$5.50 charge for using a credit card!!!! Are these people insane?????? - A printed receipt from Nonnalisa's restaurant located at 20 Plattsburgh Plaza, Plattsburgh, NY, dated October 4, 2024, at 7:54 PM. The receipt lists food items including fettuccine Alfredo, chicken francese, garlic bread with cheese, side house tossed salad, pasta, and coffee, along with their prices. A pen is placed at the bottom of the receipt, partially covering it. The background appears to be a dark surface, possibly a table or counter.

Not a good experience from start to finish! To start off I called to place a take out order at 6:45. I was told by the rude women who answered to hold for a minute. I was left in hold for 10 minutes and the entire time I could hear the conversations the women was having with other employees. They were laughing and talking about non work related topics. So basically I was holding so the workers could socialize. Very unprofessional!!! So I hung up after 10 minutes and called back. Told the same women I wanted to place my take out order, she was so nasty at this point. So I ordered two dinners and one app, was told it would be an hour. Ok no big deal. So when we tried the food it basically just wasn't very good for the most part. My husband's Alfredo was so watery it was like soup. Basically tasted like garlic milk. Not good. My chicken francase was undercooked so I couldn't eat it because I didn't want to get sick. The side salad and garlic bread were the only decent parts of the meal. The part I was so angry about was when I looked at my receipt I noticed they had added a lot of ridiculous charges!!! The garlic cheese bread was on the menu as $6 and I was charged $7, the chicken Frances's was on the menu as $17 and I was charged $22!!!! Next there was a pasta charge of $2.50 which I never ordered or received an extra pasta, also there was a completely crazy charge of $5.50 for using a debit card! Was never told that would occur by the rude lady on the phone or we would have paid cash!!!! This place basically ripped me off an extra $14 with all their bs!! Two dinners and garlic bread came to almost $70!!! Wtf? It wasn't even good food. I would suggest steering clear of this place unless you want to be ripped off

Food is homemade, fresh and delicious . Service is friendly. The restaurant was nice and clean.

Lasagna - A serving of lasagna with melted cheese and sauce is placed on a colorful, patterned plate on an outdoor table. A piece of bread with butter is on a small plate nearby, along with a fork and a spoon. A bottle of water is also on the table. The setting is outside a restaurant with a storefront sign reading 'Plaza Barber Shop' visible in the background, along with parked cars and a sidewalk.

The best lasagna I have ever tasted. It's run by two sisters, who use their family recipes and serve wonderful Italian food. I've been coming here for a couple years and it's always the same: the best!!

Lasagna - A black plastic takeout container contains a portion of lasagna with layers of pasta, cheese, and meat sauce. The top layer features melted cheese with some browned spots. A white plastic fork is inserted into the lasagna, and the container is placed on a wooden surface. The background shows part of the table surface and a blurred object.

I met up with a couple family members I hadn't seen in a while. We ate here and the food was delicious.

First time here and literally I couldn't improve on one thing. Absolutely great from the drinks to…read morethe food. We will be back!

After checking numerous reviews and website menus, It appeared to me that Twisted Carrot was one of…read morethe most interesting restaurants in the area, in terms of menu and atmosphere. My dinner experience there certainly lived up to expectations. The restaurant is small, seating maybe about 30 people. I wouldn't call it intimate, but I would call it friendly. The menu items are enjoyably named, with some interesting ingredient and flavor combinations. Service is fast and friendly; 3 servers can take care of all the tables quite nicely, with time for fun conversation as you go. The cocktail list is small, and the drinks are simply garnished, but everything we tried was quite flavorful and reasonably priced. As an appetizer, the Moo Moo Dippers, filled with shaved ribeye and corned beef and combined with the remoulade sauce for dipping. were addicting. My salmon filet came atop a bed of roasted sweet potato and corn hash and a sauce on top to give it more interesting presentation and flavor. The pork medallions were similarly appealing. We passed on dessert, because most of the offerings had some form of caffeine in them (e.g., boozy affogato), but I'm certain they would have been equally delicious. I was surprised the restaurant closed so early on days they're actually open, i.e., 8pm. So if you want convenient dining, get there early for dinner, because it does fill up.
