It's truly a hidden gem in Niagara Falls. At first, I wasn't sure if I can buy any sweets from here since the decorations mostly included wedding accessories, but when I entered the store and turned to the left, I found the their pastries and cakes display. We gad a really nice chat with the owner and he gave us a rundown of what they offer. We bought some pastries for takeout; each one would be around $2-$2.5 or $20/kg. The pastries were delicious and fresh. They offer both prepared and custom-made cakes of different shapes and sizes. We spotted this place across the street from a Greek restaurant. We saw the word cakes and had to try it. They have many things inside from cakes, chocolates, kitchen items, and other novelty items. They seem to have something for everyone. The taste of these pastries were soft, delicious, and full of flavor. we only tried six of the varieties, but we would love to try them all. February 2024 - $250 but cake not as ordered and not ready for pick up on time for wedding! I ordered a cake for my daughter's wedding. She loves chocolate cake and wanted that for her special day. I asked for a chocolate cake with white buttercream icing with pearls. No other colours, just white buttercream and chocolate cake. They said that as it was buttercream, the cake would have to be picked up the day of the wedding. I requested as early as possible (perhaps 10 am?). They said no, it would have to be 11 am. I confirmed that 11 am was the latest but it had to be on time as the photographer was coming for wedding in NOTL for 11:30 am. When I arrived, the cake was not ready. He stated "oh sorry, just 10 minutes" but then took until 11:24 am to have it ready. I think he decorated it while I waited. I asked him to hurry multiple times. The female staff at the counter went to the back and I could hear her trying to rush them. She scolded the guy in the back "You can't waste people's time like this. If you stopped paying so much attention to your cars and your garage, this wouldn't happen. This is your business. Pay attention to it. This isn't fair to people when you mess up all the time! Come in and get your work done!" Yikes. When the bride cut the cake, it was not chocolate cake. It was white cake with chocolate buttercream filling. The ratio of icing to cake was very, very off as there was more icing than anything else. (see pic) The icing was not sweet. It was beautifully decorated but that didn't help us serve it to our guests. No one finished their piece of cake and several guests refused pieces of cake based on other people's reactions. $250 for nothing..... I contacted for a refund but they refused to take any blame for the lateness of the cake being ready and the fact that it was not what we ordered. They said they would call back on Monday but did not call until Thursday and offered a $40 credit for next time. This wasn't a birthday cake. This was a wedding cake! I will never go there again. They tried to claim I ordered wrong but my other daughter was with me and she confirms what I said. So sad they couldn't simply offer a refund for a product not as ordered. read more

I found this bakery online after searching for a wedding cake. The pictures of their cakes were amazing. Being from Marco Island, Florida and planning a wedding in Niagara Falls was tricky but it all worked out perfectly ! The cake, their signature white chocolate was amazing ! Criveller coordinated and delivered a delicious and beautifully special Birthday cake for our Mom's birthday dinner at The Rainbow room in Niagra Falls. Although could tell the bakery was busy when I called to order, they did go over selections and made recommendations which were helpful. Went with the Hazelnut Sigfreido with their Signature White Chocolate fringe and it was Amazing! Rich yet lite - melted in your mouth and not overly sweet. Could really taste the quality ingredients. Wish I could taste it again tonight..too bad were all the way in FL. The only bad part was no leftovers Everyone, all 12 of us, from the kids to adults enjoyed this one. IMO well worth the $65.Canadian for a memorable occasion. The decoration was classy. Fabulous finish to a great meal. I had ordered a 50th birthday cake for my husband and had it picked up by someone else to be delivered to his party. The first time I saw it I was blown away! It was all I could have asked for and more. Looks aside, it was probably one of THE best cakes I have ever eaten. I only wish we lived closer so I could use them for all my cake needs. The staff was extremely helpful and guided me as to what would work best for the number of people I needed to feed and answered all my questions. HORRIBLE! Ordered pastries, took forever to get service since the owner was busy fooling around with her husband. She finally serves me, weighs the tray of pastries with the tray!! Illegal!! I called her on it and she got defensive, refused to sell me pastries without the tray. Bought them anyway as i had guests coming over and no time to get anything else. Took them home and weighed the empty tray. 39.95 a kilo....18.36 for the empty tray!! Highway robbery! Guests came over and we bit into pastries..they tasted a bit funny. Closer look showed the custard had seperated. They were not fresh..my guess 3 days old. Called to tell them and the mouthpiece girl that owns it with her husband was swearing at me calling me a liar. Pastries selection is really vast and the prices are reasonable. Everything from mini cannolis to zeppole to who knows what the heck a bignola is. I paid $8 for 6 pieces and don't regret it one bit. The quality was definitely there. I only wish they had coffee though. How dare they tempt me with those damn irresistible cookies and pastries and not offer espresso to wash it down! read more

Criveller Cakes was amazing to work with and delivered and amazing product!! I coordinated with them from the states to order a birthday to be delivered to a local hotel for a birthday. I was a little nervous as I was ordering site unseen, but there website did a great job of describing cakes. Definitely go with the white chocolate ruffles. Delivery was as expected, cake was BETTER than expected both aesthetically & taste, and service was great. Would highly recommend to locals or for someone travelling through as I was or for destination weddings. read more
