    Cheese Pizza

Very tasty NY style pizza. One of the best places in the Glen Burnie area. Sauce is good, dough is good, cheese is good. My go-to for a quick pizza.

This place was highly recommended by my boyfriend's family, who must originate from the original settlers of Glen Burnie because they all went to the same high school, and all know the same BS places and speak highly of them, as if they've never traveled far from home. They also REALLY like Ann's Dairi-Creme - which I also do not like. Though I would be willing to go back for a milkshake. My boyfriend is adopted and recently reconnected with his Glen Burnie dwelling birth family, and he's trying to figure them out through any means available, including how his palate compares to theirs. And this experience did not bode well for him, or them, or things they have in common. I have NEVER known him to throw out a pizza or a cheesesteak, but he threw away both last night. It didn't help that we had some of the most mind-blowing, delicious pizza, wings and sandwiches the day before at Pippo's in Middle River. So, we got plain cheese pizza because all the reviews talked about how very close to New York Style pizza Rocco's served. I'm guessing now that these people have never been to New York. The sauce is super sweet. Our crust was burnt on the bottom. We also got a cheesesteak with onions that was so light in weight that it could have floated away of its own accord. The roll was SUPER soft and overwhelmed the small amount of meat, which also seemed to have spent a little too much time being cooked. My boyfriend said it was the worst cheesesteak he's had, after the "steak 'em on a hot dog roll we had in Cherry Hill." The wings were also basic and lackluster, and didn't come with any sort of dipping sauce. I enjoyed the fried zucchini sticks, but again, some sauce would have been nice. There HAS to be better pizza/take away in Glen Burnie. The law of averages demand it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT RECOMMEND

This is the spot! I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I think they knew it was my first time there, so the guy pointed out the specials. The crew wasn't afraid to say Hello and Thank you! Clean, super easy to order.

The Best New York Style Pizza in town. 18 inch with one topping special. I usually get bacon. Perfect combination.

My husband and I are doing our own "Barstool" pizza reviews for the area and headed to Rocco's to sample their cheese pizza. It took us by surprise... SO delicious! Alright Frankie... The crust was a good texture, not too soggy and not too crispy. I prefer mine a little more crisp but honestly it was close to perfect. The flavor of the dough was also very tasty. They make their dough fresh daily and you can definitely tell. I normally don't eat the crust but this time I did. The sauce had a good tang to it. I also liked that there was a good sauce to cheese ratio. The cheese wasn't too rich or heavy. Good flavor. You could easily eat a whole pie. Just a solid NY slice that is going to give others serious competition. One bite, everybody knows the rules!

Not what I expected from a new local explore...maybe try again much later. Seemed to overcooked then recooked with fresh toppings on a not very busy Friday.

Two bags of fries, two subs, 2 cans of Pepsi, 1 16" cheese pizza

My two roommates and I were tired of ordering Domino's every time. I'd seen this place while driving by, and thought of trying it. After looking up reviews, I decided to go ahead and check out their online menu. I saw a deal they had for 2 subs, 2 fries, 2 cans of soda, and one 16" cheese pizza (NY style) for $21.99 + tax. I called them up (I normally hate calling up places, but this shop seemed worth it). The person over the phone quickly took the order with ease. He asked if I wanted to do CASH or CARD, but I didn't want to give my card over the phone so I picked cash at the door. Total ended up being $25.46 + $3.00 tip. Ordered at 7:16 pm, they delivered to the door at 7:50! Pretty fast! --Cheesesteak sub: So delicious. We got everything on it. It was 8'' of yum! Even had a lil' spice to it. --Fried shrimp sub: Also tasty! Nice and shrimpy, got everything on it as well. --Fries, were warm, thick cut, I can see how some people would say they're soggy, but it's because they were thick and hot in the bag with condensation. Loved them though, a mix of moist and crunchy. --PIZZA: HOLY SMOKES, simple as the cheese pizza was, it was so good! I'd get one of these simple pizzas over domino's/papajohns/pizzahut loaded pizzas anyday! It's even better the morning after, right out of the fridge. :)

Pepperoni Pizza (I specifically requested that they put pepperoni on top being they usually come on the bottom)

Sausage pizza was solid even after a 20 minute ride in the car. Probably the best pizza outside of bmore and Annapolis. Great price too.

The only warning I will give is that they bring the pizza right out of the oven so you have to let it cool so you don't burn yourself, quite a task. Other favorites include their garlic knots, jumbo wings, and French fries (they are slightly breaded, usually not my preferred style but these are fried perfectly). We have almost always dined in as it's a little further away from where I live and would prefer to have the pizza fresh, however the leftovers reheat well (as most pizza does). There is a little wait when you order an entire pizza, but it's definitely worth it. It's a pretty small staff but everyone is friendly and welcoming. You get the sense that they are thankful for your business. There is a parking lot that can sometimes fill up, but there is a larger parking lot only a couple of feet away. It is a very casual setting with plenty of booth stealing as well as regular chair seats.

I was hoping to park on the street to run in but ended up driving around for 10+ minutes before ending up in the lot. Turns out my parking was free so it worked out just fine. For the food, I got the cheese pizza with prosciutto and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was fantastic, and I really liked that you can order a half portion which was great for 2 people. The crust was crispy, and the cheese and sauce were great, and it was packed with prosciutto. The wings were also great, I loved the sauce and the sesame seeds on some of them which was a fun twist.

Parking anywhere downtown especially the inner harbor on the street is very limited; and the parking garages are insane at times. I found parking and made way to this establishment at the Power Plant. There was a Flippino festival going on at Power Plant as well. When we entered the establishment, we were immediately seated. Seating is only at high tops or the bar. We started off with a couple drinks, old bay wings and cheesesteak sliders. The drinks were ok, not 5 star rating. The cheesesteak sliders were okay as well. We ordered Old bay fries which came out great. After digesting the wings, sliders and fries we ordered the Peppers and Onions pizza with added spinach. The pizza came out very light. Ive had this pizza previously and it was toasted and not doughy. There was very little cheese. The pizza disappointed. So after all, I was very disappointed with the choice of this establishment today. Absolutely nothing but the friendly attentive staff was a plus. The staff were beyond attentive. It could be a bad day but definitely not good since I havent been here in about 3 plus years. The prices has increased tremendously as well. I wouldnt say not to go but based on today, I would be skeptical to return again for myself in the future.
