Beef and blue cheese ravioli
Omer H.

I must be getting old. I found the space to be very noisy. Perhaps that's the vibe they intended. The food and service made for it. Who wants to have a conversation when your taste buds are being treated with tastes and textures of pasta and sauce? I really enjoyed the beef and blue cheese ravioli in a mushroom sauce, and my wife enjoyed the tagliatelle. The pogo shrimp appetizer was really good too. Our ears were ringing for a half hour after leaving. Yep, we're old

Penne pasta with prosciutto. Yum!

We had our team dinner at this restaurant. It was a fun place and we had a good time but the service was super slow! I enjoyed the calamari, appetizer and loved the pasta dish which I ordered. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce and prosciutto were very tasty in it! Overall we had fun but it took a very long time in between each order from drinks, to food, to getting our food. We were a little surprised because it was not overly busy. We got there at 6:30pm and left just before 10pm. Other than the slow service we enjoyed Zibo.

Although a chain resturaunt, this is easily one of my go-to spots when on a work trip in the area as the fun, young vibe in the bar area (although the music can sometimes be a bit too loud) or the cozier dinning area are perfect for any occasion from happy hour to a group dinner. If at prime dinner time, the service may be a little slow, but you can easily see the place is booming with business! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and filling with a lot of options to choose from, but I always look forward to the salmon tartare.

Asian chicken salad

The food is soooo fresh! The service is great. The wind is smooth. Had reservations at 8pm for two people it was a good thing bc on a Thursday night it was packed. Seated promptly with both an English and French menu Night one- the Asian Chicken and shrimp salad very full of flavor and the dried diced mangos were a perfect complement to all the other flavors. Dirty Dirty to start the night off and then a very nice shared bottle of white wine. I have to remember the name bc it was quite good and I would enjoy more. Night Two- couldn't decide on anything specific and parking was a nightmare in this very busy shopping centre. Sat at the bar with a Zibo! Mojito the perfect refreshment after a very long work day. California chicken was the final decision with no regrets. BTW- KUDOS to the ladies running the bar last night. ALL THE DRINKS WERE HAPPENING and super tasty too. Highly recommend this more upscale place to dine and have a good time at.

Based on my last visit, I won't be returning. The waiter was nice but the service was extremely slow. We were seated outside on the terrace, and it took a while to flag down someone to replace missing cutlery or ask a question. I've been to Zibo many times (years ago), and it seems they've revamped their menu to increase prices, but lower quality. We ordered the zucchini appetizer and were extremely disappointed. Instead of a tower of crispy zucchini (I've tried it before), we got a small mound of soggy, oily zucchini. Since we were starving and the service was so slow, we ate it but it left a film of oil in our mouths. I asked the waiter for bread while we waited for our food 'cause something told me it would take for ever to arrive (I was right). For our mains, we ordered the steak salad, the Zibo salad, and the Zibo burger. The burger was delicious but the fries were brittle and broken up; clearly old and fries that were left at the bottom of the barrel. The Zibo salad was good but the steak salad was super bland and overpriced. Overall, beyond "meh".

Really the most popular restaurant in DIX30 not located in the Square. A lot of great choices from contemporary cuisine to Asian influenced meals. On a nice summer Saturday evening, this place is hopping and there are waiting times to be seated outside which we were at. (20 minute wait. Hey walk over to Indigo a cross the street and they will call you). To eat inside the restaurant, there are two seatings @6:30pm and 8:30pm) you would need to reserve in advance without exception. We opted for our favorite appetizers of calamari! No disappointment here. We then went through our main meals as shown on the photos. All great choices. The saumon was seared just right and the grilled vegetables worked. The saumon Tartar was simple and filling while the Bangkok chicken mimicked Asian restaurant servings. $$-$__ The service was great and on a crowded night it was understandable that it may take a bit longer to get to your table.

