    We loved what we got!

So if this little ice cream shop were closer to me, I'd be there every day. Not just because of the amazing selection of ice creams, not just the friendly service, not the grass roots events they do in the community, but rather because it has ALL those attributes in spades! When I went in, the owner was there and was extremely pleasant, detailing the different things I could get as a gluten free person. I had many choices, but ultimately decided on ice cream nachos which he made exclusively gluten free for me. We talked about the events he does in the community for kids and this man's face just lit up as he talked about it. The nachos were delicious, as was the soft serve. The store is small, but well worth squeezing into. I absolutely love it here and I can't wait to come back to try more options! I highly recommend this sweet spot, regardless if you have kids or not. It's a place where magic happens.

Cool little place with so many flavors of Perry's it was hard to choose. The portions were OK, flavors were tasty. But it's just Perry's

SOOOO glad that we decided to stop here on our way out of Buffalo! Not only were the two women that worked there friendly, helpful, and fun, everything we ordered was DELICIOUS! We got the Dole whip strawberry and pineapple swirl, a "What the doctor ordered", and a "PJ PJB CRUNCH" SOOOOOOO good!

    Perfect!

This past June our daughter graduated from home for her senior year in Hs. We tried to make it as special as possible and PJ Cools helped by making this awesome ice cream cake for her! Everyone loved it and there wasn't any left! It was delicious and beautiful, exactly what we wanted!!

Does a place ever fill you with such nostalgia and joy that you leave feeling utterly fulfilled? PJ Cools does this for me every time I stop in. This neat little ice cream shop has something for everyone in your group. Soft serve, Perry's hard ice cream, milkshakes, even their own take on the famously delicious Dole Whip from Disney World! I always end up getting some variation of a vanilla soft serve cone, but it's always been satisfying. Every time I go with a group, they're all happy with their choices, too! The menu is reasonably priced, won't break the bank at all. The inside is bright and cheery with a lot of vintage looking decor. There's space to sit and they have coloring activities for kids as well! Note that it is cash only though they do have an ATM inside. The owners truly are shining stars. They've always been so friendly to me and my family, they're truly dedicated and always in the shop. They run their business very well and are always happy to see us. I'll be back time and time again, maybe someday I'll venture out of my vanilla cone comfort zone.

I was hoping to meet the one, the only PJ Cool upon my visit - but alas. I'd think this place qualifies as a 'hidden gem'; while there's plenty of signage to tell you where to stop, there's nothing too outwardly flashy about this house-turned ice cream shop. Not to mention, you don't really know what an amazing store you're stepping into. What stood out to me right away was the fantastic variety of cones, sundaes, and flavors they offered. They had every sort of cool concoction only your childhood imagination could think up, and it's rare to find something so unique from ice cream shops around here. I had a crazy hankering for ice cream during my visit, but the sundae list pulled me away from your typical Perry's; I will admit, their 'PJ's Kitty Litter' sundae was definitely tempting, but I ended up trying PJ's Caramel Apple Pie and it was probably the coolest sundae I've ever had! A lot of places advertise a 'hot' sundae but I rarely find my toppings hot for some reason - and I could definitely feel how warm the caramel drizzle was on my sundae. Perfectly gooey and exactly what you should expect from a classic dessert! My friend was enticed by their deluxe waffle cones, which includes chocolate-dipped cones topped with some crazy options like smarties, Nerds candy, Butterfinger, Fruity Pebbles, Gummy Worms...do I even need to go on? And you can get whatever flavor of ice cream you like! You can also get shakes and floats, splits, and slushies here. I overheard a conversation with some of the staff that they have lactose free ice cream available. Great place to bring kids. They can color a picture of the PJ logo and have it hung up somewhere in the shop. There were also little toy games on every table, that kept me pretty occupied for a half hour after I had finished my ice cream. Don't judge. They also have their own version of Butterbeer, like the drink you can get at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. While I've never been and I can't compare the taste, I'm PJ Cools makes it better. I believe it.

I met two friends here yesterday. One of them had brought her young daughter. Many things had caught my eye on the menu. I ended up ordering the Hot Fudge Peanut Butter Oreo parfait, after seeing a small sign on the cash register, when it was my turn to order. My parfait was great. I'm so glad that was what I decided on. My friend's daughter ordered the Super Hero ice cream. It's cherry bubblegum, lemon, and blue raspberry ice cream. She really enjoyed it. I don't recall what my two friends ordered. The front door was locked so there wasn't chaos going into the one line. You have to enter through the back door. The line wasn't too long when I entered it. The place was decorated well and I really liked the look of it. This ice cream shop takes cash AND credit cards. The employees were friendly and quick with my order. I noticed that they have many different kinds of cones and waffles cones. I'd like to return for one of the Lucky Charms waffle cones and to get a selfie with the dancing ice cream cone that was outside waving to drivers on Transit Road. He waved at me, when I was sitting on the picnic bench outside, waiting for my friends. Oh, also, currently you can't eat your sweet treats inside. There is seating but it isn't allowed because of Covid. It was a bit chilly sitting outside, after the sun had set but it was a great time. Come check out PJ COOLS; it's a cool place to be!!!

This place is the cutest. You can tell it's catered to families and kids. It's bright, vibrant, and it made me smile on sight. I love all of the kid artwork on the walls and the awesome blue staircase. It's fun. The owner is a very friendly guy. You can tell he genuinely likes and is proud of his establishment which makes it all the more enjoyable while you're in there. There is a huge selection. There is definitely something for everyone as it caters to those who are gluten free, sugar free, or lacrosse intolerant too. There are Dole whips that look and sound delicious, and I'll have to try them out at some point. There are so many options from sundaes to cones. There are so many different types of ice cream flavors, some of which I have never seen before. It's hard to choose! You get a pretty hefty serving. It's worth every penny, and the pricing is standard pricing. They don't accept credit cards, so you need cash, but there is an ATM in there. You also get a loyalty card which earns you a free cone after 10, I believe.

LOVED their dirty ube, with the right amount of sweetness. The ube croissant is also really good. The salted egg croissant filling's flavor is not as strong (was expecting a stronger taste). The bakery is mostly a "pre-order and pickup" kind of a place but she does sell leftovers by the unit every week. The website and her Facebook page list what is up for grabs every week and you have to place an order at least the day before. When I walked into the place one Sunday, I tried one of her leftover ube mochi and was hooked. I decided to grab the entire Ube mix box for the next week and boy, am I glad! Everything is so divine, especially the ube tres leches cake and the ube almond croissant. The Tres leches was just moist enough and had that wonderful Ube flavor while the croissant was fresh, crisp on the outside, Soft on the inside. I also loved the Ube ensaimada (Filipino bread with cheese and ube jam). The other items like ube cookies and crinkle were pretty good too. I can confidently say that I'm gonna have to struggle to not go there every week!

Their rolls and cakes are excellent, with plenty of cream, not too sweet. The cakes are beautifully glazed and decorated. The sweet potato cake is fluffy and light. It was quite busy even on a Saturday evening around 6pm. There are also tables inside the shop for dining in. Other than whole cakes, they do have slices of cakes available and other mini desserts + a lot of macarons! We did request the shop to write HBD on the cake, but the staff said they are unable to do it at this location (not sure why, maybe don't have the proper tools?). We also tried asking for a candle; we ended up having to buy a pack of 6 candles at the shop :\
