The fries were soft, oily, and had no spice or flavor. The bruschetta was piled into a box, the bruschetta bread slices were barely toasted, and came saturated with oil and vinegar. The the sautéed spinach tasted like it was originally cooked a day ago and again way too much oil. The onion rings were warmed up, but not at all crispy which made me think that they were probably made earlier and just reheated. The Panini was... ok. Maybe the cook was having a bad day. I'll try them again in a few weeks and see if anything improves.. this place has done better in the past and I'm sure it can do better than this. read more

Not a one star because the food actually came out but if you want to pay 20 dollars per pie and have all the cheese come off right away don't come here. read more

Chicken cilantro slice was phenomenal, along with the garlic knots. My husband got the Greek salad slice and really like liked it as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will for sure be back. read more

Service does not get much worse than this. We should have known when we sat down for dinner seeing all the empty tables. The waitress seemed to have difficulty taking our order. We asked for a large salad to split between us and each an entrée. We received two separate large salads with the waitress advising my entrée included a salad. In most other restaurants the server would tell you this while taking the order. If we knew, we would have not ordered the separate salad. She neither offered to take it back or off the bill. My wife's eggplant sandwich was served cold. She asked to have it heated in a microwave and it came back a little less cold. My dish was acceptable, just too much. We twice had to flag down the waitress for service and the check. I made the mistake of not actually looking at the detailed receipt until we returned home and found that they charged us $5.98 for two glasses of water! read more

Worst experience. 2 plain slices this afternoon. Greasy mess. No sauce heavy crust. Awful.

I have been in the area since Monday, and hands down, this was the best food we had. I was shocked to see a 2.5 rating--I'm guessing the locals don't care for flavor because that's what was missing for me at the 'recommended' local favorites. And just to be clear, service at ALL the establishments we went to was great, but the seasonings were missing or underwhelming. We had the grilled salmon with sautéed spinach in a lemon sauce, and the chicken parmigiana over Angel hair pasta. The serving sizes were big, and the flavoring on both dishes was excellent. Workers are very friendly and accommodating. And the pricing was more than reasonable. Definitely recommend this place if you're a foodie. read more

Was really in the mood for a delicious well done, sausage, pepperoni, slice... Pizza station did not deliver on this one barely cooked. Disappointed :( read more

Love this place. Order often. Very nice staff & never any problems with our orders. Excellent location & only 2 miles from my home.

The pizza was very delicious, prices were quite high. For 3 pepperoni pizzas it was almost $60.00, as soon as I open the boxes all three pies has the cheese completely OFF the pizza. I called them and told the lady who picked up what happen and she told me there was NOTHING she could do. So for $60 I received sauce crust. I am never going back again. I am disappointed with their customer service. read more

What a fucking shit show. We placed an in person order for delivery at about 9pm...paid and at 10:21pm we are still waiting for food that I'm sure will never arrive. We are literally within walking distance of this place. It's a shame I have to leave this review bc the food was actually pretty good. But to take our order and money and when we called to follow up before they closed they say the driver in route and no fucking driver shows up, you know this is what has to be done. Because now I'm hungry, my two little kids are hungry and so are our friends. Don't think I'll be ordering from the Pizza Station again. Please issue a refund. read more

Their vegetable pizza is delicious! I definitely recommend. The staff was also very friendly!

I was really in the mood for good eggplant parmesan. We are new to the area so figured I would try this place. The eggplant was a disappointment. It was all a breaded pile of nothing and no eggplant! Yuk. Gross. I will never go back. Maybe there pizza is good but not this entree. read more

Came here with a friend of mine today. Had a plain slice, it looked good, came out on a metal pan and was nice and hot. The outside crust was very nicely crispy but the interior (I guess) crust was soggy which I don't particularly care for. They do have a heck of a lot to choose from but I am a plain cheese type of guy. Waitress was incredibly friendly and overall it had a nice ambiance to it. Get the pie a little more crispy and add some salt and pepper to that sauce and your 4+ stars! read more

