One star is too much I ordered the cauliflower crust pizza because I'm gluten free I asked for the veggie pizza but all i wanted was mushrooms tomatoes olives and jalapeño First off i was charged an additional $1.50 for each topping. The pizza itself was $18.50 without toppings I guess I asked for no cheese because I don't eat dairy. And I asked for them to be generous with the vegetables. Well the pizza came and there was hardly any veggies on it. What a sad looking pizza. I ate it because I was hungry. I ate over 5 hours ago and aim still burping from that pizza I am literally sick from that food. My mouth was so dry after eating that I can't believe how bad that food was. Disgusting! Very disappointing experience here, came in with my two year-old ordered a grilled cheese and fries for him and a pizza. Asked for the grilled cheese to come out first, obviously for the baby, never saw the waitress for 45 minutes when she brought out the grilled cheese and pizza together grilled cheese was cold, as if it been done sitting on the shelf. By then I asked for boxes because I had fed my kid snack snacks from his bag. I wasn't gonna say anything, but the place was not busy maybe eight people in there. I called when I got home expressed my concerns to the owner. She was very nice but all she said was we hope you come back in and try it again. I've worked as a cook. Every piece of the 1/4"-1/3" small pieces of chicken on the chicken BBQ pizza were tough and chewy. I spit them out because they had the consistency of paper or cardboard. Between my fingers, the spat out chicken felt stringy and tough. That's too bad, because they have a good tasting sauce & nice crust, and they are either storing or cooking their chicken incorrectly. Are they using chicken with freezer burn? It is dried out. Are they partly cooking it, then recooking it after they put it on the dough with the sauce and cheese? read more

We ordered the specials posted at the door. Slice and wings, it's a personal pizza and 5 wings. Wings were cooked perfect, pizza crust was flavorless. Also ordered the grinder special 1/2 grinder and cup of potato ham soup. Soup was good nice and hot. 1/2 Grinder was roast beef, ham, and turkey. Had very little lettuce, lots of onions and 1 slice of tomato roll was very big but delicious, I asked for Italian dressing since sandwich was dry, the dressing wasn't the best. I brought 1/2 of the grinder home and it was delicious the next day. Service was good food was quick and place was clean. Others around us ordered salads and pasta. Portions were huge. Lots of choices on the menu. Next time will try a pasta dish. read more

Celebrated our Dad's 80th Birthday at the Pizza Palace in their solarium room! We had plenty of room for the thirty people we hosted! We were able to decorate , order a cheese and veggie platter and have dedicated wait staff to ensure everyone was taken care of! The food was great and the service was top notch! We were served timely and they ensured everyone was satisfied with their food! It's difficult to feed 30 people around the same time and they did a great job! I was brought here because I heard the wings were the best in town. And let me tell you, the were AMAZING! We had their house specialty sauce but instead of mild we asked for hot. And it was so good. I hate having to write negative reviews, but I guess nobody knows how to do their jobs correctly/: So I'm looking for a place to get grinders and a pizza. So, I order a grinder with ham, cheese, bacon, and ranch and my son Oliver orders a grinder with turkey, lettuce, bacon, and mayonnaise. Pizza Palace has great tasting food that's if they can get the order right. We placed our order over the phone for delivery at 5:30 pm. After about an hour they delivered it. The pizza was completely wrong. I ordered their medium phat palace pie which comes with pepperoni, sausage, ham, bacon, salami & meatballs. I requested they leave off the salami & meatballs.. The one I received was a large with everything I dislike, green peppers, mushrooms and onions. So the driver went back and ordered the correct pizza. I received a call to verify what the correct pizza was. She said it takes 1/2 to cook we will bring it right after. Well 7:00 rolled around, then at almost 7:30 the driver brings the correct pizza. There was a difference of $7 in the pizzas and keep in mind the tip was based on the total order. So they gave us a $10 gift certificate to make up for it. WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE! They owed me $7 so I really only got a $3 gift certificate. And the clincher was the 2nd pizza was lukewarm. I love their food but will never order from them again. read more

