Their BBQ Pizza = AWESOME!!! Love the setup at this place. I'm always a fan of outside seating but sadly it was way too hot to sit out there but it's nice to know it's there when we come back. The girl who took our order up at the counter was very nice and patient while we considered what we wanted. They have a lot of pizza options so it's hard to decide what to try, but of course I wanted the BBQ. It's one of the best BBQ pizzas I've had and I already want to come back for another! Spending the Memorial weekend in Reno and wanted some pizza. We had it delivered to our hotel with 2 other families. The pizza came pretty quick and the price was very reasonable, $27 for a large pizza and wings! The only down side I would say about the pizza was it was very greasy and hard to eat because food the grease. I wanted to update my review. After posting the review about the pizza bring too greasy to eat. I was contacted through yelp about my review. Not only did they apologize, they sent a free pizza to our hotel. And shoutout for being one of the few businesses in town that still has your own delivery guys. After having two Postmates orders cancelled on us (one more than 2 hours after we placed it), it was refreshing to be able to directly support a local business, get food, and know that locals are backing it, not some corporate app. I felt dumb for not realizing it sooner. We've had Pizza from here a couple times and it's consistently good. The convenience factor--late delivery, location, ability to enjoy it there or next door at the brewery is probably the greatest advantages. They have some good pizza concoctions on their menu but a lot of the options repeat themselves with one ingredient change (example: BBQ pizza or BBQ Hawaiian pizza). Pizzas are offered in three sizes, 12", 14" and 16". The 12" is a good personal pizza with some leftovers. I do like that they have an alfredo sauce but wish they also had a pesto. Gluten free crust would also be awesome. I wouldn't consider this my go-to pizza place, but it's definitely good and convenient and wroth checking out if you're next door at the brewery, or looking for late night food. read more

First let me apologize for the lack of photos. It isn't because the food wasn't good, more so that I had starving children and we didn't get a chance to take the pics. We LOVED it!!!!!!! Skipping the pizza this trip, I ordered wings and pasta for the family. Not disappointed at all. Wing were sauced perfectly, not too much, not to little. The Thai chili sauce was our favorite, but the mild buffalo was great also. But the winning portion of the wings was the ranch dipping sauce. I am not sure what made it so special but I am pretty sure my youngest would have just drank it straight if he was allowed. It honestly rivaled pizza plus ranch, and that is our favorite. The consistency was a little thinner than pizza plus which I really enjoyed. The only thing I would have changed about our trip, was that I wished they would have put a little more sauce on the pasta. We chose to have it served in bread bowls (who doesn't want carbs, served to you in carbs?), that being said the bread absorbs a lot of the sauce leaving the pasta just a little bland. I was so happy to see that there was another late night option opening up in Midtown. Plus--they delivery!! This is huge for me! When I'm looking for a quick delivery option I will almost always choose Pizzava since it is local. There are also a lot of unique combination options. The Chicken Alfredo is one of my faves!! The pizza overall is good but not so unique that I feel the need to tell everyone about it. It's affordable and easy and the combos are beyond what is typically offered. I've experienced delivery to my home, delivery to a local brewery for a birthday party, pickup, and dine-in. I highly recommend delivery!! It is super simple to place your order online or over the phone. The delivery drivers are on top of it and super friendly! It's always a bonus when the driver can find my front door-it's a little confusing on a house-turned-duplex unit. However, every employee that I have interacted with in-store has been unfriendly, unaccommodating, and unknowledgeable about the menu/loyalty program/etc. It honestly seems like they don't even realize that they are supposed to be providing the customer with service. Best cauliflower crust in town! Pizzava always hooks me up with an amazing gluten friendly pizza and a bonus is that it's made on a veggie crust - extra nutrition! Pizzava is super consistent too. They always get my order right, it's hot, fresh and delicious every time. And I challenge you to find a crispier cauliflower crust! Me and my boyfriend just moved to Reno, NV and we realized that not much food resturaunts are open past 9pm. This devastated us as we were pretty late eaters, then I discovered Pizzava through yelp. We came around 1pm, the staff was so nice and funny, the food came super fast, and the food was super delicious. Ever since that night, me and my boyfriend would get pizza at Pizzava, especially their hawaiian pizza and bbq wings. These two combined is the greatest combination of all time and I still need to try the rest of the menu. If there was one thing that I have to remember about living in Reno is my late night trips to Pizzava and the memories that come with it. This place popped up in my facebook feed as an add. I must say I am a Pizza snob and very picky. I have been known to fly to Chicago for a deep dish and fly home in same day. This is not deep dish, but it is DAMN good. Ordered for delivery to work and it was delivered speedy quick and piping hot. Dinner - I love pepperoni pizza and the #10 is a double pepperoni. You could not see the cheese with layers of pepperoni. The red sauce was so light I wonder if it was actually there. The dough was little thicker than a New York style pizza. Crushed red peppers and oregano shakers are with the paper plates. Wish they had the shakers on the table. Service - Welcome when I came in. Really bad pizzas compared to all pizza chains I have ever tried, even compared to frozen pizzas. Little to no cheese, the thinest layer of sauce painted on, and canned toppings, for $25!? Frozen pizzas are way better and at a fraction of the price. Pizzava is worthless for the money, just really disappointing. I absolutely love this place! I first tried the pizza at a Yelp event and I've been in flavor paradise ever since. I live a bit too far for delivery at my house, but it's perfect when I want a slice or two at work. The last two times, I needed to order in advance since I wouldn't be the one at the door at the time. I was able to use their website to say what time I wanted the pizza and where to deliver it. There is a "no- contact" option which I appreciate. My favorite (so far) is the Spicy Hawaiian. It's the perfect blend if sweet pineapples and spicy jalapenos. The pepperoni adds its own kick. This place has been open little more than a month so I found a time to give it a try about 2 pm on a Monday. It's in a very odd location in midtown on Virginia and Mary. Not much seating inside and no real interior design so it looks like they want to make the business more about take out and delivery. We were the only ones eating in but we saw two take outs and a delivery while we were on site. Lots of interesting pizza to choose from on the menu - including breakfast pizza. One thing I did not see was build your own. We ordered a buffalo chicken. The service was friendly and the pizza was prepared and delivered pretty quickly. Crust and toppings were good. Can't complain at all about the product; however, it's also didn't really "wow" us. Good, but not great. I guess if you live in this area you have a very solid choice for take out. Living in NW Reno, it's really hard to beat the quality of Pizza Plus, even thought their service consistently sucks. If you live in the area I do recommend you give them a try! read more

This place is new to midtown and I definitely think it is going to do well. The pizza is solid and they have a bunch of different types to choose from or build your own. I took off a star because they don't do slices and they are right next to a bar and brewery. Drunk people want slices!!! The pizza is good though and a decent price. Terrible experience overall. First my pizza was delivered to the wrong building and room. Then I called the store and was told they could get another one delivered to me but I would have to wait over 1 hour. I call back an hour later and the guy says sorry but we didn't make it or send out for delivery so we will have to just refund you. We had no dinner and waited so long. If they weren't going to actually make it or deliver it then they could have been honest in the first place so we would have a chance to find ourself some dinner.