Every time I've ordered something from here it's been gross. Food is always cold, soggy, very unfresh, and just inedible. Tried giving this place three chances and it's just a complete waste of money and a let down. read more

Don't know why people are voting this place down with low star ratings but my experience has been great albeit I've only ever done delivery through Yelp. Pizza is good, Stromboli is good, salads are good. What else are you expecting from a pizza place? They're good compared to other places I've been to (not in the area). read more

Pizza was decent today. Had a pepperoni and it was pretty good. Only suggestions. Crust was good. Still could be a little crispier. The cheese!!!!! Ok. I love cheese but they use way too much on every pizza. I can't even imagine what extra cheese is. Other than that it was good. I swear they got someone else cooking. read more

When we first moved here from Bergen county this was the closest pizza we can find to pizza we have at home. Unfortunately they've progressively gotten worse. We gave them 4 more tries after we got our first soggy pizza. And each time the cheese was sliding off and it was the sloppiest, floppiest pizza we've ever had. Even when we pick it up. The past two times I've had to put it in the oven on broil to try to crisp it up. We stopped ordering through slice because they don't read the requests that state "extra crispy" or "don't ring bell, leave at doorstep" when we were sick or our baby was sleeping. So we have been calling to place orders so we can specify the directions clearly. And we still don't get what we ask for. I think it's time to revisit another pizzeria in vernon and give them a shot. read more

Longtime customer here & I want to be clear that I like this place. Good Food, very generous portions, good service & it's all good & for many years. I recently went there on a weekend evening with the Mrs, She ordered chicken parm & liked it & I had Eggplant Rollatini. What I got looked more like Eggplant Parm & in no way resembled Rollatini. Many years ago my Bro owned a similar restaurant. He had a golden rule for his cooks that I recommend for Pizza Station. Each nite pick 1 or 2 of the menu's "dinners" & cook them for the staff to share & critique on how to improve it. Always trying to improve on the top shelf menu items. Had this been tried on my order, I'm sure it would have been different. I'll be back, but consider it strike one. read more

We called in pizza told us it would be ready by the time we got here.. needless to say we waited an extra 45 minutes for our food on top of the 20 minutes they quoted us. Never will I order from here again. On a side note CLEAN THE BATHROOMS! They are disgusting and there's bugs in them. Ewwwww read more

Owner has to understand, we all get busy, we all have things that go wrong. But to take it out on the customer, and in my case a regular and good one, is not smart. Pulling an attitude when you went beyond a delivery time by 20 minutes is simply not smart. I'm like the nicest guy in the world, but when I finally called for an estimated delivery time and I hear you won't commit, and in the background mouthing off how I can come pick the order up, well, that as I said just was not smart. And, this was the second time you used your driver as an excuse. Basic rules of business. Don't offer what you can not back up, and second, You are not doing me a favor. Good business is a two way street. read more

Stopped by here after skiing at MountainCreek. It's conveniently down the street. Service was slow, but our server was very nice. The pizza is ok if you like it doughy, but really enjoyed the antipasto salad which had a generous amounts of cold cuts. Place doesn't serve alcohol, but looks like it has a BYOB policy. read more

Went in on impulse, wanted to order a few slices. Went in, watched girl and guy behind counter ignore me while they fiddled with paperwork/register. At no time did they even acknowledge my presence with a "hello, we'll be right with you" or "Im sorry but we are busy." Instead, got nothing. In fact, at one point, one if the workers turned his back to me and ignored me. Such rudeness drives me insane. I never really had any complaints about their food but their delivery radius is bogus. I was told that because I live in Hamburg (Crystal Springs) I had to have a minimum order of $50 for them to deliver...Maybe because it was on a Saturday, COVID, ETC. Food is good enough for me to pick up from now on. If you're in a bind and need it to be delivered, hope that your house is right next door or get ready to pony up some cash.... read more

