I ordered a pie and it took over an hour to get to my house. I said to the delivery guy I hope it's still hot and he said if I wanted hot pizza I should pick it up myself. I felt the box and it was cold so I told him I didn't want it. If he wasn't so rude I would have taken the cold pizza and heated it up in my oven. Called the store and told the manager what happened. Then I start getting perverted emails from him on my phone. Then I get a alert from my bank saying there was a $500 charge from Walmart charged to my bank card. Reported it to the police. I was told by the manager that he was fired. I was also told that this wasn't the first time this pizza delivery person had a problem with a customer. I started getting text messages from the people on the site that he was slandering me on. I haven't dined at pizza station or had anything delivered from there since this happened. read more

I have eaten at this place twice so far, and the Louisiana Pasta, and the smoked Turkey sub(now mind you, I've had a lot of subs in my 29 years, but this has to be one of the best subs I've ever had!) are top notch, I would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants great food at a reasonable price. read more

Placed an order for delivery and waited over an hour, the waitress called me back when I was expecting the food to be here and said sorry we made a mistake we don't deliver to your area unless you order a lot of food. Was very disappointed. This was my go to pizza restaurant. Tried ordering for delivery again the next week, with over $30 in food but the waitress on the phone said they didn't deliver to the area anymore. Was pretty bummed. Stopped here before a show at the local church. The Calzone I ordered, and the pasta my wife ordered both were excellent, better than I expected from a neighborhood place. The food took just long enough to come out that I'm sure it was individually cooked, as opposed to sitting in a warmer somewhere. We stumbled upon this place after driving around for 20 minutes and deciding this was going to have to do. Plus pizza seemed like a safe bet. The people were really nice. They created us warmly and the waitress was a sweetheart. However, the food was a different story. My friend and I ordered the chicken cheese steak with onions and peppers. It wasn't bad, but rather than having melted cheese over the chicken, we had American slices. It wasn't bad though! My daughter had chicken nuggets and French fries, she only ate the French fries. I had to force her to eat 2. My husband ordered the grilled cheese with onions. He was highly disgusted and disappointed. Wasn't happy with his food at all. Our other friend ordered wings and a slice. First of, we are from NYC...there isn't any other place with better pizza than there. Period! So I knew he made a mistake. I have given this place so many chances being I live in Vernon but every time I order from here I am disappointed. To start they ALWAYS forget something that I ordered and on one occasion I just received the complete wrong order. In regards to the food it is just as bad as the service. First I ordered a chicken cutlet hero and the piece of chicken was so small that I only had one half of a hero - the rest was bread. Recently I ordered a gluten free pizza and it was so soggy that I couldn't eat it. Then tonight my husband ordered me a piece of peanut butter pie and it was sour. Each time there is a mistake the owner states that it is due to new staff and he will comp us the next time we come in. Let me just say that we have NEVER been reimbursed. Like some other reviewers, I don't understand why this place gets such unfavorable reviews. I live locally and we typically get take out from Pizza Station once per week or so. Every time we have had delicious food and the staff are always very friendly. One time they messed our order up and they immediately threw in a free 2 Liter bottle of soda free since we were inconvenienced. We've had many of the menu items - from pizza to sandwiches and dinners. The portions are huge and reasonably priced. read more

