Today I came because of a text "BOGO Wednesday @Pizzatwist Van Buren! Buy any Pizza, get a second Pizza FREE (Equal or lesser value). Valid today only" And for weeks in a row I have been here and gotten 2 small pizzas, then some random guy I don't recognize starts telling me that his manager only wants to honor BOGO for large- I point out the words of the text- And I order less than I had planned to because of his annoying me with his interruption and trying to upsell? For what it's worth, pizza place up the street has had 1/2 price Wednesday pizzas since the pandemic and if I wanted to I would return there but we enjoy this places pizzas more. I thought it tasted authentic, but my wife, who is Indian, thought the pizza lacked flavor. There are many different selections for vegetarians. The pizza tasted good. The Help who worked there were quite accommodating. It did take a while for our food to come out because it was cooked fresh and that's not bad. It's set up in a fast food style. You order your meal. Went for Pizza with my husband this weekend and it was sooo good. The ambience was super relaxing and the outdoor seating was perfect with the sunny weather. We got the large supreme pizza (8 slices), fries, and a Coke. Everything was delicious and tasted super fresh. I literally planned to have just one slice but ended up eating four it was that good!!! I ordered a butter chicken pizza over the phone on a weekday evening, and the pickup experience itself went smoothly. Friendly staff and a nice dine in area with a selection of desserts on display. The environment was extremely clean. The pizza looked great--fresh, hot, and visually appealing. The dough was cooked perfectly, with a great texture and color. Unfortunately, the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. The pizza was heavily overpowered by garlic, to the point where it threw the whole balance off. One slice even had a large chunk of garlic with the stem still attached, which was a bit surprising. Upon trying an individual piece of chicken, it was beautifully cooked, and not dry in the slightest bit. Quality of the Pizza crust is the foundation for a good pizza along with pizza sauce. Their pizzas lack in both. Pizza crust was definitely not fresh hand made. It tasted more like ready made crusts available in refrigerated section of local grocery stores. The sauce tasted salty, more like canned. The toppings separated from crust easily during consumption. The food is amazing. It came out piping hot, just the way we like it! We got the mega meal which is such a great deal. The naan that came with it had great flavor. We also ordered the Bombay Garlic Chicken Pizza. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They understood that we wanted plant based cheese, but we didn't want the plant based chicken substitute - we wanted actual chicken. This is because I'm dairy free, not vegetarian. Tried both naan twist and pizza twist multiple times. Naan twist is honestly very low quality food saturated in spices. Doesn't taste anything like Indian food. It's fast food quality at best. Have tried their butter chicken, paneer, tried all the burgers just not very good. If a good pizza joint pops up in our local area you're competing with Vianos, Tommy salamis, Mountain Mike's, Dematteos and Pizza Place. Haven't been to pizza place or Dematteos in a long while as they changed names in the past years. For starters, the new pizza twist was not the best experience for me. The pizza was just OK 4 out of 10 and the pineapple seemed to be sour like bad, we removed them from all of our pizza and hoping i'm not going to get sick. My daughter said the pizza had a funny taste. And it definitely came from the pineapple. But overall, it did taste a little funny. I wish pizza twist would have been just a normal pizza place, it felt a little strange inside. After trying all these pizza places I believe I'm going to say that Tommy salamis is the best but expensive, very expensive and very thin like it weighs nothing. I think I'm gonna try pizza place, It used to be scoreboard pizza and it was really good. To conclude this post i have to say that out of all these pizza places they're still isn't one great one.
