Buffets can be hit-or-miss, but Pizza Ranch in Burlington really delivered. Every single item on the buffet was hot and fresh, with a great selection to choose from. The chicken was moist with a perfectly crispy coating, the mashed potatoes were surprisingly delicious, and the dessert pizzas were a standout favorite. We also ordered a custom pizza, and they gladly made it fresh for us. Service was exceptional from start to finish--when we walked in, the cashier greeted us warmly, asked if anyone was a senior, and even noticed my guest's Vietnam hat, offering him the veteran discount. That kind of attentiveness really stood out. If I judged only on food, I'd probably give it 4 stars since buffet food rarely matches freshly prepared meals. But the quality here was strong, and the outstanding service pushed it up to 5 stars. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area! read more

This place almost killed my boyfriend!! He's allergic to MSG and they didn't have any signs warning that they use tons of MSG on their pizzas,he almost died! He was in the hospital for 5 days and now has about $7,000 in hospital bills because of their negligence!! Bad place!! read more

This was my first time trying pizza ranch in this location. I love the variety of all the pizzas you can get made fresh. You pay a flat fee for all you can eat and drink. Pizzas are made and placed on buffet line, but you can order a pizza fresh and get how many slices you want before it goes out. The fried chicken is my absolute favorite. It's so crispy and flavorful. For dessert we got root beer from the fountain drink area and got ice cream from the Mach and made root beer floats. They were so good. The service was pretty quick and the area was clean. I signed up for there reward system while I was there. I will definitely be back. read more

Under new management. Food bar is clean and the staff works diligently to refresh depleted items. We like that you can order a custom pizza. One recommendation- please consider adding a soup of the day to the buffet. read more

We visit pizza ranch maybe once a year and this location is slightly closer for us so we gave it a try. I love pizza ranch because their pizzas are delicious and it's a buffet. Plus the price? You definitely get your monies worth. Upon entering you pay and then find a space to sit and then have at it. They have clean plates you go get and then go through the buffet line. They have a variety of pizzas and if one that you want isn't out you can request it and they will give you a pager so you get first dibs before it goes to the buffet line. Theyvalso have amazing fried chicken and their salad bar? Yum! This location has a fun zone with arcade games which is cool. The staff was friendly cleaning the table whenever they saw dirty dishes. Only downside was theyvhad lots of pizzas in the window but weren't putting them out due to them not consolidating pizzas fast enough. They even have dessert pizzas and garlic bread. read more

Went in for a Birthday Party and each and every staff member was amazing. They were helpful in getting us the party room, kept checking in on us, took out our used dishes for us. Even received a game card for birthday girl. Kept the cake for us as well. I can't thank them enough for all the efforts and the food was great as well. I give them all a 10/10 for each person working on Monday March 9th for dinner. read more

Well, it's been eight months since I've last done a review on this location. Everything runs the same, except they have a lot of turnover on staff, and their pizzas don't come out as quick as they did before. I didn't notice the buffet price went up about a dollar. The fried chicken is still exceptional. New to Pizza Ranch is wings (original, extra crispy, and hot). I found them to be quite greasy, and didn't really care for them. they were hot, temperature wise, but overwhelmed with grease. It looks like this location is still managed very well. read more

Food was very good, but nothing special. Nice little place with an arcade! Great for a group of any size. Tasty mashed potatoes and gravy and delicious little desserts. read more

Yes!!!!! A pizza buffet and I am here for it! Amazing selections. Great quality! Awesome service! What you may not be aware of, you can tell them at the counter what type of crazy pizza you want made. They give you a buzzer and call you up when it's ready. They give you first dios and then add it to the array or other pizzas on the buffet. Dessert pizza! Salad, pasta, chicken....breadsticks...soup! I mean c'mon! This place is the cat's meow of buffets! All super fresh and hot! Service has always been top notch. Clean! Inviting and filling! read more

Terrible pizza and greasy, yet dry and sad chicken. Definitely not worth $15. Even my son didn't like it and he lives on pizza, burgers, chicken. read more

Nice and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can order a custom pizza but what you don't take from it gets put out in the buffet. The thin crust we ordered is similar to Casey's The chicken is good also. We would recommend trying it. read more

Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Ben, the owner/operator went over the top! He checked on us several times asking how the food was, if we needed anything, if the temp in the restaurant was ok, etc. We were a party of 9. Just very attentive and they were super busy. Establishmen was very clean. My SIL asked for a blueberry dessert pizza and he made 2 and brought them both to our table and boxes for the leftovers! Some of us were first timers, others had been there several times already. We definitely will be repeaters! Thank you Ben! (I am adding I'm from Union Grove, not sure how my review has me from San Francisco! LOL) read more

I took my niece and great nephews to dinner last night. The pizza was really good and a great selection to choose from, they will even make a pizza if you don't see something you like. There is something for everyone from choice of pizza, an amazing salad bar to pasta and sauce, chicken and sides. The buffet was so clean and fresh as if you were the first in line. The crew was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Outstanding customer service. I am from the old school of customer service, so this was a wonderful experience to see where in today's world is getting lost. They kept everything clean from the buffet to the eating area and bathrooms. I could tell they took such pride in their work. The arcade area was a special bonus of entertainment for kids and adults. There is a token machine right by the entrance of the arcade, so you didn't have to chance anyone down. Overall I was very impressed with this restaurant. Management and the people behind the scenes deserve big kudos too. The pride and caring always starts from the top and it showed. Thank you! I have one tiny request, please don't change. read more

This place is all you can eat but unfortunately they don't have many food choices for pizza here is horrible and they did not even have any sausage only pizza for their Pizza Buffet meanwhile the chicken breasts were the best part and the rest of the other chicken pieces were completely dry and bad they also have French fries mashed potatoes and the likes nothing too impressive. This place was overall very disappointing and it is likely for kids and this is why they don't try to improve the actual Pizza read more

Tonight was our second visit in week.. another good experience! We had a group of 11 that met for dinner tonight. Although the reservation I made on Monday was not written down, they were able to accommodate us. Our party was given one of the 2 party rooms for seating. The food was fresh & delicious! It is great to have a salad bar/buffet nearby! The staff checked in on us often! We are thankful for wonderful time we had and we will be back soon! Special thanks you to Benjamin Nelson, manager & Anna, general manager! You both were so kind and helpful! See you soon!! read more

The food was delicious; however, it was the customer service that took this place to another, higher level. I don't eat meat, and so the team asked me to create any pizza I wanted as many as I wanted; and they made them happily. The team was happy to be there as we were, were attentive, and did everything to make this a great experience. For people who want to feel great about the future of our country and its young people, Pizza Ranch is THE place to be! I'll return again and again and again.... read more

Would give NO STARS if possible. I have never been so humiliated in my life at a low quality buffet such as this. Addison the server was constantly staring at my boyfriend every time she walked past us. Not just staring at him either, but staring at his CROTCH!!!! When I was right there!!! Told a manager about our uncomfortable dining experience and they seemed like they could care less that they have a total creep for a waitress/busser! Will never eat at a pizza ranch again, customers shouldn't have to deal with this, especially from the people we are paying to serve us. I truly hope that Addison gets the help she need to fix her social skills. The whole time I was there I just wanted to go home due to her treatment of us and her constantly looking at my boyfriend like he was a piece of meat. She is incredibly rude read more
