On our way, we stepped off the highway to grab a quick bite and fill up some gas and pick up some coffee. Saw Pizza Pizza and decided let's see if non- dairy cheeze had reached NS. We knew ON had it, but weren't expecting in NS. As soon as we stepped we saw a sign in front of the cashier about vegan options. I was almost ready to fall off with surprise. In our experience in ON once we had a Vegan Pizza with one topping. We found that the cheeze quantity was way too less. We decided to go with one topping and extra cheeze. The order was quickly processed and the person was quite pleasant. The Pizza came out quicker than we anticipated. As the pizza was still warm by the time we dug in - it was mouth-gasm!! The gooey cheeze, not entirely melted, but tasted good. Crust baked perfectly and vegan cheeze, not as good as the real thing, but satisfied the craving. Ordered 20 breaded wings, asked for two different types of sauces. They refused to just give an extra box to separate the wings or just wrap them separately. So they gave us 20 breaded wings with 2 tiny packs of the dipping sauces they had. Just do what everyone else does and send a cup of sauce if we have to toss them ourselves. Never use the phone line, just order online. The phone was a huge pain, and the connection was not clear. The person on the phone had a hard accent, making it even harder to communicate. Solid, fast 15-20min pizza. Clean and small little pizza location. Pretty average customer service. The cashier opened my pizza to make sure I was happy with the product before I left. I ordered the 3 toping large pizza and 3 cans of pop. (14.99+tax) A little disappointed with the meatballs, but the bacon and pepperonis were great. So I have ordered here 4 times now.Its pretty inconsistant,like tnight there was 5 peeps behind counter and it took forever for someone to even ask my name for my order. And thats not the first time. I got a hair tnight! Last time my co worker ordered and swears she never will again, poor customer service leaves you wanting to go elsewhere, maybe we need another choice in Uteck. This place doesn't deliver what they advertise. The pizza is like card board and so are the "garlic fingers". This place doesn't offer sauce with its product and miss leads the customer into paying more money than they have to for their food. I went in expecting to be disappointed, and Pizza Pizza met those expectations. First, the good things. The cook/cashier was friendly and called me "sir". He also gave me a heads-up that fresh pizza was coming out in five minutes if I wanted to buy slices. I did, so that worked out perfectly for me. I was hoping to give a review that was based on a freshly-cooked product. The pizzas that came out of the oven were Hawaiian and (I assume) Meat Lover's. I took home one slice of each. Each slice is quite large, and looks to be about 1/4 of a medium pizza. Their slices are CHEAP! It cost under $10 for two of them. Now the bad stuff. The quality of the pizza reminded me of grocery store freezer-section pizza, except it's already cooked for you. Have you ever seen ads for "Delissio" pizza? "It's not delivery, it's Delissio." Well now that I've tried Pizza Pizza for myself, I'm sure that one who regularly orders from here could be fooled into thinking a frozen grocery store pizza is the same thing. What a shame. The Hawaiian slice that I bought seemed to be undercooked. I didn't enjoy it at all. The (probably) Meat Lover's slice was better, but still not what I'd call "good". The over-strong taste of the various meat toppings helped to disguise the blandness of everything else. Other than being really inexpensive pizza, I don't know what this place has going for it. There are two pizza shops that are very close by that sell a superior product and only cost a little bit more: Martha's and Pizza Girls. If you're getting delivery, and you care more about GOOD pizza, rather than CHEAP pizza, then I'd recommend Tomaso's Pizzeria every time. They have free delivery to this part of Bedford. Sorry Pizza Pizza, your pizza is not good. Maybe you should rebrand as "Pizza Pizza Pizza"? Third "pizza" might be the charm? read more

Well this was visit #2...maybe 3 in this new pizza joint in my community. Its not my preference for taste, however--its convenient. And I think thats what they have going for them. I called in an order for pick up. Ordered a Pizza and Garlic Fingers. Timing was quick, was ready almost just as I walked in. Great. 25.00 for a Med Pizza (2 topping) and Med Garlic Fingers. I had planned to leave my change behind...was under a dollar, however---I would have liked to have the option to do so. I was handed the receipt, pizzas and a "have a good night". No change. I get home, and once again---no donair sauce for the garlic fingers. This has happened probably each time we've ordered from there. And it was even noted on the receipt copy. Pizza is OK, Garlic fingers---are not worth the money. They lack flavor. I find its like mozza loaded onto a pizza crust almost? And found the crust very tough. From now on, I will take the extra 5 mins and order from my usual--fav spot around the corner where we receive consistently good service and great food! read more

First visit, no problem other than slow.Second visit, during Friday night was chaos, too many employees not knowing what to do, people standing waiting for late orders and lost orders completely. I came here for supper, it's was 5 on a Wednesday night, I was going to get the 2 slices of pizza for 5 dollars. Unfortunately they only had one piece that I liked. So I contemplated getting the 5.99 medium pepperoni pizza but when I asked they said t would be a 25 minute wait. The two reasons I gave this a 3 star rating was because it took a while for anyone to acknowledge me and the fact they only had 1 slice ready. For a pizza place around supper time that really confuses me and if you go into any other place in Halifax you'll find they have at least 3 or four different varieties of slices, let alone more than 1 slice. read more

We are vegan and gluten-free, which makes finding pizza near to impossible. When we called to ask about the new cauliflower crust, we were surprised to hear the amazing ingredients. We immediately placed an order and drove over to pick it up. When we arrived they had made everything to order, except there was cheese on the pizza. We apologetically asked them to remake it without cheese and they immediately got to work on it. Within a few minutes we had a cheeseless, perfectly-vegan, gluten-free (cauliflower crust, but they also offer another gluten-free crust). We couldn't believe how tasty it was! We both said it was probably one of the best pizzas we've ever had, even from when we ate cheese and weren't gluten-free. The crust was amazing soft and delicious, and the toppings were fresh. Pizza that I ordered for delivery was cold. When I went in to tell the guy he told me that I could call back when the manager was in. I honestly don't have the patience to come back and get 15 dollars for pizza that tasted like cardboard. Later that week I stop by to get dipping sauce and the staff just didn't care.. so much so they gave me the sauce for free because they just wanted to go back and continue their chat.
