Crunch caesar salad
Jaime N.

Clean Brewery with great food options. Highly recommend the double maillards burger and garlic crunch caesar salad. The burger is small but the salad is quite large. The main downside is the crowd coming in as this location is small to medium sized and the crowd is very large on the weekends. Expect to wait for some time. Pro tip: mix the weekender beer with the wine slushie.

They have really a unique burger selection. There is Asian inspired burgers, traditional American burgers, chicken burger and more! The beer is also amazing. The ambience of the store is great, it's always so busy and lively and has a bar vibe. They have some outdoor seats as well. As one person noted, when it is busy it is difficult to find seating. But the pros is that this place is only 4 blocks away from the beach! After you order at the counter, they give you a paging device that vibrates when your order is ready. So we grabbed our food and walked to the beach. I think everything was good except the fries. They even have unique sauce list. I tried every single one, some better than others but definitely worth trying! Will come back if I am craving a burger!

Line was out around the block until at least 9 pm. If you want to grab a beer or drink at Two Pitchers (brewing company from Oakland) you can separately enter the bar at the left hand side. Maillards was initially a pop up a the Sunset Farmer's market. It's great to see they are opening a brick and mortar store. Ambience is loud and lively which is nice to see in the outer sunset. Plenty of groups, couples and friends chatting away with a beer and burger. The smash burger itself is substantial. Good fries with options for different sauces. We got the spicy aioli, herb ranch and Morrocan spiced honey. Parking on that block itself is busy because of the amount of restaurants in that area. I saw plenty of spots a couple blocks up.

This is a review about the brewery connected to Mallards. You can either order your drinks at the bar or through Mallards but the beer selection is quite extensive. I have tried a lot of breweries in the city and I appreciate their dedication to local craft! I also appreciated that they had spritzes and slushees. I was able to get a flight of a few of their lighter beers, but the staff let me sample a few things. This is a great place to just get a beer while you wait or get a drink wand hang out with friends in the patio. Thank you again Two Pitchers!

Damn, it is unfortunately worth the hype (worth waiting in line? Ehhh). I actually want to shout out two pitchers brewing first, I have never enjoyed a flight of beers this much! Great bright tastes, unique flavors that really shine through the beer, very nice. The Birds Eye sandwich is so bomb. Fries are fries, I even tried to mix it up w the honey w Moroccan spices but it was fine lol

What a match made in heaven! Two Pitchers Brewing has a menu of assorted and delicious beer. The prices can't be beat and the service is excellent! Combine that with the tasty smashed burgers from Maillard and it is easy to see why this establishment is bustling. I cannot wait to return and try more of both!

Finally a brick & mortar location for my fav smash burger in the city! We went the weekend following soft opening, so we were prepared for the line. Showed up 20 min before opening and there was already a line down the street. All in all, we waited for an hour between doors opening, ordering, and food arriving. Two pitchers bartenders were ringing up beers for guests waiting in line for maillards, which I thought was a clever partnership and nice touch. Burgers are absolutely delicious and worth the wait. DO NOT SKIP THE OREO ICE CREAM. I can't name a much better combo than maillards burgers, hazy ipa, and Oreo soft serve. Will definitely be back.

SOOO good! Didn't realize it was the soft opening when we showed up on Saturday. The line was down the street before it even opened. Love how there is a line for beer and a line for food because you can have a beer while you're waiting. Guy that helped poured my beers was great. Gave recommendations based on what I was wanting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND waiting. The food is with the wait! Pricing is perfect for both food and beers. Love that it is dog friendly as well! 10/10

They share a space with Maillard's Smash Burgers, which is usually a pop up at the farmers market or bar(s) finally have a brick and mortar! Came for the soft opening and the owner held the door open for us, which was so kind. Tom of Two Pitchers Beer. I overheard they had $3 pints for the opening and I snagged one while I waited for my burger! Love the open plan space with tons of seating for groups and families alike. Can't wait to come back this weekend to try the soft serve!

