We started out at the popular place across the parking lot. A friend just returned from Japan and we wanted to catch up. It was overwhelmingly noisy inside so we left (obviously before ordering) and walked over to Whelihan's. Neither of us had ever been. At 1:30 the pub / restaurant was quiet. Low lights, comfortable booth seating - it was just what the doctor ordered (so to speak!) My friend sounded like Elaine on Seinfeld, ordering a big salad. It was very nice. I went with a Reuben which was good, albeit somewhat greasy. Sandwiches are plated with chips. I like this place enough to return. If they grill their burgers and can make mine rare, they can count me as a new customer!

When looking for somewhere different to be able to eat, have plenty of tvs for him to watch games and have a comfortable enough environment for our little one, we decided to go to this PJ Whelihan's location. I didn't realize it was where Mad Mex used to be until we got there. It was definitely full in there, but luckily and surprisingly didn't seem overwhelming for our little one. The host was able to get us a booth on the other side of the restaurant that was in a good spot for us. The staff were all friendly and polite. Our waitress was really good - good banter, good recommendations and feedback on menu items we were deciding between and very attentive during our dining experience. Though it took us a while to decide what we wanted, we made sure to put in our little one's order since we knew she was pretty hungry - her standard and favorite (Chicken Tenders and fries). We ordered a couple of drinks: I got the Strawberry Mojito and he got an Old Fashioned. At first I thought my drink was completely off, but I just mixed it up and it wasn't too bad after that. My boyfriend said his was okay so ended up ordering a beer after finishing the drink and preferred the beer. For our meal, we were definitely eating with our eyes lol and had a good amount of leftovers to take with us. For apps, we went with the Loaded Nachos with the pulled chicken and Hot Honey wings. Both were actually pretty good. For our entrees he ordered a burger (cooked medium) with tots while I went with the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. My boyfriend said his burger was cooked more in the well side which he felt didn't make it as juicy as he was looking for, but he could deal with it; my food was fine with no issues. We definitely see ourselves coming back sometime (parent-free ) to try happy hour and other menu items.

So PJ's are all around, but unfortunately, the service at some other locations have been less than ideal. However, this was not the case on our recent visit to this location. First, it's a sport bar through and through. Plenty of televisions everywhere and the type of space where you can be comfortable shouting, "Let's Go Birds" or whatever slogan your team may have unless it's in support of some team out of texas. Anyway, the reason we come is for the wings and this place does not disappoint. They are meaty, flavorful, pieces of goodness. I can eat chicken wings everyday and having this place as an option makes me smile. Our waitress was attentive, service was fast and I'm more relieved to have found this location which means I don't have to go without my Buffalo garlic fix. Tacos are cool, but Tuesdays are for wings if PJ's is available.

Very nice spot. Staff was friendly. I went for Happy Hours & to celebrate my birthday. It was my first visit and drinks were just ok. A little pricey for Happy Hour and no buzz after 3 Margaritas. Wings were good and a good overall vibe. Met some cool people there as well. I'd go back, but after 1st drink, if it wasn't right I'm probably not gonna order any more drinks. The peanut butter pie was also tasty.

The garlic Parmesan wings are delicious. And the ranch is their secret sauce. Lol. For quick takeout I definitely recommend.

Which slowly pulled me away from my grumpy mood while being surrounded by laughter and smiles. My food came fast, perfectly done. I had the Brussels sprouts French onion soup and cross bar burger. All well timed so I had a moment to digest the deliciousness But!! Dude that burger was huge!! It reminded me of the movie good burger. I was not prepared. But thankfully I finished everything and left with a smile and a reason to look out for this place next time I'm in town. Wish I could give you guys ten stars

Paid my approx $67 bill with credit and rounded up to $80 with tip. A few days later I look at my credit card statement charge is $90. I know they inflated the tip bc the precharge coming in on my account was $67. Yes, I keep a close eye on my account. I called the following week to inquire and spoke to a Frank who said he was very sorry and would look into it. Then I heard nothing. Would love to give them the benefit of the doubt and they miss typed a number in. Fair warning to anyone going here. Pay with cash or keep a close eye on your credit card statement. Second time going there and I want to like it, but will never be going back for fear of getting my pocket picked again.

We chose this spot because we were looking for a Caribbean spot other than Ibis. We said we would run to an atm and be back and we were then informed that it would be $20...we tried to look this place up earlier ti find this info and saw noneee of that. Bouncer ended up honoring all of us but one to pay the 10, but it was you know, an annoying start. Once we got in there wasn't that many people here. So seemed crazy that you are charging 20 to get in...Scene picked up around 12-1, maybe then the price should change. Hookah costs 25. Coals are an additional charge of like three dollars- annoying, At least the first coal should be free. Especially when they aren't even the big hookahs... Drinks were about $7 which isn't bad. Shots were sufficient, no real issue with that. Maybe another bartender would help. The place is spacious, vibe is great. This night they played American Music and Caribbean music so great blend. I heard that on Fridays theres no cover and they have $5 fishbowls...thats my kind of party so I hope that it's true. There's one functional pool table. Enough tvs to watch a game and ultimately a nice little hangout spot. There is parking in the back as well. Overall, once the party picked up and we kept drinking the fun increased! Didn't want to leave! Limited chairs/seating. There was an event that night, someones birthday and food was served. Not sure if thats every night but either way totallyyyyy worth the cover

Haven't been here in a while but now this place is back in my rotation! It's in the heart of Narberth, a very cute spot on the corner with plenty of outdoor seating. As we were walking in a server, Sara, welcomed us with a friendly smile and got us seated at an outdoor table. She took our drink order while we perused the menu and came back with waters for both of us as well, which is always welcome during the warm summer days. I opted for the turkey sandwich, which is one of my favorites at the GAP. Your choice of cheese and gravy on a Kaiser, it's delicious! My GF got the quesadilla and opted for shrimp instead of chicken. She loved hers as well. It was actually a bit busy for 9:30 on a Wednesday night, with lots of people sitting outside. Sara took great care of us, refilling our waters and getting us another round of drinks, she checked on us several times to make sure we didn't need anything. Stop in if you're in the area, great food, drinks, and friendly service!
