This pizza and sun shop is local in my area and we ordered a cheesesteak sub, lasagna, wings, mozzarella sticks, fries, and carrot cake. The counter service was nice and we enjoyed our food. The ambiance was an average pizza sub shop. Small, soda coolers, and open view to the pizza ovens and such. We enjoyed our food, especially the wings. NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER. Here is what I sent Uber Eats (mind you I live in Pasadena, MD 21122 RIGHT off of 100 that can get to Pizza Raven by 100 or Mountain Rd in less than 10 mins): At 7:35 just minutes after I placed my order, I received a call from Pizza Ravens staying they don't deliver to my location (even though I live less than 10 minutes away). I asked if they could cancel my order. They said yes and hung up on me. After a few minutes I got an update from my Uber App staying they were making the order. Then another saying it was on its way. That's when I called Pizza Ravens again. I asked why the app said they were making my order and they again acted like I was calling the wrong store (even though I called the number provided by your app). They said that I called the wrong location and that they'd look into the issue. They called me back within a few minutes to yell at me that they had already told me they don't deliver to my location and there's nothing else they can do. I still got charged. I tried multiple times to cancel the order or put in a complaint that I never got my items. I have screenshots of all of this (incoming nag/outgoing calls and Uber's inability to let me cancel/report the order as never receiving the order) and your lack of customer service since everything is automated. I want a refund for the order I was never received. Especially for the lack of professionalism from the restaurant. read more

I don't know who answers the phone at this place but their people skills need improvement. If I'm calling with a question about an order, I expect an answer in a kind respective manner. This place however feels as though if you call with a question they have the right to verbally attack you. Terrible customer service, over priced food in an area bountiful of other options. Went for lunch and ordered a crab cake sub. I have had them before but I was splitting it w/ someone so I wanted 1/2 with hots, 1/2 without. "We won't do that:" was the response, like it is tought to cut the sub in half and make it like the customer wants it. I did not ask for anything crazy. When I order pizza or subs I usually get Bella Mia, but they're closed on Sunday. I decided to try Pizza Ravens last week; what a disappointment! The subs, supposed to be on "fresh" bread, were on old, smooshed rolls and the meat was so sub par the sandwiches were not edible. As for the pizza, raw onions were on top of so much cheese. The crust is decent, but with the overwhelming cheese and underwhelming toppings, it got lost. On the positive side, inexpensive (you get what you pay for I suppose) and fast delivery. If you're looking for pizza in the 'Dena, maybe stick with a chain if ordering on Sunday. read more

Pizza Ravens= worst definition of a business ever. We order all of the time and now they will lose my business over an overcharged bottle of soda their delivery driver forgot to deliver. After waiting 45 minutes for the original order, I call and am informed someone will be back to deliver the soda. I then wait another 30 minutes to call back and find out they don't have an available delivery driver! If I could give this place -5 I would. I found an L shaped piece of metal in my sub I called and the manager said it wasn't from them. Week took up the piece of metal and he laughed in our fave and said nothing in our kitchen looks like that it coulda been from the deep fryer. I almost swallowed the piece of metal and he laughed in my face only would refund me for one sub instead of my whole meal. Crab cakes were mostly filler, and what looked like crab, tasted like the imitation stuff. The fried shrimp was way too oily; fries were so-so; potato salad had an odd-tasting "mayonnaise," and the cole slaw was no better than tolerable. I feel like I threw away my money for junk food. Our family orders from pizza Ravens at least three times a month if not more! Food is good and they get here fast! We tip the drivers well because we know they work hard and drive in this mountain traffic for us so we figure it's the least we can do! However today is the last day I order from here! We ordered simple pizza and salad with chicken and honey mustard dressing! The order arrives and the dressing is missing! Usually I wouldn't mind because I have extra in refrigerator but this time of course I do not! Bad customer service! I ordered the party pack of 4 pizzas- 1 sausage, 1 pepperoni, one olive, one cheese. They brought two sausage one pepperoni and one cheese. We didn't realize the error until after the delivery man had left. I needed two vegetarian pizzas because I had a lot of guests that were vegetarians, so we called to let them know about the mistake and they said that if we returned one of the sausage pizzas they would bring us the black olive pizza that they forgot. Return the pizza? My guests had already started eating it by mistake, But if we didn't give them back their pizza they said we would have to pay for the other one. What are they going to do with the pizza that we sent back? Most places if they make a mistake are glad to fix it. Not pizza ravens. We ended up having to pay for an additional pizza even though the mistake was their error. I will never order from here again. And as a sidenote the pizza is terribly average. read more
