Simple order, of the following: 1 regular slice, 1 sicillian slice and something else that I can't recall but I believe they were potato croquettes that weren't too bad. Anyways I asked for my sicilian slice to be heated up, i was then told that It's hot enough and was handed the slice on the tray with no say in the matter... Paid my tab, sat down and bit into a soggy luke warm slice with no flavor... Return to the counter ask for the slice to be heated up, get and attitude, heats it up for no more than 20-30 seconds hands it back to me again soggy and gross. End result threw everything in the trash except for my diet coke and left unsatisfied, hungry and annoyed. read more

My husband and I ordered a stuffed artichoke and a chicken cutlet parm platter for delivery on a Saturday night, a little before 8pm. OMG!!! The artichoke was barely stuffed, under cooked and they didn't clean above the heart. It was still furry!!! They charged $10 for that. The sauce wasn't good either. Disappointed we moved on to the cutlet. It had an old texture to it and I'm not even sure it was chicken. Absolutely awful. This restaurant used to have really good food. It was always expensive but when there is quality it is worth it. This wasn't worth it. Unfortunately, this was the second time I had a problem with the delivery. I enjoy the food but i do not like the owner raising the prices too frequently and they charge 1.50 delivery charge which he doesn't give to the delivery person. Why???? I hate greedy owners. So i have to give an extra 5 dollars instead of 3 for the driver. Add that 1.50 by the amount of deliveries he is doing a week And its really just a way of robbing the customers !!! This place was pretty good. We were a table of 8 on a Sunday night. We ordered the avocado salad, linguini with clam sauce, grilled veggies, calamari,and a pasta and meat dish. That was just the appetizers. The calamari was delicious and had just enough spice( I even learned I like areibiatta sauce). Everything else was delicious!! The veggies were grilled to perfection and you could taste the char on them!! We ordered a pizza too. It was fabulous. My main dish was the grilled chicken primavera. Didn't check on us throughout the entire meal, and we had to flag her down for water refills. She was nice, just not available. The wait for our meals was long and I know it's not her fault, but it's frustrating when you see people come in after you, eating and you're still waiting for your meal. I've probably eaten here over fifty times but never again! There was a hair in my soup. A friend of mine just told me that there was a hair in his Ceasar salad last week,gross. The owner, who was fully aware and has known my family for years didn't even bother to come over to apologize. The chicken parmigiana was like rubber, it was not even chewable. They have some really good slices of specialty pizza and always have a nice variety to chose from. I've never sat in the back and had waiter service, but rather always order at the counter and find a booth on the side to sit down. Their rice balls are excellent and they make a prosciutto and fresh mozzarella panini that is awesome. Potato croquettes are also worth a try. read more

My wife and I went on last night for dinner. It was crowded for a Monday night and we were seated within 5 mins. However after taking our order we ate lots of the great tasting garlic bread because the food took about 20-25 mins to come out. But honestly it was worth the wait! The food was steaming hot just the way I like my food! My wife ordered the Penne Pizzaiola which was diced filet mignon, fresh ground veal and mushrooms sauteed in a sherry wine and plum tomato sauce, served over penne. She LOVED it and there was so much she had to take much of it home! ( can't forget about all the bread we ate) I ordered the Baked Penne Sicilana with Fresh Battered Eggplant and added sliced sausage to it (for $5). Amazing is all I can say and like my with wife, I had to take half home because I could not finish! I can't wait to eat the leftovers for lunch! I have been coming here for years, at least once a week. Tonight I had the worst experience ever!! I dont mind waiting but when you sit 4 tables before me because of a baby carraige that I have an issue with. Clearly the 1st table sat could have accomadated the carraige but the young girls were more interested in sitting in sections instead of servicing the patrons waiting. There were 3 hostess at the stand not one seemed to know what they were doing. All young girls with probably no experience. The manager couldnt even get it together. However, I'm giving only one star because of the lack of taste and flavor. All I tasted was texture--crunch of pizza, oozing of cheese and mush of veggies. The slices were too hot to detect any flavor or nuance thereof and even after doctoring them with garlic powder, red pepper flakes and salt, it was still only mildly flavorful. Pizzaiola is one of my favorite places! The menu is amazing with many options. They give very big portions and the food is always great. My favorite thing is the rigatoni fiorentina. The cheese is perfectly melted on the pasta. Another good option is chicken francese. The chicken to lemon ratio is just perfect and the chicken melts in your mouth. It is clear to me that a majority of the staff at this establishment has an issue with special needs people. Came in this morning at around 11:15, a time I was under the impression was within normal operating hours. The bald man at the counter was very nice and said they didn't have anything ready yet. So we walked the shopping center and came back. When trying to converse with the guys at the counter, they just blankly looked at the individual I was with (has autism and visible special needs). Why couldn't a hello be answered back with a "hi how are you" instead of a blank stare? (The rest of the people behind the counter- bald man was nice the entire time) I will never know. When we came back I asked if we could sit. He said sure and we sat down at a booth right near the counter. There was a young guy right by us folding boxes. And he saw us sit, three or four people walked by us a handful of times and the manager (I think he was in a polo shirt. Could've been a waiter) was to my left answering the phone. Nobody came to us. I think it was a combination of "not my job title not my problem" and not wanting to "deal with" someone who was special needs. When we got up and left, the man at the counter (who was very nice) looked confused. I asked if they were open and he seemed mad nobody came over to us and apologized. Very upsetting to be overlooked over and over by the many other employees that walked by us. (It is not like we tucked ourselves in the back corner we were in plain sight). Maybe they should spend the money that they are using on renovating the place to be super fancy and have the staff retrained. At least there was one person in there that was nice and doing their job, but being the only people sitting in an empty restaurant and having the rest of the staff overlook you time and time over was so disheartening, and not atypical for being out in the community with someone who has special needs.
