I've really wanted to try Pizza Tugos for a while. We were passing by this one so we stopped. As it turns out, I still really want to try Pizza Tugos because we waited for an hour and the food still had not come out. I think they had one kid working the whole restaurant. We waited a while for our drinks initially, then he never brought refills even after being asked to. He also only brought silverware for two of us even though we had three people in our party. A couple in the booth in front of us ended up having to get water from the bar while they waited for their own drinks. Another employee eventually came out of the back to help the one waiter clean up tables. This place is in WAY over their heads. They obviously need more help but that's not our problem. We paid the bartender for the ice teas, and more of a tip than the kid deserved, and left without even getting our food. We will never be back. There was no excuse for this horrible service. I'd give them zero stars if I could. I do still want to try Pizza Tugos. Just not this one. read more

Our server Alicia was the best thing about the meal. She was great! It's a bar sort of place with loud music, so know that going in if you are going to try them. The Thai chili wings were just ok. Two insides and the rest drummies. They were dry. The pizza, well the best thing I can say is it had a lot of meat. Otherwise it tasted like the oven had been burning and there was a smoke flavor. Wasn't worth the cash for sure. We did not take the leftover pizza or wings. It was one and done for us. Will not be back for more. read more

We had planned to grab some groceries on our first night in town and then stop for tacos on the island. But, as it happens, my wife had a craving for pizza, so we ended up here. Unfortunately, this is what happens when you don't get a chance to check Yelp or other reviews first--we ended up with mediocre pizza that cost a small fortune. I understand that everything in Ocean City is on the pricier side, but given what we paid here, I was genuinely surprised--especially now that I've seen what other spots offer for the same or less. On the plus side, the bar area was nice, and the bartenders were attentive. Beer prices were about average for the area. If this were the only option, sure, we'd go back. But I'm confident there's much better pizza to be found in town. read more

We have been ordering Pizza Tugo's as a late night snack regularly for about 10 years. The pizza is still delicious but the wings are horrible! Last night we ordered 60 wings, 3 different flavors. The 2- 10 piece old bay wing orders had so much old bay on them that you could hardly eat them. They forgot all of our sauces. A little ranch or blue cheese might have made them tolerable. The one 10 piece old bay had two of the points of the wing counted as wings and the mild wings just looked gross. I called to tell them about the substandard food and they apologized but only offered to give me sauce if we came back to get it. Lesson learned! Only order pizza! read more

During my family (of 8) visit to the restaurant we enjoyed our experience overall. The food took about 30min to come out and was not seasoned well. Two family members ordered burger platters and were satisfied. My buffalo chicken wrap was ok, as was my sister in laws chicken cesar salad wrap. They needed more seasoning in my opinion and were bland. The venue is spacious and family friendly. The waitress AJ was very friendly and helpful to everyone and was patient. They made an error on my carryout pizza as a vegetarian, glad i looked first it had pork pepperoni on it . I would have been sick on the way home eating in the dark. They decided to refire my pizza accordibg to my order, onions & double cut, but didn't ask nor care despite the additional wait time if an order of fries would make up for the inconvenience but pizza was good. The waitress was kind and that was all that was pleasant. The food came out in a timely manner and that was about the only other good thing we could say. when it was time to eat we weren't given no plates or silverware because they were still running in the dishwasher and we were told that they did not allow us to have paper plates. Aftee asking twice were told we could get some paper plates to eat off of. The poor waitress apologized and said the dishwasher was still cleaning all of the utensils as well as the plates. The ceiling had disgusting mold tiles on top & it makes me question what the kitchen looks like and if this business will be staying in business. read more

