7 December. Only two girls working. I walked in to order two pies. We got a thing in the mail for one free with pizza once you spend a certain amount. the one girl asks if I'm picking up or ordering. I responded ordering. She responds that it is going to be awhile bc she's busy. I said no big deal. Maybe ten minutes goes by and I hear her say she's not taking my order and I can go else where. (Mind you I'm just sitting on my phone, no rush just have three kids it's a easy quick meal) Then she comes out and yells from the counter " what do you want" I said two pies She responds with is it a free pizza? I respond it's a spend so much get a pizza yes she responds with so " you want a free pizza. Well you need to get your free pizza another time. I'm busy it's a game night" so I left and drove to pasta vino instead. No special but a great pizza and great customer service. At first I want to blame management bc they were under staffed with two girls for just take out. But next the girl is unprofessional. Pizza is subpar. There is literally hardly any toppings or cheese. On my $19 large pizza. We had not used it in a couple years because we weren't happy before. we revisited because we had a coupon and I'm wondering how they're still open. I ordered the Italian sub, and it looked delicious in the picture. I didn't know it was going to be baked warm. I didn't know the tomatoes and the lettuce were going to be so soggy, and the meat was going to be so greasy from it being baked. I asked for hots. No hots. Don't sell hots. 2nd time they have failed! Last time we ordered it toom an hour, let i go because they were vusy. Ordered food again tonight at 7:30pm. 8:30pm; nothing. Called them and were told "food is on the way, the driver is out and it will be there soon". 9pm, nothing! Called again and found out FOOD HADNT EVEN BEEN PICKED UP BY THE DRIVER YET. I was completely impressed with the food quality. I ordered a 16" pizza pie and it was delicious. I have had my fair share of pizza here in Maryland and this has become one of my favorite pizza place. I also ordered their vocelli garlic rolls omg it was taking a bit into dough heaven lol. I've ordered pick-up and delivery from here a few times. Only pasta and rolls, though, have yet to try the pizza. This is a take-out restaurant, so no space to sit inside, only pick-up. Each time I've gone the employees have always been friendly. But judging from their repartee, I wonder if they aren't trained to say something funny or something to brighten your mood. It's a nice change compared to the blase attitudes of other chain employees. This is definitely not healthy food. Oily and heavy bread rolls and pasta. Good for when you're looking to indulge. Pasta dishes come with big pieces of garlic toast. The pasta itself is only enough for one person, or can be split between two small children. Online ordering is also easy, and you get a notification the minute your order is out for delivery. All in all pretty quick. read more

New to the area and this is my first time ordering from this restaurant. I just received great customer service from Ashley? I think that was her name. We ordered a sub and two pizzas. When the order arrived the sub was correct but we got completely different pizzas than what was ordered. I called the store and the lady who answered (Ashley?) was so polite and quick to fix the situation. I ended up opting to keep the pizzas that were delivered and they were pretty good despite not being what we ordered. Loved the cupped pepperonis on the pizza, they're what attracted us to ordering from Vocelli's in the first place. They were the perfect crispy texture. The Italian sub was also amazing, I highly recommend it. The sub was mild in heat but full of flavor. We'll be ordering from here again. I'd also like to give a shout out to the delivery man, despite the delivery fluke he was friendly and very pleasant to interact with. read more

We are limited as to who delivers to us, and I'd seen a car with a Vocelli's sign on top a few times so we called them this past weekend. We ordered a 14" Large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, meatballs, and extra cheese. We absolutely loved it and I wish we'd ordered the 18" Colosso! My boyfriend is Italian so he's picky about his pizza and he said it's one of the best he's had since he moved to MD. The next day we were tempted to order the same thing, but instead got a stromboli, wings, and the Italiano sub. The stromboli was huge, but there was a lot of dough on either end - not a good distribution of the filling and he would probably not get that again. The Garlic Romano wings were very good. The sub was tasty as well, but like another reviewer commented, the lettuce was soggy and brown. Next time I'll get it without lettuce and tomato, or get those on the side. read more

