Called today during business hours to place a quick pick up order. They told me they were closed (but the posted hours said otherwise). When I told them I thought they were open until 9:00 she, extremely rudely told me they are trying to close up. Bad for business to close early, and bad for business to be rude to me when I inquire about their closing time. Next! Plenty of pizza places in town who want my money, clearly the owners don't have people working there who take care of their business. read more

This was TERRIBLE my dad and I had ordered delivery and we got the wrong food. We were supposed to get boneless wings with a pizza sub without ham and wanted sausage. We got bone-in wings with a pizza sub with ham and no sausage. We called back and said they would give a discount on the sub but wouldn't for the wings. Most places would at least give a discount on both. I do not suggest this for anyone and will not order again. read more

I've yet to order anything I didn't like from here. The gyro pizza is a must try! I also really prefer their regular cheese pizza (not the specialty one). It's just a perfect balance of crust, sauce and cheese. Can get pricy quick though. read more

Without a doubt the worst beef sandwich ever. In the past 4+ months I had 2 beef sandwiches and still have to say how horrible they were. The beef is sliced beef instead of shredded beef like Chicago style. Only had 2 slices of beef on the sandwich and hardly any mozzarella cheese. Pretty much all breading. Stay away from sandwiches.. Oh wow! This place is fantastic. We tried going there last Sunday but they didn't open till 4pm. We went yesterday. Fairly small restuarant but very clean and nice atmosphere. They have thin, regular and thick crust. We got the regular, but I didn't see much differance between the thin & thick. We ordered Italian sausage, black olive and fresh mushrooms. We got the x-large. It was out of this world. Really good. Only $17. We will definitely be back. read more

Always a great idea! Stopped in Saturday afternoon lunch specials available Monday thru Saturday. Cheese breadsticks look like cheese pizza with choice of sauce on the side. Beautiful salads. Pretty good pizza but surprisingly there's quite a bit of competition in tiny downtown Niles for pizza. I would eat it again, and enjoy it, but if given the option, I would probably pick one of the other downtown Niles pizza joints. read more

I'm not a huge pizza fan except when it comes to Pizza Transit! I highly recommend trying the pizza of the month, they come up with interesting pizzas that taste great! My personal favorites were the Loaded Baked Potato and the French Dip (obviously only available for a month, but boy were they memorable). In addition to great pizzas, they make the most delicious homemade Alfredo sauce- it's a must with the twisted breadsticks. Also, I always order a salad with my pizza and I've tried a few different ones, they are good I just wish they came with tomato- but everything is fresh, I've never had old or soggy vegetables like I have at other places. Fun place to watch a game and enjoy a mouth-watering Pizza, Salad, Calzone, Past or Sub with HUGE soda's! A family atmosphere, brightly lit, and cool decorative themes lead to occasions when you wish they had more seating, but for the money, Pizza Transit provides a good value. This is a long standing locally owned family business that has been passed down from father to daughter. Their calzones are really, really good! Packed full of goodies(you can choose three), then baked golden and brushed with garlic butter. It will fill you up if you're super hungry, or share with a friend, as they're pretty big. Friendly and fast delivery. read more

We're fairly new to the area and we still haven't found that "great, gotta have it" pizza place yet. Although we would be drawn back to Pizza Transit when pizza was on our menu. Honestly we've experienced good, but also not so good pizza from them. It was the good that kept us "trying" them. Although our last experience resulted in a no return policy to them. Order our pizza for pick-up, upon arriving at home, found 1/2 of it burnt. In calling management, they were very defensive and not willing to make this customer happy. In summary, make sure your pizza isn't burnt and customer service was below expected standards. read more

We just ordered 2 pizza's and bread sticks. I specifically asked them to be Lightly Done because they have a habit of burning their pizza's on the bottom. Well, when they were delivered they were almost floating in grease and burned on the bottom. What would have happened if I would have asked for them to be cooked Well Done?
