While their pizzas aren't the best in the area, they're tasty and the buffet is hard to beat. We stopped in for lunch. Ask for the senior discount! I asked for a buffalo chicken ranch on the buffet. The buffet comes with a drink. Check out both dispensers. They offer different options. My request came to our table in about 10 minutes. Super good. For us chow hounds, it's a good choice. Got here at 3:45 on Sunday afternoon they close at 4 but had plenty of pizza and chicken and salad bar but the selection wasn't great for pizza and it was almost cold . I get it, Sunday and almost time to close but definitely not worth $37.00 for 2 people and they pretty much pushed us out the door at 4:05. It's called pizza ranch, the pizza is buffet style with at least 8 to choose from, and they are all Very good and they will make it your way, you only have to ask. They also have a salad buffet with a lot of toppings. They have a separate buffet of Broasted chicken (outstanding), mashed potatoes with gravy, potato wedges, kernel corn, string beans, and a few other items. Drinks included, coke products, coffee, soft serve ice cream, iced tea, in a facility that is clean. All of this, for a reasonable cost, that is comparable with any other dining venue, anywhere. This is my first and favorite place to eat. The staff is very accommodating to the customer and they are busy busing the tables, and keeping the buffet bars, and facilities clean. Came in here on a Sunday at 2 PM for lunch. Although it was Father's Day, it was a little crazy but not too busy. The staff tried to keep up with the demand and I think they did pretty well considering it was busy. Used to be great. Now it's horrible. You used to be able to order any kind of pizza to be delivered to your table for however many pieces you wanted - including dessert pizza (which was good, because the blueberry one was rarely available and when it was, it ran out right away). No more. They seem to have an area for dessert pizzas where they could have a few out at a time, but I've never seen it used - there is just one dessert pizza out on the main pizza bar. I have 3 kids who only eat cheese pizza, so I asked for that only to be told that it's always out on the buffet (guess what - IT WASN'T). They used to have these delicious homemade chips that my son LOVED, but haven't seen them for ages. The last time we were there, where the chicken is supposed to go they had two big trays of beets. BEETS??? Went for a birthday dinner - there were 10 of us - and we got pointed to two different booths across from each other. The back rooms were closed up, which would have easily sat us much more comfortably. We recently went to a Pizza Ranch in Iowa, and it was MUCH BETTER. They could take a lesson from other Pizza Ranches - more room, cleaner, better variety, and they had no problem ordering us a cheese pizza to be delivered to our table! read more

There is a nice selection of good tasting pizza's and they do requests. There is a nice selection at the salad bar, too. But mainly I go there for the chicken! MMMM GOOD! The selection at the chicken bar, has a good variety. I like going there shortly after it opens for the day, this way I can have a quiet lunch before the place fills up with kids who think they are at McDonalds. This Pizza Ranch is like all the others. Any kind of pizza you can imagine on Buffett, fried chicken, potato wedges, soft serve ice cream, salad, and all high schoolers running the dining room. The nice thing about this place is that you can order any type of pizza to be made specially for you. They bring it right to your table when it's done. I'm giving it 2 stars only because the busses were attentive. The food is mediocre at best. There was only one pizza option without meat and it consisted of tomatoes, spinach and cheese; no sauce. Was not a good experience. I'd been here before and it's always been a nice place to eat. Tonight was the worst. We live 45 minutes away and called to find out what time they close. The recording says 10:00 pm. We get there at 7:30 pm and told the buffet will be closing at 8:00! We decide to stay. Paid the FULL PRICE FOR 3 ADULTS. Soon the manager comes over asking if were almost finished, standing around us, hovering, telling us they will be closing soon. No more fresh food is being brought out any more. Change the recording on the phone and give customers the correct hours of operation to plan and dine in peace without having management and Waite staff hovering over you. The manager says Corporate knows as well as his GM, that the recording is misleading, but theres nothing being done. Had I gotten upset and made a scene after paying full price for a meal I couldn't sit and eat in peace, I would have been the one being looked at as rude rude. I'm African American, but I'm sure that had nothing to with it. A group of whites on the other side were being rushed out as well. They said it happens every time they come. This place is a joke. We had an incident, an old lady slapped my 3 year old child because he took a pepperoni