Preferably the diviest one you can find. Carmella's was the perfect fit! Not our beloved hometown pie but a solid win just the same. Definitely a tad to the divey side. Take-out and cash only. No paper plates or napkins. The staff had a bit of a Bill and Ted feel... meaning perhaps a little befuddled but so nice and helpful. The pizza was great! August 2025 So Carmella's is a fav. Tried a few weeks ago to order one. Phone rang and rang. Actually had friends come from west side to enjoy it. Apparently, they were on vacation. A taste from my teens. There used to be a Pizza Bazaar in Bedford. Went there all the time. The pizza here is exactly like I remember it.

While they do have good pizza, you should give a ficticious weird name on your order. Twice in six weeks, they gave our order to someone else and then insisted that we had picked up the order already. Staff was rude to my son, who was a weekly customer. He no longer goes there because we can't count on our pizza being there when we come to pick it up. read more

This is by far some of the best pizza in Cleveland. The staff is always nice and friendly when I go in (which is at least 3 times a month). The ingredients always taste so fresh. The pizza taste amazing and 2 large pizzas will feed my family of 6 (which includes a grown man and a teenager that eats like a grown man). I would highly recommend the food here. I love the fact that they are family owned. The only downside is that it's cash only but I didn't take off a star because the pizza is worth a trip to the ATM. Ratio of bread/sauce/cheese is 10/5/8, which would be a good stat line for an NBA bench player. So I saw this little "gem" one day on Yelp when I was searching for a new pizza place since Edison's Pizza is sooo far away from me and Angela Mia's is a luxury treat but I'm not always looking to take a field trip into the hood. I was shocked to see such wonderful ratings for this place, 5 Stars let me be the judge of that!!! Until... I was on the elevator and I had to stop and ask a guy, "Hey where'd you get that pizza? It stank so good!!" And he said, "Blah blah blah... Carmella's... best pizza in town!" Say what??? So I'm ordering one today. Pepperoni, Onions, Black Olives and Hot Peppers. It better be on point... DISSAPOINTED! Agh! I though that this would be amazingly good pizza and it was not! The crust is just wayyyy too thick, and annoying to chew through. It's too much bread and too little topping. Not at all worth the $18 I payed for it. I wish I would get my money back. This may be great pizza to some people but defiantly not to me. It was always worth the drive and we would be happy the whole way home knowing we were going to have a great dinner. This place has been around for a while and has a nice family feel to it. The fact that it has been in business for so long speaks to how good it is. The pizza has a 35 min wait but it is well worth it the pizza has a lil sweet taste to it with real hand rolled meat cheese melts and very stringy .