I had the WORST experience with this company. DO NOT recommend at all. It took over 3 hours for delivery- I tried to cancel numerous times- even went there and couldn't get anyone to help. Now, I'm expected to pay for food that I didn't get that they attempted to deliver at 1:15am- WELL past the estimated delivery time. For full transparency- below is the email I sent AND their reply. Me: I placed an order yesterday 5/18/25 at 1030pm and was quoted a 30-45 minute delivery. At 1130p I started calling (15+ times) to get an update on the order and every time I called it would hang up on me. At 1145 I went to the store to see if I could just get my pizzas and was told by a VERY rude bartender that my order could not be changed and that a manager will NOT come out and talk to me and that I had call the order number. At 1:15AM the driver starts BANGING on my hotel door- 3 hours after I ordered!! I told him to take the pizza back- we no longer wanted it. I called this morning and was told by Diana the "manager" that it wasn't her problem and all complaints and refund request have gone be sent via email. This is NOT the first time I have had issues with your restaurant- but I promise it will be the last time. Your west ocean city's lack of customer service and unprofessionalism is such a bad representation of your brand- and I'm local to Delmarva so I had been here throughout the year and NOT just here on a once a year vacation. Absolutely do not recommend this place. A few weeks ago, I lost my wallet at this pizza shop. When we called, we were told it wasn't there, but when I stopped by recently just to double-check, things took a really disturbing turn. The manager--who gave off very unsettling vibes--completely overreacted when I asked about my wallet. One of the employees actually recognized it and was about to hand it to me, but the manager snatched it out of their hands and started accusing me of fraud, loudly and aggressively, in front of staff and customers. I had all the info to prove it was mine: I knew the name, birthday, address, and everything that was inside. Still, he called me a fraud and refused to return it at first. Even more disturbing, he started taking pictures of my face, my wallet, and even when I scrolled through my gallery and photographed parts of my phone gallery while I was trying to pull up a photo of my ID for proof. He told me, "I hope you don't mind a stranger knowing your address," and claimed the photos were "for my protection." It felt threatening and predatory. I honestly believe he may have been filming me too--it seemed like he was trying to provoke a reaction. Thankfully, I did eventually get my wallet back, but the experience was incredibly upsetting. I left the store in tears and broke down in the car. I've never felt so violated and unsafe over something as simple as trying to reclaim my lost property. To be fair, when I visited previously, the wait staff were kind and the food was actually pretty good--which makes this even more disappointing. I don't know if this man owns the business or is just managing it, but either way, I wouldn't feel safe going back. There are plenty of other pizza places in the area with better service and a safer environment. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. read more

