Asked a question about the bill, and the lady was so nasty. Been ordering the same pizza a few times a month for about six months and she's telling me it's been the same price and walks away... giving me a dirty look. Pizza is good. However, the subs are bad (the bread is awful). since they apparently don't respect their customers, won't be going back. I'm sure they'll be fine without my business. read more

My go-to for a calzone in Plattsburgh, always delicious and affordable. I always get takeout and it is always fast and friendly

Bazzano's Pizza - 18" Vegetarian Pizza with White Sauce - Pizza Near Me - Plattsburgh, New York

Never had a bad meal here, staff is always friendly. The place is little outdated but the food makes up for it. Good old fashioned Hometown pizza place. Definitely highly recommend read more

Veggie sub- Overcooked grilled onions and red peppers. Black olives and about 2 cups of melted cheese. I asked for mayo but it comes dry. 12$ for this? No lettuce, tomato ? I'd rather start eating meat again. #lazy #cheaplymade read more

Bazzano's Pizza - A Veggie Sub - Pizza Near Me - Plattsburgh, New York

Best pizza ever. Great service. Never had a bad meal here. Okay I love our server she remembers us and what we like even if it's been awhile since we were there. She is a great friendly person. read more

Decent pizza, unfortunately it's pretty much the best thing they have. The other menu items are fillers for the menu. I've had more misses than hits. I recently ordered a turkey sub, bread was dry and falling apart. Cheese was starting to harden on the edges and the tomatoes were not good at all. Restaurant is not the cleanest, mostly food for college students who live nearby. read more

Went in to pick up an order I placed and paid for online. The women working were extremely rude to my husband because he didn't know exactly what I had ordered. I had tipped them in the app I used to order. Sure wish I hadn't. read more

I can't believe that this only has barely 3 stars I always love their pizza the people are always nice and the wings are off the hook really good quality food as far as pizza and wings go I recommend it highly best pizza in Plattsburgh read more

I've been here a few times with people that don't mind eating bad food just because they have a sense of familiarity with the place. The servers tend to be very unhelpful and not very friendly and the food is not good at all. Low quality ingredients and an unpleasant environment, no thanks. read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would, I called to order and was hung up on twice, this was at 2pm in the afternoon. Finally after a woman rudely answered phone I placed an order and told her I would be using my card, like I do at every other restaurant, she then told me she didn't have enough time to take the cc number and hung up the phone on me. This was the last straw after receiving a half cooked pizza that was falling apart on one side, sound familiar?! I am furious and will never go to or recommend this place to anyone. read more

I tried to order pizza from Bazzanos. But they made me order twice and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't pay twice. Also, when I got them, the chicken wings looked like moose knuckles, sorry but they did. read more

Im from Brooklyn & extremely picky about my pizza. Crust is excellent - crispy & chewy. Good quality cheese and home made sauce. Fresh toppings too!! The wings are also great!! read more

It wasn't the puddle of vegetable water in the center of the pan that was sogging our pizza. It wasn't the amount of flies annoyingly buzzing about the tables. It was, however, waiting to use the restroom and witnessing an employee hurriedly exit with the toilet bowl water still swirling from the flush. "Let's go back to Bazzano's anyway!" said no hygienic person ever. read more

I stopped in on a Friday evening a few weeks ago on a break from the local Bombardier plant. My order for a turkey sub was taken promptly. I found it interesting how the friendly face of an attendant at an order window falls sour when you fail to stick money in the "tip jar." I never had a tip jar when I made subs during college summer jobs. jezzzz. The turkey sub was very good BTW. read more

Horrible from the start. Read the reviews, went anyway. Waitresses were lame. One grumbled " I don't know anything about that" when asked about a coupon. Another made loud inappropriate comments to an elderly patron at another table. Food was bad. Worst pizza I have ever eaten. Toppings and cheese slid off the crust. Calzone tasted like burnt dirt. Everyone in family had stomach pain that night. More flies than customers the night we ate there. Service: Bad Food: Bad Ambience: Bad Flies: Eat for free read more