off a pizza while I was on the other side, at the same buffet table, getting my kids their food. We have a 7 year old autistic daughter, a 4 year old and a 3 year old. The lady admitted it to the cops that she slapped him, yet the Pizza Ranch told the cops we're no longer allowed there. So, they banned us because someone hit our child. So if you have young children, do not come here. They don't like children and don't understand that things happens. Small selection of food for a pizza buffet which is the primary reason for the low rating, good salad selection, nice staff are the redeeming qualities of this place. Other pizza ranch locations seem to have more to offer, if they can up the selections here, the rating will definately go up. I just don't know about the Pizza Ranch. The food is really good, particularly the chicken and mashed potatoes. For some reason, they refuse to put potato wedges on the buffet and burn their biscuits EVERY TIME. I love their cinnamon pizza, but they never have plain on the buffet, just berry and peach. We asked for a plain Cactus Bread to be made, and the waiter informed us that there was some at the buffet already. There were only two slices left, but I guess that's OK. We had just spent the last three months cycling across the country, and I had been telling my partner about how awesome it is. We were now on a car ride home from the east coast and had to make Pizza Ranch a stop. The crowd was small, and there was plenty of selection, though the pizzas seems to be getting a little old under the lamp, probably because of low turnover. What we had was pretty good, what I'd expect of buffet food. I didn't have any salad or other dinner buffet items, though my girlfriend seemed to like the chicken. The cactus bread was delicious as I've experienced in the past. We did notice an abundance of Christian rock coming from the speakers, and, as heathens, we were displeased. Real cheese and good crust. I've lived here for three years and people would recomend other pizza places. I don't see why so many have that fake, processed cheese and low grade/canned meat and veggies. People think it's good? How can you not tell the difference? We used to love this place but the last few times have been lacking. Tonight was the final straw. We were there for about an hour and it was like the staff was in a daze. Very few fresh pizzas and the ones they did bring out were burnt, especially the dessert ones. Speaking of the dessert pizzas....wow. Minimal toppings, sloppy and burnt. Yum ;-( It wasn't just the food. One of the men who cleared our plates had unbearable BO and the other actually took his shoe off, picked something off the bottom of his DIRTY sock then put his hands back on the clean table to balance himself. Gross. The carpet was FILTHY and the bathrooms were one step short of a backwoods gas station. This place used to be clean, friendly and the food was fresh and served with a smile. Some modifications because of COVID. The salad bar was reduced by about a third of the normal offerings since no jello, pudding or cranberries. There were no soup options. There was only one dessert option which was the cactus bread. No dessert pizzas. The ice cream machine was not ready. The only drinks were sodas since the tea and coffee area was blocked off. The chicken is moist and delicious but for some reason they were very stingy with drumsticks. They came to refill the chicken with fresh chicken but were going to return to kitchen with the drumsticks until I asked for one. The potato wedges are great. 2 stars for the fast delivery. Everything else was fairly abysmal. Had to wait on the phone when I called for them to check if they were delivering at the moment. Lady on the phone was very rude. Every time she didn't hear me (due to noise in in the background on her end) it was "What?!" "Huh?", and she almost closed the call without getting my payment method or address for delivery. When she finally did get to the end it was "Ok,bye." Pizza was delivered in about 20 minutes. I wanted to tip the driver and usually do so when I sign the ticket, but the driver said there was no ticket to sign. Since I didn't have any cash handy I couldn't tip the one person who seemed to do his job well. The pizza was very subpar. Dry, bland, and slightly over cooked. For 2 mediums and a 2 liter it was definitely not worth $32. Could have gotten the same at Marcos for around $10 less and the pizza has always been better from there than this. read more

We used to love this place and go once a week. We have tried it twice in the last year or so and something has changed. The last time we went even the chicken was lacking. All of the pizza looked like it had been sitting a while. They used to have thin and thicker crust options on the buffet but it is now all super thin (think cracker) crust and doesn't taste good. There policy is also you may only have the kids cup if you pay kids price so my 10 year old had to use a cup with a lid that he can finish in 2 sips.....we won't be back...so sad. read more