The menu is very clear about what you're in for. - Lavender Sgroppino: basically a fancy alcoholic frozen lemonade, everything I wanted it to be! - Irish Coffee and Parmesan: this was... interesting. The base drink, basically a frozen espresso martini, was good, but the topper cheese was SOOO salty. If that's your vibe, try it! We switched out for a brut, which was lovely. The apps were excellent! We got the smoked salmon sliders and the 100 layer, both of which were well-designed and very tasty. Our waiter was excellent. Super attentive without being invasive, very fast service. And the vibe of the place is so cute. Will DEFINITELY be coming back for the full dinner!

This place was included on a list of Sunday brunch recommendations. I had seen other fellow Elite Yelpers recommending it, so I wanted to try it. We had the French toast sticks, very good, as well as the classic breakfast dish, my partner had the breakfast burrito. Both dishes were decent, but we were there for the company mostly. The restaurant was quaint and cute, more compact, but had a secondary overflow area in a separate part of the restaurant. There were restrooms on both side, and Causewells served as a chill morning for us with our friends. The location had a cute bar set up for evening link ups, and the service was very friendly. The vibe is more of what you go for the food is decent but won't necessarily blow you away. Try them out and see for yourself. For tourists, or visitors of the city, the location is in the Marina District, so Golden Gate Bridge is near if you'd like to sightsee. This location is also very close to the Presidio theater.

The wait on a Wednesday evening was kind of long but doesn't feel too bad when you're with good company. My friend and I waited about an hour around 6:30. The mushroom pizza was very flavorful. The corners and sides were crunchy, it was topped with lots of cheese and mushrooms. It was the perfect amount for 2 people. We also got the olive oil cake which came with a dollop of what I think is whipped cream cheese. It had a strong olive oil flavor, extremely moist and delicious. We were seated at the bar and although it was a little tight, it was nice to be able to look around the decorated area behind the bar. Tons of vinyls and quirky decor. Servers were also very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be returning to try other menu items!

Everybody has any reason to say it's a better burger whether it's for the purple onions, pickles , or buns. There is a place which serves the Cali Burger. On a West Portal stroll there is a burger place which sells the Cali Burger. The Cali Burger means fresher ingredients usually locally sourced in California. Calibur is the place to get an organic grass fed burger. I got the double cheese burger with Calibur sauce. It was tasty and it had great flavor along with a soft bun. The fresh grass fed cheese burger pairs well to eat with cheese fries in SF. The fries were crispy and saucy and got a bit messy. Calibur also sells chili cheese dogs along with different flavors of shake including Neapolitan. Overall a good place to fresh grass fed cheese burger on a bun. You can get organic beef that's grass "fed"with Calibur sauce "spread" and a soft fresh bun "bread"although they don't have onion rings or purple onions you can get raw with yellow onions or the onions that are "red" The organic ingredients locally grown under the California "sun" get a grass fed cheeseburger medium or well "done" take a shot with Calibur and I ain't talking about a weapon like a "gun" but get something loaded with beef and cheese on a "bun"

The woman at the counter was really friendly. I used to work retail and dealing with customers, even at the start of the shift, can wear you down pretty quick. So I gotta give props to her for being positive during this very busy day. I got the crispy hot honey chicken tacos, which is one of this month's specials. It came with delicious sweet corn, cabbage slaw, chipotle mayo, and a cilantro-lime crema. It's basically the flavors of elote with fried chicken and it yummy! The breading on the chicken was even and crisp. And I enjoyed the spicy-sweet flavor of the honey, which complemented the chipotle mayo. I also enjoyed the crunch from the cabbage and the softness of the flour tortilla. I paired with it the fried Brussels sprouts to get another veggie into my meal. Though I do love very charred sprouts, there was a hint of bitterness. I may have needed more lime to cut that. The jalapeño mayo was good. But I think tossing it in pork fat is the way to go with Brussels sprouts to really pump up the flavor. I'm not sure what oil they fry it in. I think I'll stick to their sweet potato fries, which never disappoints. It's always busy there, but it's never too difficult to find a place to sit. It's shared seating, with long tables inside and large tables outside. But my friend and I took it to go so we can have dinner with the show. And the timing was perfect - we didn't wait too long to get our order and we arrived about 20mins before the band started. The quality of Gott's has been consistent over the years across their locations. So it's a tried and true place to get a delicious meal.
