So many pizza places in SF, I can keep up! Met a friend for a 6:30pm res and got sat right by the window. The staff was quick and there was always a constant stream of people doing carry out. Caesar came fast and the pizzas followed soon after - really nice base on these and oven marks. The potato pizza was my favorite of the two - the other one I think lacked a little salt?

One of my favorite spots in the city for pizza! The pies are thin and perfectly charred and crispy. We came on a weekday and was able to snag a spot at the community table without waiting. We did a glass of White House wine and a glass of syrah. Both were delicious, the house wine was refreshing and not too tart while the Syrah wasn't overly dry. Of course the wine paired beautifully with our pie. Went went with the sausage and it was perfection. Savory and delicious, will be back for more solid pizza!

Honestly really happy with my experience at DamnFine pizza. Came with a reservation on a weekend for lunch, and service was great. Crowded so a reservation is clutch. Having been to Flour+Water pizza and other places in the city, I actually thought DamnFine surpassed the others. We ordered two cocktails, a caesar salad, and two pizzas. damnfine spritz was only ok, would get others. The pear cocktail was solid, not too sweet and good flavors. Caesar salad was good. Fresh and crispy veggies + good flavors with the squeeze of lemon The pizza was very good. We got the lil smokey and the acapulco pizzas. We really liked the dough, it had a nice bounce and chewiness despite being light and on the softer sider without being undercooked. Really set the pizza apart from others we've had. Toppings were also very flavorful. Loved the pickled onions and pineapple on the acapulco with contrasting flavor notes. Lil smokey had nice depth to flavor. I wish both were a little spicier, or if i could request more spice but they did have a little hint of heat. Parking is pretty available in the surrounding areas. Would recommend

4.5 stars. Totally in the hype on the pizza. Mushroom dream: light on the sauce, thin crust mixed mushroom. Lil Smokey: more flavorful because of the red sauce, broccolini and chili pairs with the sausage Hot honey: house made? .It was more spicy than sweet and it will grow on you the more you have. Get both pizzas for a balance between the two. It was difficult to hear because it was a loud in there. Water was provided to each table, it was difficult to get our severs attention. One large table for 4-6 in the back, high table in the middle with tables of 2-4 on the sides. Outside dining was full on sunny night.

3.5/5 My party of 3 came in on a Saturday night at 7:15pm and got seated around 8pm. They were very packed but had opened seating patio; however, it was pretty cold at night so we opted to wait and sit inside. They have a whole separate back covered patio too. They're known for their thin pizza! We split the: Caesar Salad ($16 - 4/5 - on the smaller side but included kale, anchovies, and lemon made this salad on the extra yummy side), Pig in the Woods ($26 - 3.5/5 - garlic and truffle sauce really came through), and Acapulco ($25 - 3/5 - interesting mix of the spicy red sauce and sweet pineapple but with so many veggies, my taste buds were definitely confused and not sure if this combo worked for me). Crust definitely was on the drier side and normally I eat it but each bite was so tough to chew. Pizza on the inside definitely got soggy fast though + the floppy vibes. We also got the Hot Honey (always good so hard to mess up) and the Pistachio Ice Cream (3/5 - kinda mid, not the creamy heavy pistachio flavor that I was looking for + had some icy chunks). Service wise, they're super busy and hard to get their attention.

3.5* Better for dine-in rather than carry-out. Great to have a place like this in the outer sunset. I learned that their thin crust doesn't hold up well to take out though. We did to go which we ate only 5-10 minutes later and already the alotta burrata was a huge soggy mess. A not fun to eat, gross kind of mess. The flavor was good but like another review mentioned all of the topping slid off in a slop. Despite that the flavor was good. A quick spin in the airfryer revived it. The Smokey was spicier than expected, the alotta burrata was tastier. While part of the crust was crisp, part was more burnt than I'd prefer. Calamari had good crunch but was a bit rubbery. Portion as on the smaller side as other reviews mentioned. Pasta with clams came with bits of pancetta. Clams were good, pasta was a bit soft, pancetta had many bits that were hard bits of fat, not crisp that had to be picked out. I'd stick to the pies.