Went here for take-out last night while on an over night getaway. All was good, but I do have one minor complaint - Young high school student help always drives me a little crazy. Please, learn how to communicate! Talk slower and learn about what you're selling. BUT, I won't hold Pizza Station too responsible for that. We bought two subs: chicken and meatball heroes, and a regular antipasto salad. All was fresh, delicious and good. With a 2 liter bottle of ginger ale and a price tag of $24, we were very satisfied. GO HERE for some good subs and such. Just get an adult to help you and take your order. read more

Not the New York style pizza I was craving, but better than Domino's or Pizza Hut any day. Our group of 5 adults and 3 kids took a table in the back and looked over the menu. They offer the traditional toppings like pepperoni and sausage and even try for the gourmet like a white pizza of ricotta and mozzarella. The menu includes salads and the typical Italian entrees like spaghetti and meatballs, manicotti, lasagna, etc. We went simple with an antipasto, a large pepperoni and sausage, and a large onion, olive, pepper, and mushroom. The antipasto was adequate, but needed more of the good stuff like salami and green olives. The pizzas came out piping hot. The crusts were good, but the sauce was lacking flavor and they had a bit too much cheese. The toppings were not very evenly distributed--I had a piece with a stack of 7 slices of pepperoni that weren't even separated. The service was a bit slow at the beginning. There were two girls working the floor and they seemed a bit overwhelmed by the mini rush of 4 new tables all at once. But once they got through that initial hit, they picked it right up and were very attentive. Basically, the food could have been better and the service could have been better. Price wise it was affordable, 5 adults and 3 kids ate for under $55. We didn't stuff ourselves but we didn't walk away hungry either. read more

Delicious food As my boyfriend said his calzone was a party in his mouth But the people at the counter left something to be desired The counter girls were nice but there was a very long wait for our food- my Chinese food from next door was ready in an eighth of the time The people were right in front of us on their cell phones which I just thought was super unprofessional not to mention the guy who seemed to be an owner or maybe manager was wearing pjs! read more

My friends and I are in Highland Lake for a weekend trip. We ordered pizza and a Cesar salad from here, delivery estimate was for an hour later, which wasn't a big deal. Then, the pizza was over 20 minutes past that window. The pizza arrived cold. Even worse, they placed the salad in the same bag as the pizza, you know, the bag designed to insulate the pizza and keep the heat in. So the pizza was cold but the salad was warm and soggy. We complained to Slice, and the restaurant offered us $10 off our next pre-paid order. Not really a great offer for someone from out of town, who wouldn't want to order from here again anyway. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of one is that the pasta sauce had a good flavor that probably would have been delicious if the pizza had arrived even lukewarm. read more

I love some of the negative reviews here... Blah blah blah. Doug has been making some of the best pizza in NJ for 25+ years. The delivery drivers are usually prompt and the orders are always correct... Even when you ask for substations or place special orders. Jake, the pizza chef, is quick, witty, and makes a fabulous pie. The kitchen manager, Matt, is a little rough around the edges if you're looking for an encounter session with a fuzzy teddy bear- but that's not his job. His job is to run the kitchen. If you want an encounter session, you should be in a bar, not a pizzeria. The counter help is run by the owner's wife- she is a great lady and keeps her staff in line and working hard. The food here has always been above average and the pizza is top notch- crispy-chewy NJ pizza crust with well-made pizza sauce and lots of toppings. Accidents happen and orders get screwed up- that's a fact of life. But at the end of the day- if you want a quick, tasty, meal for a relatively cheap buck- the pizza station is the best around. Anyone that says otherwise had an axe to grind. read more

Ordered a pizza, mozzarella sticks and garlic knots on a Friday night. It was delivered 1 hour 52 minutes after I called to order it. When I called at the 1 1/2 hr. mark to see where my order was, the girl told me I ordered an hour ago and that I was told delivery was an hour minimum. I was told 45 min. to an hour they called me at the 1 hr. 45 minute mark to tell me the driver was lost and knocking on the wrong doors. I will never order from them again. Pizza places are a dime a dozen around here, no need to deal with horrible service while being called a liar. read more

Pizza station is a must! Especially after a long day of boarding. The prices are cheap and reasonable and the food is good. To be completely honest, haven't tried their pizza...
