Pizetta 21 is one of those neighborhood spots that instantly makes you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. The space is cozy with limited inside and outside seating, and the staff strikes that perfect balance of friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The star, of course, is the pizza. The crust has that ideal mix of crisp edges and a soft, chewy center, and the toppings taste incredibly fresh--thoughtfully paired rather than just piled on. You can tell there's real care behind every combination. It's the kind of place where you can come for a casual dinner, a date night, or a quick bite and walk out feeling like you got something memorable. If you're anywhere nearby, Pizetta 21 is absolutely worth the stop. A small spot with big heart and even bigger flavor

The service, vibe, and overall experience that you get from dining at Pizzetta is the best part more than anything. Our host accidentally gave our table to a group who arrived after us but was very honest and apologetic about it, then offered us complimentary drinks. Truly nothing to worry about and we really appreciated the way it was handled. They also have blankets outside that you can borrow to stay warm while standing outside waiting for your table! We ordered the Farm Egg and Spicy San Marzano pizzas. The Spicy San Marzano came out first and we were pleasantly surprised. The Farm Egg took a bit longer to come out and while it's the more popular of the two, the Spicy San Marzano was our favorite.

Such a good spot. The pizzettas were fresh and made with great ingredients. We ordered the hazelnut pizza and it was surprisingly delicious and unique. They also have homemade sausages, and the salads were interesting and felt like something new. The service was excellent. The space is very small, but that adds to the charm.

Loved the pizza here. Stopped by after a 5 mile hike with the dog, so I was able to sit on their outdoor dining setup. Their menu changes every so often so they may not have this anymore, but the pizza I got was the Farm egg, prosciutto, mushroom, mozzarella, salmoriglio. It was phenomenal! Very light and crisp crust, closer to a flatbread than your typical crust but it had good flavor and the pizza was very easy and satisfying to eat. Loved the fresh mushrooms and mozzarella. Highly recommend if you're in this area for lunch.

This is such a solid restaurant that no matter when you go or what you get; you'll always leave satisfied. I forgot to take a photo of their menu but their offerings change every few weeks. It's a good way to find out new items you like! We got the daily starter (which was a watermelon, tomato and cucumber salad), a braised brisket pizza and panna cotta as a dessert. All of that plus a glass of wine and coke for $64 dollars is a good value compared to other SF restaurants. We got there at around 8pm and their daily desserts were sold out so I highly suggest getting there a little earlier if you want to try out their full selection of offerings. Our servers were amazing and answered any question we had. The indoor seating is intimate which definitely adds to the ambiance of the place. A great date night place or somewhere to meet up with friends!

Came here Saturday for 2 at around 7pm, waited 15 min and seated inside on a high top seat. Very cozy, and mostly outdoor seating. Ordered 2 pizzas for 2 people and could've probably gotten three. Very solid pizzas, thin crust abd unique flavors. Got the pork and margarita pizza and the pork one was a standout! Will come again!

This place came recommended by a friend, so we checked it out on our weekend in the city. I love places that routinely switch out the menu, so I was excited to try what they had this month. Overall the food was pretty tasty and unique! Unfortunately we did have to wait super long after we ordered to get our food--about 45 minutes--even though it wasn't even very busy. This was pretty disappointing as we were all super hungry. With that said, we still enjoyed the food and it was also a pretty fair price for it.

Great pizza spot tucked in the Richmond neighborhood! Came here on a Sunday around noon and was seated immediately. We got to sit at one of the high top tables next to the kitchen, which meant that occasionally, we could see the pizza dough being thrown in the air by the chef. Their menu changes from biweekly, so the pizzas you may be seeing on Yelp might not be the same as the ones they are currently serving. My partner and I decided to split a Farm Egg pizza, which came with bacon, collard greens, and gruyère cheese, and two farm eggs. The gruyère cheese... absolutely amazing flavor! The bacon also adds a nice touch and the farm egg yolk adds creaminess to the pizza. They also topped it with black pepper, which is always a sold combo with eggs. They do make a thin crust pizza, which is on the crispier side. There aren't a lot of people working there since it is small, but they are attentive and nice.

