I ordered a Margherita pizza, and my husband ordered the salmon with a side. Unfortunately, neither of our main courses was good. The food was quite bland and did not meet our expectations.
The positive part was the appetizer and dessert that came with my husband's meal. He chose the charcuterie, which was delicious, and the two cannoli for dessert were also very good. However, the main courses were the biggest disappointment.
We also ordered the house wine, which was the least expensive option at $58.00. Once you add tax and tip, it is no longer exactly an inexpensive option.
As for the service, we also had an uncomfortable experience. When the waitress was speaking to the person sitting to my left, she would lean toward her and practically lean into my personal space, almost over my plate. The same thing happened when she spoke to the person sitting next to my husband. I feel she could have kept a little more distance and been more mindful of the guests' personal space, her name Jeanne.
Another issue was the noise level. The restaurant is extremely loud because of how many people are talking. It was so noisy that we practically had to shout to have a conversation with the person sitting next to us, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.
Overall, there were a few positives, such as the charcuterie and the cannoli, but considering the price, the quality of the main courses, the wine, the noise level, and some of the service issues, I don't feel the experience was worth what we paid. We simply expected much more for the price.