Ordered from Pizza Tugos, even though the overall reviews were not that great. The location was super convenient to our hotel and we were short on time, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered pizza, fries and one of the double burgers. Let's start with the good. The food was ready on time and was hot at pickup. The burger was super tasty, like one of the better burgers I have had in some time. Unfortunate, if though it was a double, it was kinda small for the price. I could've eaten a couple of them with no problem. Unfortunately , the pizza was really not very good at all. The sauce was bland and the crust was floppy and tasted like a dry cracker. I would have preferred Dominoes to this pizza. If we were not in a time crunch, we definitely timely would have researched better options. Oh and the fries were average at best. Now I totally expected this order to take a while because I was sure numerous other people were ordering. I ordered 1 pizza and an order of French fries. Two hours go by as I was sitting outside my hotel room and no one showed up. So I call the pizza Tugos number and wait on an answering service, finally someone answers and I give my info, they said my order is on the way. Mind you I'm two blocks, TWO BLOCKS from this pizza joint! Wait a little while longer and no one shows up. I take my half sober self and stumble to the pizza place and am told "we didn't get an order for you, you'll have to call the number for a refund but we're closed now, Goodluck man". The reason I ordered delivery and didn't just walk there myself is because I was consuming alcoholic beverages with friends and a nice pizza is all I wanted without having to play frogger on coastal highway. Anyway I called the number SIX times that night and no one answered (they're advertised as "open 24hours"). So I am angry and go to bed instead of creating a scene at the pizza place. The next day I call and speak with a very nice young man who understood my frustration and said I should get a refund within the next two days. I'll keep Yall updated if I do get one or not. They charged my card $45.00 and I received no food and had to eat a cold pancake in my fridge sober up. Had the kid I talked to the next day been rude this would probably be a completely different review. Don't get me wrong. I'm still upset I didn't get my pizza and will probably never order from this place again. From other reviews I've read apparently this happens a lot. I've been going to Ocean City for probably 20 years and have made friends with some of the locals. I've had Pizza Tugos multiple times over the years and never once had an issue until this year. Maybe this was all a overload of orders or a website issue but they should up their customer service skills and/or be prepared for an increase in order's when Ocean City has an event. My family and I were a bit hungry after spending several hours at Baja Sports across the street and with 3 teenage boys along, pizza seemed like a no brainier. Restaurant is filthy, staff is rude. Took forever to get food that even teenagers wouldn't eat. Bathrooms were gross, the way staff was in/out of them no way the could have been washing their hands! Here's a tip: when you have a large table we DON'T want to sit in front /near the smelly bathrooms. This place really needs a health inspector to go in like ASAP. So, I had been hyping up this place even though we've both been there at different times. However, I'd always eaten at the one on the other end of Ocean City. Classic. On family vacation we usually hit up PT when we need a break from seafood, even though I want to try the crab pizza. I remember PT was the first spot I went to that had the enormous soda fountain machine where you can choose basically any mixture. And, they had a bar top that was live edge wood with a coating on top. The first time I ever ordered there Cheeseburger pizza, was the last time I ever ordered anything different from there. I absolutely love it and I need to know the brand and type of cheese that's used - I may try to make it. Although I have been there several times, I am reviewing my latest time there. When you bring up 10 to 14 people and brag about how great a place this is just to have them prove that it now sucks.. And service was awful, Kaitlyn was slow, no personality, not accomodating, forgot to check on us, got no refills NOTHING . First night in OC and the 5 of us decided to stop here. Hostess(??) looked at us, asked how many, and stared as if we said 35 instead of 5. The drunk lady at the bar should've been my first indication this was not a good idea because she was all over the restaurant. She was lingering in the front doorway and the staff paid no mind to her. We were seated next to the bathroom which is generally not a big deal but the layout was such that we were 5 feet from the bathroom doors and people were squeezing by us and our chairs to get to there. We waited 15 minutes and watched 4 waitresses walk past us to wait on tables which were seated 5 minutes after us. They received their drinks and placed their order while we still had our menus. Husband noticed a staff member come out of the bathroom without properly washing their hands (being 5 feet from the doors we saw a lot) and then walk into the kitchen. We walked out. No one noticed. Our two couples went to their West Ocean City location the other night and the place was packed. We were patient knowing they didn't have much help so after about 35 minutes someone finally came to our table and took our drink order. When they returned 15 minutes later we knew we better place our food order quickly if we wanted to eat that night. Placed the order for a couple of pizzas and appetizers. 30+ minutes later the food arrived......Food was OK but when we paid our bill, I asked if they accepted the local fire department member discount card which the waiter stated they did. He brought our bill and my wife paid it with her credit card. The next day I was posting my credit card charges on my computer and when looking at the Tugos charge my bill for my wife and I was $55.00 which I thought was very high for one 16 " plain pizza, one nachos appetizer, 1 light beer, and one water. Next I noticed they charge a credit card processing fee plus a 20% tip charge. Now I know we had two couples and the other couple had two kids but we were never told that they were automatically adding the 20% tip. Needless to say without knowing this the other couple and ourselves left a very nice tip on the charge ticket also. In the end, the waiter that after waiting a hour and half for 2 pizzas and a couple of appetizers and then never coming back to see us until it was time for our check made almost $50.00 combined tips for his service........Not only that, they never gave us the local firemens discount as they first said they would? Today, my wife went back over to ask their manager about not being told about the overcharging of the tips, the credit card processing fees, and not getting the firemens discount. You know what, the manager didn't care less and was not willing to make any adjustments. We didn't really want any monies back but thought he would at least say they were sorry for the misunderstanding and the long wait for service or even offer us a free pizza for the next time we would come in but NO, he offered nothing.