Super cute atmosphere with great outdoor seating. We ordered a cappuccino, espresso, red wine, biscotti, and their two appetizer specials which were the eggplant and pepper bean stew. Everything was excellent! The appetizers were unbelievably good. I definitely think the eggplant dish could for sure be an entree, it was INCREDIBLE. And the saffron biscotti was delightful with the cappuccino. Everything was fresh, creative, and utterly delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Clam, Tomato alla Pescatore, Red Onion, Smoked Mozzarella

Pizzetta 211 is a gem of a spot in San Francisco, serving up some of the best thin-crust pizzas in the city. We tried the Clam, Tomato alla Pescatore, Red Onion, Smoked Mozzarella pizza and the Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil pizza, and both were fantastic. The dough was exceptional, with a light yet chewy texture that reminded me of classic Italian spots in Rome. The seafood pizza had a perfect balance of briny clams, smoky mozzarella, and bright acidity from the tomato, making each bite packed with flavor. The Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil pizza was simple but executed flawlessly, with fresh ingredients shining through. We'll definitely be going back--this place is a must-visit for any pizza lover in the Bay Area. The service was fast yet still friendly. We requested to have the pizzas brought out one after the other to ensure they remained warm and fresh, and the wait staff had no issue with this. As soon as we finished one pizza, they were already walking the next one over to us. The restaurant had a very homey ambiance, though eating inside was a bit loud due to the hustle and bustle of the kitchen. A little added bonus--one of the staff members had their dog "patrolling" outside for any scraps that might have fallen from guests dining outdoors. The dog was very friendly and stayed outside, maintaining a clean and sanitized restaurant. Be aware, though--the dog might request a "cheese tax" as you pack up and leave!

I loved the pizzas! Got two different ones with my partner and couldn't have loved it more. This place is tucked in the avenues of Richmond district and allow you some peace and quiet to get to know your date or friend or family member more. Such a cozy spot and most of the seating indoor provides that ambiance. Outdoor seating is still warm because they have heaters on. The food was fresh, warm and crispy in the right places. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before. We got the clam and the pepperoni pizza and both were equally delicious. I also requested that they bring out the pizzas one at a time so it would be warm and they were amenable to the request. 10/10 service, food, ambiance and neighborhood. Would totally recommend this place.

I almost didn't want to review this place in hopes of keeping it secret because this place is SO GOOD! I've been coming here since they first opened, just a few benches inside of a tiny restaurant. They now have a good amount of seating outside. I love this place because it is delicious and charmingly romantic all while being affordable. I love getting the daily starter, which is always delicious and fresh. They also have a surprisingly good selection of beers and wines, considering the establishment's tiny size. Service is usually a bit rushed since it's usually just one person running around, but they are always nice and I'ven't had any complaints yet. The chefs are right there, you can see them working. It's a bit of entertainment while you wait. Once or twice I've even had brief friendly conversations with some of the cooks!

My friend, her doggie, and I walked to this spot for dinner while we were staying in the city during a weekend getaway. We waited for an hour and 45 minutes because she wanted to wait for one of the tables that was on the outside patio area. So that definitely was a long wait. We each got a pizza and a drink, and they were pretty good. Service was fast and friendly. The place is small with some seating inside, and couple right outside of the shop along with a few tables on the outdoor wooden patio. 3.5 stars

Do they have seating for 6 and what's the best parking method here?

Yes, they can form a table for 6. They don't take reservations. They're located in a residential neighborhood, so it's all street parking. Though you might have to circle a couple of times to find one.

Are they open Sunday nov 25 th as usual? Heard that they are closed all week for Thanksgiving.

    Just ordered a few Pizzetta.

They call you when the table is ready so we were free to walk around. For the smashburgers, they have a beef and a vegetarian patty version, both with 2 patties, double cheese, pickles, and onion. No substitutions but trust me we all got the og burger and it was delicious. Loved the crispy patties with a nice charred edge. I think this may have changed my mind about smashburgers entirely, it was that good. We also got the crispy brussel sprouts to share (on a bed of goat cheese for extra flavor) and the mushroom pizza. I liked the variety of mushrooms they use which gave the pizza a nice earthiness. I'm not a huge fan of white pizzas though so I thought it could have used an extra boost of flavor but for detroit style thicker crust pizza, this was solid.

We originally put our name on the list and were quoted about a 1.5 hour wait, but we hopped in the bar line and ended up seated within about 15 minutes. The bar area was a little tight and could've used a little more awareness from guests scooting down, but the staff was friendly, attentive, and kept things moving. The cocktails and wine selection were both solid, and the vinyl spinning in the background gave the place a great atmosphere. From a food standpoint, the burger has the bones of being an excellent burger. The bun was well chosen, the patties were cooked properly with a good crust, and the combination of lettuce, onions, pickles, special sauce, and American cheese worked really well together without trying too hard. Overall the balance was there. My only critique was the seasoning. Mine was very heavy handed with the salt, and after trying my partner's burger too, both leaned saltier than they needed to. The potato salad was good and honestly could've used a little more seasoning, We finished with a cannoli that was excellent. Not overly sweet, with a great crispy shell and nice balance to the filling. On my quest to find the best burger in San Francisco, I'm not sure this one is quite in contention yet, but there's definitely potential here and enough positives that I'd come back and give it another shot.
