderful. I walked in this time because I remembered looking thru the drive thru window last time thinking the inside was so pretty which it was, I walked around before I ordered the girl at the register told me there specials but then remembered that they were all sold out which we both laughed because it was so early in the morning that our brains weren't ready yet lol. I got a maple latte and a maple sausage biscuit my husband ordered the bacon egg and cheese biscuit and my son got a chocolate chip cookie that they warmed up for him. The sandwich were good the bacon on my husbands though was not very rubbery not crispy at all, but mine was good. They were out of cold brew and understaffed. 100 miles later we got off of Rt 95South and ended up here. This place was a breath of fresh air... and beans. From the exterior to the inside decor, it's all style and substance too! The staff were friendly , smiley and polite. Something said, "You should pull off and find this place." We did. So glad!! Literally from the driveway you can tell it's gonna be awesome. Then you step inside and O.M.G! So cool! On a drive from Savannah to Asheville, we noticed the PJ's logo on the highway exit sign and immediately looked it up. We're our eyes deceiving us?! Could it be true?!? Yes. It is thee PJ's Coffee, straight out of New Orleans. WE. WERE. PUMPED. Finding out there's a PJ's less than 30 minutes from our new home made our move to Savannah that much sweeter. Half of our family live in New Orleans, where, in non-covid times, we frequent about 3-4 times a year. These trips are always complete with multiple PJs runs for morning granitas. Unfortunately, on the drive to Asheville it was too late at night to be able to stop, as the shop was already closed. This just meant we got to be excited all weekend for our granita stop on the drive back home. And let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint. This PJ's lives true to everything amazing about the brand. Miss Linda greeted us so kindly in the drive-thru and presented us with our heavenly drinks. Collin got a large mocha granita; no whip, with drizzle. I got a small caramel granita; no whip, with drizzle. We also got two slices of King Cake, by no other than the New Orleans famous Joe Gambino's bakery. When we asked if she sells whole king cakes, she reassured us that "yes we do, but we only have 5 left and aren't going to be getting more!" Say no more, Miss Linda, and send us home with a whole cake! When we told her we were away for the weekend, and coming back home to decorate for Mardi Gras, she said "wait right here, I've got a surprise for ya!" Back she came, beads in hand, for us to decorate with! Can't wait to return to this awesome location! Be sure to check it out! I absolutely love PJ's Coffee, and every time I visit, it brings me back to my 20s and hitting up the local PJs weekly. I wish there were a PJs closer to Tampa! Today I had the opportunity to visit PJ's. My food and drink was truly amazing. The service was remarkable as well. After leaving the establishment, I realized I left my lights on and my motorcycle wouldn't start. Mrs Johnson new I had a problem and called her husband. She told me he was 4 miles away and would be there shortly. Upon his arrival he jumped out with a small power pack and jumped my battery.