Duck Poutine

Was the duck poutine worth the 120+ minute wait? Eehh .... Yes, you need to make reservations at this place. You really do! And if you don't feel like calling, you can make reservations on line too. We looked online and saw that the next available time slot was 8:30 so we called to verify this - hoping we could be seated earlier. The hostess said, no guarantees but just come in and maybe a spot will open up ... 120+ minutes later we were seated at 8:30. The food itself reminded me of trendy type chain restaurants - Joey Tomatoes, Earls, depending on the location - Moxies, etc. We ordered the salmon tartar (EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!) and the duck poutine (what brought us to the restaurant) for our appetizer. According to my husband, the duck poutine was his favourite western dish on our trip. Even better than his duck crepe - what?!?!?!? The salmon tartare was so flavourful ... my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Capers, lemon, onion, garlic - OMG. The gravy to the duck poutine was quite good, there were also some caramelized onions, and the fries were seasoned and relatively crispy. It was good but I actually preferred the poutine from Reuben's. The poutine from Reuben's was also larger and cheaper. There is no way I would have been satisfied with ordering just the duck poutine as a meal. We split a pasta dish - some sort of asparagus, special cheese, and proscuitto concoction. It was disappointingly bland and memorably bad - in my opinion. The parmesan cheese that was sprinkled on was SWEET ... yuck. I didn't even see or taste any proscuitto. Our server was nice but seemed really "new". We had mentioned to him that we would be splitting our pasta dish so our pasta dish was brought out split into two dishes. BUT!!!! our two mini pasta dishes were given to my husband and to my cousin (she had ordered the same thing since it had sounded so delicious). My brother who also ordered the same thing received one full serving and we just assumed the discrepancy in serving size was a human error. So, my husband and I proceeded to split our MINI serving. Then, another pasta dish came out and we said we didn't order it so it was sent away. Okay, so everyone at our table was just like "oh well" But, I was upset ... I really felt like I should say something. I had been waiting for two+ hours and was hungry and didn't think it was fair that I was paying $16 for a SMALL plate of BAD pasta. I asked the waiter when he stopped by our table about the discrepancy in serving size about the pasta dishes - since my dish was noticeably less than my brother's dish and the dish that they had brought out but we stupidly waved away (my girl cousin's dish). He quickly gave the explanation - which makes me think he knew what was going on but was choosing to let the situation slide.... I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but I really do think he was willing to let me starve with my 1/4 of a serving of bad pasta. The bad thing is that this ALSO happened with a Duck Poutine that my brother and boy cousin were going to share ... my boy cousin mentioned that the shared serving of duck poutine seemed so much less than our poutine. But, we just said "oh well - what can you do" And sure enough, another poutine was brought to our table but we stupidly waved it away. So, we were "cheated" of a poutine ... but with this, nobody had said anything... And the thing is, my cousin's boyfriend said that our waiter was actually NOT new ... he had been served by the same waiter a year ago! And that he also seemed "new" at that time too, hehe. Okay, so enough venting. Well, with all the amazing and ethnically diverse food in Montreal, I highly doubt I'll want to return. I prefer mom and pop type restaurants anyway :)

Everything was served hot and packed with plenty of flavor. Definitely recommend adding their chili crunch to the pizzas. The pizza ovens are huge here and each pizza had the perfect crispy crunch. When you enter there's plenty of indoor seating and a large bar. I loved the high ceilings and open kitchen concept. Upstairs is reserved for private events and there was a nice outdoor patio. Highly recommend coming here for some quality Italian.

We parked underground it was a Friday night so the place was buzzing. We were lucky to get a table right away. You could make reservation via OpenTable however there is a deposit required and we didn't want to pay in case we couldn't make it so we took our chance. There were two hosts. The younger gentleman was friendlier than the older one. We were seated and it took awhile before our server came to say hi. I think there is a different level of service if you could speak French or not. We ordered the calamari and shrimp to start, it was SO good. The calamari was nicely breaded and the shrimp was tasty. We ordered two pizzas to try. One was the margarita and the other was Americana (comes with prosciutto - it was too salty so I could finish the meat portion). The Mac and cheese was really good. Our little one loved it. We asked for the truffle on the side. We didn't order any dessert because we were too full. It's a nice vibe and a great spot for a large group. It can get pretty loud so you feel like you have to yell when you are speaking. The washrooms are on the second floor. There is a patio upstairs and I saw a few tables. The vibe I. The main dining room is where everything is happening. It's a nice area to shop and eat.
