This place was recommended, and if you look through the reviews, you will see it has high reviews. With that said, it was ok at best. And with me saying that it is probably a compliment. The service was good; the food quality was eeehh ok. One of our pizzas was utterly underdone. What I think really irked me was when I looked over the bill. I usually do not pay attention, but I decided to this time. Hidden on the bill is a mandatory 18% gratuity/service charge. If you do not pay attention, you will end up double tipping, which I am sure happens often. Was the quality of the food anything to write home about or make me come out of my way to eat here again? As I said, for me, it was ok at best.

I ordered via DoorDash. This place is so mid. Mid pizza that tastes frozen and garlic bread drier than the desert

Pizza & Garlic Bread!! The best pizza I've ever had- the sauce is just solo good!!! We came to Miami and ate here everyday!!! Delicious!!

Fun environment and such great food!! We ate here 4 nights in a row because nothing compares to the flavor of his food!!

Pepperoni pizza was fantastic - as others have said the more toppings the less crispy, the Supreme was a bit soggy/toppings fell off but still had excellent flavor. Staff was a gem.

Casual and cute. Pizza is great. Exterior is unassuming. We enjoyed our dinner. Try the Barese. We loved it!

Came here on a weekday evening, sat inside, and was greeted right away by an employee. The restaurant ambiance was nice, not too cold, and music was not blasting, which was great! We had garlic bread and meat lovers pizza, and ate everything! The garlic bread was unique and the sauce was amazing. The pizza was perfect size for two people. Our server was really attentive, professional, and on point! He deserves a raise!

The service was out of this world!! The pizza and the staff are authentic Italian and I've never had chili oil that good before. Beautiful location for a late night dinner with a view.

Neapolitan and Sicilian pizzas are authentic. Also tried the Napoli calzone. This was also superb. Bravo Pizza Pazza!! And they are open late which is good if you have guests arriving late into Miami.

The most delicious pizzas and pasta 1:1 like in Italy Service is great too When you in Miami downtown visit this ama place

Not a place for pasta- undercooked microwave penne Alfredo chicken-shame cause so close to my apt - chicken hard as a rock maybe you get better luck with pizza

An opulent failed attempt at fine dining…read more At first glance, the place is impressive -- beautiful cars outside, constant traffic of guests walking in, crisp white tablecloths setting the stage for what appears to be a refined dining experience. Unfortunately, the illusion fades rather quickly. The first sign of trouble arrives with the server sporting a rather impressive lip piercing, followed closely by a colleague whose diamond nose stud could probably be seen from space. Not exactly the ambiance one expects when aiming for "elegant." Despite the abundance of servers floating around the dining room, none seem to notice when your knife dramatically dives off the table and lands on the floor -- where it enjoys a long, lonely stay. Water service is also quite innovative: they simply leave the entire bottle at the table, which seems less about generosity and more about avoiding the inconvenience of returning to refill your glass. The food? Sadly just as uninspired. From the octopus to the $68 Milanese, every dish managed the impressive feat of being completely flavorless. The Milanese arrived with a beautiful crust, which raised hopes... until you realized there was no sauce, no garnish, and nothing to rescue what turned out to be a remarkably bland plate. Meanwhile, the staff appears deeply committed to minimizing effort -- though not shy about judging you directly when the tip doesn't meet their expectations. All in all, this place feels like fine dining in costume. Perhaps a return to the basics of hospitality and service would be a good start... followed by a serious conversation with whoever is currently in the kitchen. Good luck to anyone brave enough to give it a try.

The food was incredible and of course the famous Spicy Rigatoni Vodka did not disappoint, it was definitely one of my favorites! One of my favorite parts of the experience was the tableside Caesar salad. They made it fresh right in front of you which was such a fun touch and it was absolutely delicious. I also had an espresso martini, which was so good! We ended the night with dessert and got to try a little of everything from the dessert cart, such a fun way to finish the meal. Everything from the food to the atmosphere made this a memorable dining experience. It's definitely on the pricier side but I think it's worth it for a special night out. I would 100% come back!

They knew the menu well, could make recommendations, etc. The AMBIANCE: Its a very cool place. Mysterious and subdued. Definitely a place to BE SEEN! Drinks: Very good though some seemed as if they put much less liquor than what the drink really needed, i.e. various martinis we all questioned on the amount of alcohol in them. Food: First, its a very cool touch that they bring out salamis and some nice breads. Overall though we really were not impressed with the food. Calamari - Not very good. Everyone took one bite and left the rest. Pasta dishes - We ordered MANY different ones. The portion that comes out will not feed a child. One pasta was undercooked, one was over cooked and mushy. One was just OK. Fish Dish - over cooked unfortunately and this was the most expensive dish we had. Chicken - came out and was so rubbery. No one liked it. Desserts - They all looked good. Chocolate cake was the best. Banana flambe was fun to watch but the result was much less than stellar. Cost - This may just be the priciest Italian-esque restaurant that I have ever been to. Prepare to be shocked by the final bill while still being hungry. Will we go back? Probably but just for a drink at the bar. Definitely not the food.

I still think about these two dishes to this day. Inside is quite cozy for a nice dinner or happy hour meal, but note it's quite small so seating can be taken up fast - inside was busy. The hostesses (2) told us 45', we agreed. I asked to go to the bar to have drinks, we were told we couldn't (the bar had some open seats). I said OK, I'll order the drink and we wait outside, hostess was annoyed at that suggestion. She said if we wanted a drink, we'd have to go to their sister restaurant (which was packed). After 1hr 15' (we stayed outside waiting, no drinks), we checked in and the hostess rudely told us that she can't foresee when people will leave. So we took our $350 check to Hillstones, where they value regulars. We have dined at Luca before and love their food, but seems like success has gotten to the hostess' heads. Restaurants, especially in Miami, succeed and survive from the loyal locals, not from tourists nor fads. Seems that Luca has forgotten that. We're happy to take our business elsewhere, even a chain restaurant who values repeat customers.

Safe to say the dishwashers were fans of us. The service was impeccable. Food and drinks came out quick, waters were refilled promptly, and our server Alessandro made sure we were taken care of. Instead of enjoying the meal, I felt cramped and uncomfortable the entire time. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely disappointing. Charging premium prices while serving such small portions is embarrassing. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Shame on them!!!! Please don't go.