This makes me so sad to say, but DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE! We've been loyal customers for over two years, but they've officially lost us for life. Three weeks ago, the delivery driver forgot to bring half of our order (mind you, it was 4:30 pm on a Wednesday, not a busy time). I called the restaurant to ask how much I should pay for what he brought (didn't want to sit and calculate tax, delivery fee, etc.). The manager on the phone apologized profusely and said to keep the food and not pay, as it was their mistake (specifically the delivery driver, as there's a slip they're supposed to check with every order). I still tipped the driver 30%, DESPITE his mistake. He walked down the front steps of my house and had the nerve to say "you should have just paid for the pizza, now they're going to fire me." I let it slide. Maybe he was having a rough day. Fast forward to tonight. I tried calling a few times to place an order, and got a recording that the number had been disconnected. My first thought, was that they closed. Then, I called from another phone, and they answered. Called from the first phone again, same thing, disconnected recording. It hit me: after the incident 3 weeks ago they BLOCKED my phone number! I'm not sure if it was the delivery driver himself (who still works there, by the way, I confirmed it), or a coworker who was defending him? But seriously? He made the mistake; and he still got tipped! What did I do to warrant this type of treatment? We've been loyal customers, always tip very well, order from here a few times a month, and that was the first time I've EVER called to complain (despite orders being incorrect a few times previously). And I didn't even complain, I just asked how much to pay for the food he actually did bring, to make sure I covered tax, delivery fee, and a tip! I tried explaining the situation to the "acting manager" tonight, and he sounded amazed and said "how would a delivery driver be capable of blocking a phone number?" Nice customer service dude. No apology, nothing. I am so disgusted by Vocelli's Pizza. I will never order or eat their food again. And I will be sure to tell everyone in my very large and fast-growing neighborhood to steer clear! read more

What a bad experience! We received a flier in the mail about a deal they were running for the neighborhood: $2.99 for one large one topping pizza. Talk about a sweet deal right? Well we ordered 2 pizzas and an order of hot wings figuring we would have lunch for the next day from the leftovers. I ordered the pizza and was told that they were a bit busy and it would be about a 45 minute wait for the delivery. Not a problem. Well 55 minutes come and go by without a delivery. I try to give the delivery guys about a 10 minute "traffic was a beast" window or the fire house blocked the roads with their engines coming/going...I called over and after being put on hold - them dropping the call - calling back and being put on hold for 25 minutes - hang up and call back finally answer and talk to me - they said it was out and should be there in the next 15 minutes. *20* minutes go by and still no pizza or even a driver wandering around the area. I called over again and as it turns out the order had never left and was sitting on the counter. I was told that the GM was going to deliver it personally, this order was free, and that there would be a $20 credit put towards our future orders to try to make up for it. I asked for a timeline and he told me 15-20 minutes because he was going to bring it himself and it would be just our order not a bunch of orders being delivered at once. 45 minutes later we finally received our order. The GM was very apologetic but now was apparently when my daughter (8 months old) decided it was her bedtime bottle time too. SO while I'm getting her bottle ready, diaper changed and overall bedtime procedure my husband was getting dinner set out. Everything was COLD. We couldn't believe it. I had figured "How nice of the GM to make the run with a new and fresh order, I mean why would they send 2 hour old pizzas and wings?" Yeah well not so much. About a week and a half we decided to let them redeem themselves and give them their chance to earn us as customers. When I called and asked about the credit, it wasn't in there. When I explained the situation to the GM he didn't remember us and basically told me that there was NO way it took nearly 3 hours for us to get our order. He finally just accepted that he had promised the credit and took my order. ONE one topping pizza and an order of wings and he was still going to charge me $5 and change. I said for what?! Even if the pizza and wings weren't on any kind of a sale wings are $7.99 you're telling me that a large one topping pizza with delivery is going to cost me $17?! Yea I told him to cancel the order and that we would never order from them again and never recommend them again. You had your chance, twice! I don't do 3 chances with restaurants. Some other folks may have had great service with them, but I am not ever going to order from there again or send my friends there. read more

It was ok. I ordered a sub on ciabatta bread. It was toasted with everything on it. So the lettuce was soggy and brown and the tomatoes were the ends and old. That's why I rated them a 3 star. The customer service was great. Just wish they took the time an attention into the food. read more

I've ordered from Vocelli's many times with very favorable results; however, I was most impressed when my order went wrong. I had ordered a side salad that did not show up with my order. The store had the driver deliver my salad, threw in a store credit, and to my delight, there was cannoli in the bag with my salad when it arrived. I wasn't angry with the mistake because mistakes happen, but I was still very impressed with the store's response. For delivery, the quality of their food is very good, and it's a delightful change from the major pizza chains. Also, their prices are great! We once ordered for four adults and thought there was an error when the total was only $30. The food has always been on time or early, even when I expected a delay due to traffic on Mountain Road. All in all, pretty great, so I would certainly give them five stars when compared with other establishments that offer delivery. read more

Some of the best pizza in Pasadena. Their crust is great, sauce and cheese always perfect and their tiny crispy pepperonis are my favorite. I've never had anything but good experiences with the employees. Even when I have changed from delivery to pick up instead twice (the charges are different), they've adjusted it and refunded my credit card properly and quickly. I order from there all the time. Quick delivery, accurate orders, good food and the staff is always nice to me. I don't usually leave reviews, but I order from them so often and was shocked by the couple of negative reviews- I felt it necessary to say I have always had great experiences with them and I would say I order 4-5 times a month.