Just another mediocre pizza place in Plattsburgh. I've always had great experiences with the staff here, but the product itself leaves much to be desired. It definitely does the trick if you're in the mood for pizza, but it won't be a mind blowing experience. They have a parking lot which definitely helps their cause. They also have a decent sized dining area. You will also get less of the drunk crowd compared to Bono downtown. These are all pluses that work in their favor. Product though? Eh... Does the job. read more

Ugh... Really.. Amongst the worst food I've had in quite some time. If there was a way to give it negative stars, I'd find it. Let's start with the Chicken Parm. Thick, slightly undercooked, whatever breading was on it slid right off revealing a piece of gray matter. The objective I'd imagine was to just cover this mess up in a sea of mealy, mushy spaghetti that cooked 20 minutes longer than it should have. This food camouflage was further disgraced by their version of what I can only describe as "kitchen sink gravy" Who puts mushrooms, peppers, huge ribbons of yellows onion in a simple marina sauce. And wait... Not that you'd be ordering chicken if you were a vegetarian but... I think they should reveal that their sauce isn't sauce. It's meat gravy. Sausage, Chopped meat... Other unknown meats. Wierd. The sauce was overcooked giving it a deep red color. Nothing "fresh" about it. Awful. Now... I wasn't the only one... We ordered for 15pp. Nobody was happy. Pasta dishes were overcooked and underwhelming.. Everything needed salt. Salads were overdressed wilting the lettuce. The bread was doughy and lacked anything interesting. The Pepsi was amazing. But they had nothing to do with it. Save your money, look around for an alternative. I hope this helps. read more

I go to Bazzanos probably 4 or 5 times a week for a slice of pizza. If I'm feeling daring, I'll order something else off of their huge menu. Everything is good, but my favorite is the chicken wings (50 for $20! woo!), chicken wing pizza (with extra hot sauce), and the BBQ chicken pizza, though there are many other good things to choose from. The staff is always friendly even though they always seem busy. The only thing that could make it better is a crosswalk across Catherine St so I don't have to dodge traffic everytime I go there! read more

So Bono's is busy, and you have a hankering for pizza. Bazzano's is a wonderful and hometown friendly pizza place, with much better seating and delivery than Bonos. It's also much more peaceful and family friendly than Bono's, which can get overrun with college kids (not that that's a bad thing, but some people may want to avoid that. They also have more eating options if you are hankering for more than a slice or a calzone. As well as some specials (drink and a slice, etc.) which is an incentive for me. Another major plus is the staff. They are actually friendly and helpful (you're not going to get that at Bonos), and they will wait on you... imagine that! Even if you're heading from DT, its not too far of a walk, and there is even an interesting if not sketchy pawn shop across the street to explore. read more

Do not order from Bazzano's because my friend paid over $27 for a pizza that he never got and that was including the delivery charge so do not order from Bazzano's again read more

Love the pizza, hate the service. Person answering the phone acted as if she was doing me a favor by taking my order. I reminded her that she was in a customer service industry and hung up. I miss the pizza but not the service. read more

Took over an hour to get my food. Ridiculous. Food wasn't even hot. Only reason I ordered this was because others won't deliver far enough.

I got pizza from here. Ordered delivery, they said it would be 40 minutes. I thought that strange since they were pretty close. Got my pizza in 40 minutes. It was ok for pizza. Hot and filling, that's all that mattered. I ordered a small pizza, and it was almost $17 with tax. I thought that as a little steep. read more

Check in at my hotel, ask what's open and get handed a sheet for Bazzano's for delivery. I remember this place, love the wings and calzones. Call to order, get hung up on 3 times with someone mumbling something I cannot understand. On the fourth call, finally a woman answers and tells me that they are closed. I'm like, well the website says 3:00 AM copyright 2017. She then tells me, they haven't been open to 3:00 AM for at least 3 years. Now, I am upset and will never do business there again. Ugh, sharing this everywhere. 14 thumbs down. read more

