Why would I review the Waffle House? I don't review other chain restaurant's because what is there…read moreto say. They are mass produced food. But I have chosen to write this review because I want it on my resume. I am proud to have finally eaten at my FIRSt waffle house. Up north we do not get the joy of waffle houses. So what did I think? I would totally stop at another one. Quick breakfast and done just fine. Not the best waffle ever, but pretty darn fine. Also this particular location was super clean!

This trip the place was slow and we were seated quickly in the front. The younger waitress did an okay job. She was very friendly and the food was acceptable. I asked what she recommended and she said the Mexican Breakfast I believe is what it was called. It wasn't a fancy Tex Mex type of a meal, nothing with beaucoup seasoning flair etc but I appreciated the simple authenticity of the meal. It was simple and really hit the spot. Also it was something I never would have ordered if she hadn't recommended it. I would have to agree as another reviewer mentioned, they could REALLY work on making things HOT rather than warm. Especially the coffee. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a mom and pop breakfast place with a reserved booth for staff where they hang out in the corner. I'm not sure if the overall service here improved or not yet tbh but the younger waitress did a much better job than my previous trips and I think they might have read some of the past reviews. I would like to leave 3.5 stars but that's not and option. To be fair I believe the young lady earned them more than 3 stars but I can't give this 4 stars so 3 it is.

I think my mom's hashbrowns had onions in them that she didn't request, but she didn't send them back. Our booth wasn't dirty, and we had all the necessary condiments and such. Bathrooms were fine. Last night I made a couple modifications to my salad (no candied pecans and no sugarcane vinaigrette), but when I received my plate I noticed the fresh berries and cheese were also missing.
