three bottles of beer on a table

Great place to hang out with friends! Went on a Saturday night and it was lively but not overly crowded or hectic. Bartender was nice and answered any questions we had about the beers. We tried their IPA on tap, dark lager, and two of the saisons (original and strawberry). Everything was delicious. I normally do not like IPAs but this one was on the lighter end. I do wish they had a slightly larger selection. I love stouts and was disappointed to see they did not have any stouts on their menu. Seems like they do rotate their beers often so will be back! We did not try their food but looks like they often have pop-up restaurants there. There were burgers the night we went, and looks like the following night was going to be BBQ. Location was also good and easy to find street parking.

Olfactory was the perfect spot to grab pre-concert drinks before heading to the Chase Center. My friend and I came Sunday evening around 6:30 pm after parking nearby and it was pretty empty. The space is large and has bar seating as well as high tops. Would be great for groups. I'm not a huge beer person and usually try to go for a cider or wine at breweries if available, but here they only offer beer as everything is brewed on-site. There's a selection of 10 beers to choose from, so we each tried one. I got the Loral Tenenbaums and my friend had the Easy Tiger ($8 for a pint). Both were nice and light and made for a great pre-concert drink. Would coming here for a drink if you're in the area!

Dog treats often available by request.

Olfactory Brewing is a welcome and wonderful addition to Dogpatch. First and foremost, the small team is cranking out delicious and exciting beers. From crispy lagers to hoppy ales & malt driven explorations, these guys are making consistently amazing brews. The community vibe is immediately noticeable and you can regularly find local food pop-ups, snacks and artwork on display. Olfactory fills the neighborhood void for anyone seeking a down-to-earth community driven establishment that makes amazing beer. Cheers!

Their service is great. in my observation, the place is ran by just one staff so far. The ambiance is good. Though I have to mention the place smells a lil funky sometimes- could be not much ventilation or something, overall it's still a good place to hang out with friends.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm. Bar was busy but still several seats were still available along the window. Drink: 7-8 beers on draft all brewed by Ol Factory. The menu was made up of Pilsner, IPA, and Lagers on my visit. Wilson! West Coast Pilsner - pretty good, light crisp and refreshing, notes of lemon and a nice slightly malty flavor Velveteen Czech Style Pilsner - also good, relatively light but with a slightly bitter hoppy finish Service, no servers just order and pay at the bar. Overall nice to see the triple voodoo space as another brewery. Beers were solid, but nothing too unique, a good spot for a dependable beer. The bar had lots of board games so definitely a place you can hang out for the afternoon. Also note no food served onsite during my visit but looks like they do have pop ups occasionally.

Nice to see a new brewery open up at the old Triple Voo Doo brewery location. The couple of beers I tried were good quality and the beer tender was friendly and welcoming. I'll need to look out for more of their beer

I was very happy to stumble upon this cute brewery in the Dogpatch on a rainy day! They had a very cozy ambience with plenty of seating--plus they are totally dog friendly--which was great since I was with my pup!! Although their beers are fairly standard (no crazy flavors), you can tell they are extremely high-quality and brewed with passion. Of the four we sampled, the Zaftik Fuzzy IPA and Lamp Industry Black Lager were our favorites. Will definitely come back again to this place soon.

So glad we've got this spot in the neighborhood! Great beers, really friendly people hanging out and working the bar, and there's a free two player pac-man table. Can't ask for more than that! A few TVs on the wall, cozy vibes, and good music on the stereo. Lots of options from ales and IPAs to dark beers and interesting fermentations.

Here's what we noticed: - Great vibe when we arrived...Busy with lots of people, but still some seating at the large number of picnic tables. There's also some outside patio seating in the front. - My wife and I split a flight of beer, which they provide in three 6 ounce pours. We especially liked their Hazy IPA, but the Oktoberfest was very good too. The bartender said their Kolsch is a bit of a classic, and we liked it too, but it wasn't a stand out to us. I later got a 10 ounce pour of their IPA and felt like that was the best of all. The best part is that you couldn't go wrong with any of the beers. - We got chips and guacamole from the taco truck guy located inside next to the bar...You pay by cash, and we got a big container of chips and a humongous couple of scoops of guac for $9. It was just what we needed to go with our beers! Bottom line: if we lived in the area, we'd go back to Standard Deviant for sure!

I know here is SF and this type of behavior is common now. But this place is counter-order only and they only got like 2 servers. So I have to walk over to the counter, wait in line, order my 14 oz beer and small burger with fries, then you charge me a random 5% because it was too hard integrate this to your regular prices. Also, as the usual sneakiness of all of these places, that 5% is added after the tax, which makes it effectively more than 5%. - And as for the cherry on top, they let dogs go and sit on chairs indoors. Having dogs indoors is already a CA health violation, but here is SF, so what you gonna do. But having dogs on chairs is just another level. - Finally, on the only nice note about this place, the kitchen staff looked very on point and clean. Burgers not so much though.

Remembering that he had been wanting to check out 21st Amendment for some years now, I suggested that we go here. DJ was immediately sold. After calling two to three times to no avail, we temporarily parked nearby, so that DJ could walk in to check if they were still open and serving dinner. Thankfully, they were open, but they didn't hear the phone ring. We reparked, then arrived shortly before 7:30 PM and were seated immediately. I had been at 21st Amendment before for a very enjoyable lunch with some colleagues back in November, 2019 and the place looked exactly how I remembered it. Venue: 4 stars. With concrete floors and walls with wooden tables and chairs & benches, the restaurant has a rustic and industrial air. Upon entry, patrons are greeted by the bar with seating and its attendants. They have an open kitchen from where the cooks can nod greetings to you. The entire space, including the women's restroom is kept clean & tidy. DJ's only complaint was that he did not enjoy some of the techno music that would play in between the salsa and reggaeton songs both of which I was totally digging. Food: 3 stars. In addition to the TALL HAT that DJ ordered and fully enjoyed, below-listed are the food items that we had. Soup of the Day, Gumbo ($7 cup) - I was given a couple of complimentary slices of toasted bread to accompany my New Orleans stew which were nice to dip in the broth and eat. I'm not quite sure what kind of meat was used, but there was no sausage. 21st Amendment's version of gumbo is more like a soup rather than a stew as the broth was not as thick as usual. The flavour was still good, but I did wish that there was okra. When I was at the bottom of the cup and asked how I liked the gumbo, I commented that I enjoyed it, but was surprised that it was completely absent of rice. Our server, Luis, went back to the kitchen to inquire, returned, informing me that the kitchen admitted to forgetting it, so with a new cup including rice in hand, he served the second serving to me and comped the cup from our bill. Wow, I was very impressed by how the matter was handled. Veggie Burger ($16) with Garlic Fries ($2) - DJ said that the sriracha flavour of the aioli was light/faint. He would have preferred a little more punch of spice from the condiment. The garlic fries were not bad. Baja Fish Tacos with mixed greens ($19) - The two tacos were very generous in portions and the fish were perfectly fried golden. I found the cod to be fishy in taste, so I gave my second taco to DJ. He did not notice any fishy flavour which is very interesting because he is a vegetarian and I expected him to notice it much more than I did. Weird. Meat Lover's PIZZA ($20) - We ordered two of these twelve inch pies for to-go for the boys. Both said that they were good. Service: 5 stars. As I mentioned before, Luis was our waiter and he delivered stellar service. As a former server, myself, I noticed immediately the excellent care we were given by him. The entire night, I kept commenting to DJ on every moment that Luis demonstrated his top-notch customer service. We will definitely need to come back...when Luis is working!