Most horrible service ever. Even worse manager! After a long day of hard labor all we wanted to do was get some dinner delivered. Placed almost a $70 order for my friends and family. So after waiting for almost an hour and a half only 2 out of the 7 items was delivered. Even those 2 items was already cold. The driver wanted me to sign for the items on the credit card receipt and I refused. Called them and they placed us on hold for a long time. My friend decided to call from his phone and they decided to answer his call instead of our. I then used his phone and asked to speak to the manager. The manager, instead of accepting responsibility, tried to blame the delivery person. A good manager doesn't place blame but tries to solve the problem. I explained this is the third time this has happened and his replay was that he knew. As a manager if you know there is a problem with the service wouldn't you take ownership and train properly. I'm usually a person who gives people chances to prove themselves again, but this is the THIRD time this has happened. Three strike and you're out. So I told him, dont send the food, just give me a full refund. He refused several times and at that moment the other delivery person showed up. Which I then gave him the the 2 cold dishes back. Mind you, one of which was only a side order . As local I will never reccomend pizza station to anyone. You're better off going to any of the other 4 pizza places in the area. OK NJ Pizza. Nothing to write home about but nothing that isn't edible. They have poor service though, which is why I'm writing the review. They are close to my house and I order often from them. My biggest complaint is they NEVER have the order ready when they say they do. Plan on standing around 20+ minutes after scheduled pick up time for your order. As far as delivery... I no longer order delivery since they are at least 1 hour after scheduled delivery time. Next complaint is that they often mix up orders, or not make your order. Not that great. Pizza is so-so. Called in an order for 3 personal pizzas with different toppings. When I picked it up they charged me $53 bucks and handed me 3 large pies after the fact. They refunded me the difference and had to make 3 personal pies but they were very rude about it and I ended up eating dinner an hour later because they were busy, they didn't put a rush on my order, I had to wait all over again. Food is always great! The owners are very nice people and their always there working their butts off. My only complaint is the delivery drivers... If my total is $24.00 and I give you $40, don't ask me if I want change.. Of corse I want my change!!! I'm a great tipper because I've been in these kids shoes.. But a $16 dollar tip?! we live in town and the food choices are pretty limited around here. My husband like Pizza so we get delivery frequently. Unfortunately, I suffer for his pizza cravings. I dislike their pizza, it has too much cheese. And other meals show a lack of caring or even taste testing of their own food. I order chicken marsala and I get chunky chicken strips that seemed like they were waiting around for a ceasar salad to come along. Any chicken dish I ever order is dry and over cooked. I have to get something easy like ravioli for delivery that wont be dead by the time it arrives. Forget these reviews, i guess they have less stars than most places because of delivery it seems from reading reviews, i choose take out assuming it was good food. The place for what it is, is actually charming and has a cabin feel I liked, usually dont feel charmed in a take out pizza shop. The food was great, both pasta and pizza. Such a shame, I have lived in Vernon for the last 11 years, 5 years ago the food and service in the pizza station was amazing. 3 years ago went to eat with my pregnant wife and sat in the dining area waited for 30 minutes for the waitress to come, she forgot the drinks and apps and said that they were busy. I figured they no longer needed my business and let them know. My wife asked me to try them again today, the service has not gotten any better, ordered take out and the food was still messed up. When my wife called in apparently the "competent" staff is on vacation and then have the leftovers. Wow, just wow is all I can say. This place is SO GROSS. Every time I drive past it, I get grossed out. It is not clean at all. The prices are decent and the food is decent, but the cleanliness of the place is severely lacking, which is concerning how my food is handled. They have been in Vernon for years, and throughout the years I have gone here on several occasions. I have not been there in about a year or two, but I heard that the popcorn they serve/used to serve is old and that they just keep reusing the same popcorn and take it out with their hands. Phoned in for a pizza, was told 15 minutes. Arrived 15 minutes later and the girl put a mark on my ticket and told me it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I waited almost 40 minutes. That was almost an hour for a 15 minute pizza. Then when I got it home, the middle wasn't cooked. When I questioned why so long, the girl just shrugged her shoulders. What awful service and the pizza was nothing to write home about either. We ordered pizza and wings to be delivered. The guy got here with only the pizza and no wings. Our 3 year old wanted teriyaki wings which is why we ordered from pizza station. When the delivery guy called in the mistake they told us it would be 25 minutes to get wings here. No discount was given on the pizza, but I was ok with it then we dug into the pizza which by some miracle was raw in the middle and on one side while the other side of the crust was black and totally burnt. The pizza was also ice cold and mediocre at best on the flavor department. We will not be calling on this dump for pizza again and I wouldn't recommend you do either. There are plenty of other quality pizza establishments in this town. read more
