This pizza is sooo good. I first tried this pizza last month at my niece engagement party. I came back in town this month for the wedding. This was my first stop after leaving airport. I could not remember the vegetarian pizza but the owner is a sweetheart and took the time to describe multiple pizzas . The California pizza is chefs kiss. The owner also let me sample a slice of pizza with carmelized onion and it was also great. The entire staff was so gracious. I would be a regular weekly customer if I did not live out of state but this will be my go to when in town read more

Amazing pizza. The staff is great, always hard working. The food is always fresh, and always exceeds our expectations. The Sicilian is by far the best pizza I have ever had. The atmosphere is very nice. I recommend this place to anyone! They are involved in the community, and not just a pizza shop. Plus the pizza class for kids is one of my son's favorite activity! Ordered a pizza and grinder sub tonight at Pizza Roma. I had to wait about 10min for my order. As I'm waiting for my order, I have never in my life listened to a shop owner talking to their employees so rudely. I did not hear one please or thank you from the owner to her loyal employees. Very shocking. Then I got home opened my pizza and clearly she is cutting costs by making sure there were only 2 pieces of pepperoni on each slice of pizza. Kind of cheap. As a frequent customer I doubt I will go back, considering there are so many other pizza places within 2 miles. Very disappointed. read more

Best pizza around Mayfield! First time ordering from here. Ordered dinner for my sons birthday. Hands down, the best pizza around here. My sons even remarked how great it was. The crust is so good and not too thick or thin. The sauce is slightly sweet and taste delicious. I called because the website said "no delivery" and they were very helpful. My family and I went to this establishment back in August after we viewed a number of homes for sale. We loved it then and decided now that we are in the community to go back. This is great little shop. They have great lunch specials and after getting very disappointing pizza from a different place the day before, I went back to Pizza Roma. I ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and sausage and half plain. I actually ordered a slice to have while they were making the pizza. The staff was very friendly and they served my my slice on a plate. That first bite of hot bubbly pizza was divine. Just as good as I remembered. They really do have great pizza! I took the pie home and my family dove in. Let me tell you, there were small pieces of Italian sausage with the pepperoni. That sealed the deal. That was the one on the the top two tasting pizzas that I have had in Ohio. I am looking forward to trying their chicken parm and getting another taste of the wings that were terrific the first time. read more

The display made me uncomfortable ... I should have tried the pizza. It tasted alright and I'm sure a (enter deep voice) big hearty Italian sausage isn't cheap... but here's my issue: false advertising (to be dramatic)... it offered to me as an option for pizza by the slice. It cost twice as much and was not DELICIOUS... it was expensive (a delicious polish boy is $3 down the way). Had a terrible experience here. They forgot half the orders at our table and we waited for 40 minutes. Worst of all, the employee and someone who looked to be a manager working didn't even propose to put a portion of the meal on the house. I didn't say anything, but just very bad etiquette, a restaurant should take responsibility for mistakes if they want return business. I ordered Pizza Roma through DoorDash, a service in which I regularly use and am a fan of. I have never once had an issue or delay in the service until I ordered from Pizza Roma. Through the DoorDash app I am able to track the location of the delivery driver. According to the app the driver was sitting at the restaurant for thirty plus minutes. According to him, wings were given away to the wrong customer. I understand mistakes happen, but the long delay caused the pizza and dessert to be cold. The pizza was nothing special so I do not understand the phenomenal reviews. I would rather spend my hard earned money else where. read more

We'd ordered from here a few years ago when they first opened and thought it was really good pizza. Though maybe it was a different establishment because last night was terrible. This is a family run business and we understand how important reviews are. However, from a customer standpoint, we were upset that we felt obligated to pay for our order because it was the worst, most over cooked pizza/ that tasted like cardboard when eaten at home. We threw away, that's how bad it was. In addition to that pizza, we'd ordered a small bacon cheeseburger pizza. When we picked up our order, we opened the pizza boxes and immediately turned away the bacon cheeseburger pizza. The beef looked like cat pellets and so dry. The girl profusely explained that this was the meat itself. We felt obligated to pay for the rest of our order - medium chicken/bacon pizza, side of meatballs, their signature recipe they say, and an "Italian salad" - $4 for brown iceberg lettuce, 2 small slices of onion, bad tomatoes and a sprinkling of cheese. All of their dressings are bottled. Gross. And, the meatballs are just ok...you can make better at home! I'd never return and am writing this review for fellow Yelpers looking for good pizza in the area. We recommend going elsewhere. read more

I was staying at the Hilton Garden and this Pizza joint popped into my Droid map application, so I thought "what the heck". I ordered the Hawaiian Calzone along with a side dinner salad with their house sweet and sour poppy dressing. I ordered the food for delivery and it took about double the amount of time (60 minutes) to arrive, even though it was pretty early in the dinner period. The calzone was really quite large although it was really doughy and thick. That normally would have been something I would not have liked, but they included a really tasty garlic butter that had some Parmesan cheese mixed. Really tasty and a nice touch with the thicker dough Calzone. Nice job. The side salad was a nice portion and the house dressing was pretty tasty. Now if you guys would only improve your delivery times and send silverware and napkins to a hotel customer, I would be quite happy. I will order again and update my star rating if they deserve it with my return patronage. read more

First thing: if you want cheap pizza do not come here. If you do and complain about the price than it's your own fault. That being said, Pizza Roma supplies some of the best pizza I have eaten and I continue to pay $17 for a 3 topping large over and over because I have yet to find better pizza in the east suburbs of Cleveland. If plain is your game be sure to try the Sicilian pizza. This pizza was some of the best pizza I have had in northeast Ohio (and I've eaten at basically every popular pizza place in the Cleveland area). The crust was very good, a slight crisp, but still chewy, with almost no wasted space on the edges. The sauce definitely tastes homemade, and has a ton of flavor. Tastes like a good Sicilian tomato sauce. Can't wait to come back! read more

After looking for a nice bite and finding the smells coming from this place hard to resist we settled on a small with mushrooms and anchovies on half of the pie. We waited about 12 to 25 minutes to get our pizza and paid over twelve and a half dollars for it. There were six pieces, each of which had maybr five bites per slice. Basically the pie was the size of a personal pan pizza. The side with the toppings contained the equivalent of one mushroom and maybe four anchovies. I cannot complain about the quality or taste - but to pay more than two dollars for each piece was just sad. All we could think was, how could they? It's obvious they over charge but , why? Offer a kiddie pie, offer something that makes sense. The blatant taking advantage of customers.. just not cool. Help us to have something great to share about your establishment! read more

I've been going to Pizza Roma for about 8 years now, they have absolutely the best pizza and calzones! Portions are really good, and the quality of the ingredients is the best I've had anywhere - especially the meatballs (and I'm Italian, so I'm pretty picky!). The pizza dough is never too chewy, and the crust is crispy without being burned. I especially like their sauce as well as the quality of the cheese, this pizza is great cold for breakfast because of that. I love how they chop up the toppings like peppers and tomatoes and onions so that you get some with every bite, instead of getting a huge bit of onion and none left for the rest of your slice. I also like that they use enough toppings to cover the pizza, but not so much that it makes the dough underneath soggy. They do pizza by the slice at lunch, which is great if I'm in a hurry - and they have the best fried dough EVER - they deep fry their pizza dough and will put cinnamon and sugar and/or powdered sugar on it; it's better than the stuff I've had at carnivals, plus they chop it up first so there are bite size pieces to cut down on mess, and make it easier to share :) read more