I'm changing my review based on the actions of a manager on several occasions. The manager berated an employee in front of all the customers. The manager made a mistake but was taking it out on the employee who was only trying to help. I know she's a manager because when I asked to speak to a manager regarding her inappropriate behavior I was told that the woman causing the scene WAS the manager. This is the second time I've witnessed this behavior in the past 6 months I can not dine in an establishment where management has no respect for their hard working staff or their customers. read more

This was our first tile eating out at pizza palace and we enjoyed it . Our server LIV was so nice checked on us and our meal was perfect just the way we ordered it. I'm between a 3/4 on rating.... I would not recommend the hoagies. The bun tastes like a big hot dog bun. I got an Italian and didn't finish it. Didn't care for the meat or lack of lettuce ...now I did get the palace special pizza. It's pretty good. The sausage topping is amazing highly recommend getting that. Only complaint is that this is a heavy pizza due to all the toppings. The pizza could have been cooked for another minute or 2. Middle of the pizza was a little soft/soggy. Overall had a great taste. I'll probably give them another try on my stay here and just get a pepperoni/sausage pizza. Medium pizza and hoagie was $25. Not terrible. Just mad I threw money away on that awful hoagie. read more

Pizza Palace is a very large restaurant; the parking lot was near full when I arrived, however; I was seated almost immediately and the waitress arrived shortly thereafter . Ordered a Labatt Blue thinking it would be a bottle but it arrived in a chilled pint glass as it was on draft, the draft system was obviously well maintained and cleaned regularly as this draft beer was perfect. Ordered a small salad, wings and a small personal pizza, I was told by the waitress all the dressings are made in house, so I went with the ranch on the salad and blue cheese for the wings. The ranch was absolutely the very best ranch dressing I have ever had anywhere, totally remarkable and the blue cheese was exceptional as well. I always order plain wings with a variety of sauces and here again their dipping sauces were as near perfect as you will find any any restaurant. The Pizza is Greek style with a nice crisp crust crunch, a flavorful sauce and stringy mozzarella cheese. The service was spectacular given how busy they were; the price point is modest and this resto is highly organized and does things extremely well. read more

Had lunch on their new beautiful covered patio today. My friends and I had a little bit of everything. Deluxe nachos were fantastic, Wings were cooked extra crispy just the way we like and the wing sauces are always tasty. The pizza was golden brown and definitely freshly made. I would've taken pictures but we devoured it too quickly. We sampled the homemade cannolis and they were great. Our waitress was super friendly and very accommodating since we walked in with a large group. I love coming here and even on the few instances I had a problem the staff was very apologetic and fixed the problem quick fast and in a hurry. It is my favorite local restaurant! read more

After have issues with Zachary's ridiculous hours and refusing to eat anything from Dino's, I turned again to Pizza Palace. One word: amazed. The pizza was SO much better than Zachary's, they make their own ranch and blue cheese, their wings are OUTSTANDING. All I can say is I am happy I gave this place another shot after a few years. Watched an elderly man behind the bar full his glass with beer and go back to visiting with the three guys sitting at the bar next to me. My buddy shows up so we take a table next to the bar. The four guys at bar leave (go to kitchen area), we move to the empty bar seats and watch 2 people come in the door, a waitress fills two beers and serve them at the table we just sat at. Still nothing... Five minutes later elderly woman asks if we're being helped, i said "no after 15 minutes", she says I'll get a waitress. I said we just want a beer, she said I'll get someone as she walks by the tap. 4 beers, 1 small pizza, 1 small nacho and a $50 bill later... I'll never going back and never recommending. This is some of the best pizza I have experienced since I moved from the city to the Adirondacks! Our very attentive server Brooke made us aware that all of the rolls, garlic bread, and pizza crust are made fresh daily. Let me tell you this crust is to die for! Light, airy, crisp everything you want but rarely find in a homemade crust. All of the toppings were fresh I especially enjoyed the spicy Italian sausage. The wings held their own as well! They are using a fresh chicken wing unlike most places that now use the standard frozen wing you see at the " major" wing joints. The wings were crispy, juicy, tossed in the perfect amount of house sauce with a little heat and sweet that made want you to keep eating them. I will be visiting again real soon! read more
