I placed a pretty big order via DoorDash (I didn't realize that party pizzas were HUGE, I thought they were normal size large) and the gentleman probably had some trouble getting to my place due to gates. Two huge pizzas and two bags with other items on top of it. He was so kind regardless of his probable struggle. I noticed that two two-liters of soda haven't arrived and the DoorDash app's ONLY option was to cancel the whole order. I didn't want to cancel the whole order as that would take away the store's revenue and my nice driver's tip so I called the store. I asked them if they could just remove the soda from the order but they insisted that they bring them to me. The two people I talked to on the phone were once again SO nice. A driver named David came to bring the two soda bottles and yet again I was met with kindness even though it was probably a pain to drive just for some soda. Thank you to everyone at Marcello's, genuinely. A pizza delivery helped me look at the world a little bit differently. Sounds cheesy but, it's true. TL:DR -- the food was also really, really good. Good quality, good price. Will continue to support

Experience: Walked in, it's just a counter and a kitchen. It seemed pretty clean inside. The service was very friendly (the star is for the service). We ordered a large one topping (pepperoni) for 17 dollars and change with tax. The price is high, but that's okay, we are expecting a homemade pizza that tastes better than Little Caesar's or Dominoes. We came back in 15 minutes and it was ready. Pizza: Crust was thin, but not at all in a "delicious-crispy-pizza-oven-crust-kind-of-way". The dough was dense and extremely rubbery and hard to chew. I think the dough was either old, poorly made with wrong flour to water ratios, or very over-proofed. Sauce: not very much of it, not very flavorful. Hard to taste. Cheese: not much at all. Several pieces seem to have no cheese in the middle or top, just wet dough. Pepperoni: okay tasting, lots of it, very greasy Bake: Very over-baked to the point of blackness. I'm pretty bummed. I want to ask them to remake it and give them another try, but if the dough is the same, I'm not sure it's worth it? I'm sorry to say, but LIttle Caesar's Pizza is way better than this. And that's not saying much.

This is my favorite local pizza spot, hands down. I wish I lived closer! Slice House is known for…read moretheir by-the-slice pizzas which come quick and hot in 4 different styles (new york, Detroit, Sicilian, and grandma style). The ingredients on all the pizzas I've had so far always taste a step above most other pizza spots. This is certainly the highest quality quick casual pizza place I know for sure. I usually get two slices as I'm a big guy, but honestly just one slice a drink would probably be good enough for most people. My favorite which they have every time is the "Wise Guy" which comes with pepperoni, two types of sausage, chili oil, ricotta dollops, and green onion. The crispy under crust might be the secret to making it a 10/10 pizza in my book. I also got the "traditional" this time which was a pepperoni and sausage Sicilian style pizza on fat square slice of foccocia bread. It's not as good as the wise guy, but the meat and cheese on soft fluffy bread is a killer combination. My friend got the chicken bacon ranch, another New York style slice. I wasn't as big a fan, but I I'm not usually a fan of chicken pizzas as it is so I'm sure others would still love it. He definitely did! The service is always quick and great and the slices cost between $6-9 if I recall correctly, which isn't bad for slices of this size and quality in my opinion. Note, I have been to a location at Universal City Walk which was way more expensive so the prices can change drastically based on location. Overall this place needs to be in your rotation if you like quick, quality pizza. I spread the word whenever I can!