Okay. So.. when I lived in Plattsburgh I worked there. Let me just say people that aren't from the area, that don't know about it, are the ONLY ones that are rating it highly (note all the people from California and other far away states in these reviews rate it highly....exponentially lower ratings from locals). Bad for several reasons: Quality: Cut corners in every single direction and place possible in the pizza process, including the cheese for the pizza which is now a cheaper cheese not a quality one. Staff/Owner: Owner is infamously scrupulous with his workers. Also known for cutting corners (see "Quality"). Hygiene/Cleanliness: Not clean in the kitchen, mess everywhere, don't even have a dishwasher, so if someone's feeling aggravated with their work (which workers who make no money usually are) their aptitude to do a great job scrubbing everything is not very high. In summary: Every time I come home I would love to hear that it's closed because people finally stopped supporting them. FOR GOOD PIZZA, look up and head to: 1) Pizza Palace (Tom Miller Road) 2) New York Pizza (down near the Mill i.e. Georgia Pacific) that does a fantastic job, is a guy from downstate who knows what he's doing. 3) Pasquale's (Peru, about 15 minute drive out) read more

We order from this place regularly and there was an incident where the order was wrong so we sent the food back and asked for the correct order. They sent the food back and they got it wrong again. We asked for a refund and was yelled at by an employee. We were refused from speaking to the manager twice from two separate employees. We will never order from this place again read more

We order from them because the are the only place that delivers here. The Pizza WAS good. But Now I would rather eat Cardboard. At least I would get some fiber. We got a pepperoni pizza last night and we have had stomach pains and visiting the toilet often. And not to mention the charged us $5 more than usual. Gas prices are down. I usually tip the driver but NOT ANYMORE. They dont have the college kids so they are taking the loss on loyal customers. I wasted money that I needed for stomach pain medicine. Word of caution. Have stomach and bowel medicine handy when ordering from Bazzanos Pizza. Buyer beware.. read more

Solid pizza option. Caters to college crowd. Service is OK, there is onsite seating. Pizza is closest thing to Long Island/NYC pizza. This is our 1st place pizza takeout option in PBG, second place is Pizza Bono, third is Guiseppe's. read more

Place is kinda gross! Pizza is gross. Wings are gross. Facilities are gross! Skip this place!

Absolutely horrified by the customer service and quality of food we received from Bazzano's. This post isn't about the food, which was under cooked and overly greasy, it is about the customer service from the owner. When I called this morning to inform the manager, only because I thought he should know, not because I was expecting anything return, he rudely badgered me with questions and ended our conversation (which was primarily his yelling) with "fuck you, don't call back here". As a local, there are many more well respected establishments than this one! Please save your money and time! read more

Every time I travel to upstate New York to visit family stopping in at Bazzanos is a must. We have been dining here for years and have never left disappointed. The pizzas are delicious, and the slices are HUGE! We always get a special that comes with buffalo wings. The wings are very tasty and crispy. I always look forward to stopping in for lunch or dinner when I'm in the area! read more

I just had the worst chicken Caesar wrap of my entire life. It was HOT, loosely wrapped, and they added olives, which DO NOT GO IN CAESAR SALAD! I thought to myself, after I put the wrap down in disgust, "Well, at least they can't screw up poutine!" Well, it turns out the cook is a clairvoyant telepath. He heard my thought from the future and declared, "CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!" Because that was the most horrendously combined French fries with curds and gravy I have ever seen. The fries were soggy, as if they had been thrown in a pot of hot water rather than fried or even boiled. They should feature it as a custom dish of theirs and call it pouting, because it's upsetting to eat. I will say they did use real cheese and the chicken was at one time living. read more

Staff isn't always friendly and dine in service is lacking. I usually order delivery though which always arrives quickly and still hot. Pizza is good but not great. I have had better but I have also had a lot worse. They deliver late on weekends so that is another big plus. Salads are also always fresh and portion size is excellent! read more