Dined at DamnFine Pizza with 6 others and I shared the margharita pizza and a Caesar salad with another person while most people ordered their own pizza. We had a variety of pizzas and sides at the table and gave each other tastes. The margharita was good, but I prefer my crust to be a bit crispier; probably could have ordered it on the crispier side, but didn't think to do so. The Caesar salad was huge and we had enough to share with the others at the table. Someone else ordered the fried calamari for the table and that was delicious; not oily and very crispy! The wood-fired carrots were good, too. This is definitely a place where you need to share. The Caesar salad ($16?) was too big for just two people; I would've prefered a smaller portion with a less expensive price. The pizzas are made for at least 2 people with each person getting 3 good sized slices. None of the side dishes (salads, appetizers, etc.) are small (or inexpensive enough) to try if you don't dine with a group. The person who had the wood-fired carrots shared it and still had lots to take home. The others who ordered whole pizzas each took home at least half of their pizza. Pizza ran from $20 to around $28(?). I don't know why, but I didn't get a picture of the pizza menu! The service was great, friendly and efficient. Carafes of water were refilled quickly and the waitperson check on us a couple of times. I would definitely return to dine here again!

Came to DAMNFiNE after parents saw it on YouTube and wanted to try it - they are so hip. We shared a pie, a pasta, and a salad which was perfect for 3. The chicory salad came first and honestly this was my favorite dish. The chicory was crisp and its bitterness was cut by both the acidity and sweetness of the blood oranges and the creaminess of the goat cheese. The sprinkles of fresh fennel and pistachio were also really nice. For the pasta, we went with the papardelle with beef ragu. It was rich with a deep tomato and beefy flavor, but the noodles kind of stuck together. For pizza? We went with the lil smoky which had sausage, broccolini, Calabrian chilis, and smoked mozzarella. The combination? Excellent. The texture of the crust? Satisfyingly crisp yet chewy. BUT. The bottom? Burnt. I didn't notice the burnt flavor on one side of the pie but on the other? Definitely a little off putting. Nearby tables also featured pies of the same bottom so idk if it was too hot today or this is their style. I'll probably return but I'll definitely be watching the cook a little closer next time.

We came on a Friday night and waited about an hour for a table for three. Once we got seated inside, we loved the vibe! Especially the disco light, which made it really fun. The service was great and everyone was super friendly. The pizza was delicious, though not my absolute favorite in the city. Still, definitely worth checking out for the atmosphere and overall experience.

Was for some reason super craving some pizza, so came in on a Friday night. It's only street parking around which can get a bit difficult but we managed. My friend and I were greeted and sat immediately and the inside is warm and cozy. I love that you can see everyone making the pizza, and the service was super cheery and warm. We ordered the calamari to share and the lil Smokey pizza. The calamari was super flavorful, had a good crunch, and the sauce was fire. Pizza hit my craving pretty spot on. The toppings were a nice combo, and the crust was a good blend of chewy and fluffy. All the other pizzas sounded really good too, would love to come back and try others. Overall, this was a super warm, cozy, delicious experience. Service definitely elevated my experience. Will see me again!

My third time back. No nonsense pizza and certainly hit the spot. Delicious pizza and calamari frites. There are so many different menu items that is so good will have to revisit again. I will definitely have to walk home after this meal. Staffs here are very welcoming and friendly nice ambiance great for meet up.

we came here on a sunday night and did not have to wait at all, surprisingly! the food also came out so quickly--both apps and pizzas. we got the: - calamari - wood fired carrots - lil smokey pizza - purple potato pesto pizza - pig of the woods pizza I liked the lil smokey then pig of the woods then purple potato pesto, but loved them all, the crusts were good too

Made a reservation for dinner and the pizza and pasta we had were delicious. The crab ravioli was delicate but had great flavor, the dish was a smaller size for sharing for two people. The pizza favorite was the margherita, the dough and fresh basil with red sauce was perfect. The purple potato pesto pizza was too oily for us. Pizzas were large and great value. Service was friendly and attentive. We were seated inside but there was also a patio in the back and bar seating.

I think this may have changed my mind about smashburgers entirely, it was that good. We also got the crispy brussel sprouts to share (on a bed of goat cheese for extra flavor) and the mushroom pizza. I liked the variety of mushrooms they use which gave the pizza a nice earthiness. Overall I do think the crust would make me consider getting take out again but everything else was just ok I will say that the bagels are really excellent if you can get them warm. Once they cool down and if you eat them later (room temp or toasted) it's a solid bagel but it's really only worth a special trip in my opinion if they are hot and fresh
