Large cheese and pep
Tommy B.

White pizza is phenomenal. I am usually a cheese and pep only guy but every now and then I need to branch out. Loved having the white pie, and the extra toppings on the other one. Coulda been cooked a touch more but always good. I like it well done from PO

Waiting for our slices from a fresh pie!!

There is no place quite like pizza oven. No pizza quite like it either. Always a pie ready to be sliced and individually divy'd out for everyone's enjoyment. Only one person serving the masses though so I had to be patient. She was properly gloved and masked and a nice young lady.

Pizza Oven - Small double Pepperoni.

Another Lockport staple for many many years. Pizza Oven has one of those polarizing pizzas, that many either love or hate. Bottom line the sauce is VERY sweet. I'm more of a traditional pizza sauce person, but still very much enjoyed this place. The crust is thin, soft, with crispy burnt edges. Cup & char Pepperoni is great, and the cheese has just the right amount of pull/chew. The overall combination of flavors is very unique. I'll absolutely go back for more, but it'll be awhile - That occasion when I'm craving something different/Sweet.

My favorite pizza of all time!

I LOVE this place! It is always on my "must have" list when we visit my Hubs' family. The sweet sauce is phenomenal and typically I'm a thin crust eater but I love this crust. It's a must try if you're ever in the Lockport area!!!

Not for those looking for authentic Italian. They load the sauce with sugar the way most places in Lockport do.

Used to be one of my faves. I think the new owner has changed the sweet sauce recipe. Only average now.

It is more reasonably priced than some of it's competitors, so it gets value points there. I feel like they would be good for a party because of their price and agreeable quality. I do feel like their chicken cordon blue pizza is a little bit better than everything else on their menu, I'd give that a 4. Service is the same, no one is particularly warm, but I also feel taken care of. Can you guess what I am going to say about the atmosphere?... also adequate. Walk don't run to Papa Leos and grab a slice if you need something without breaking the bank. If you want higher quality taste and a have a little more money, their competitor a block away would get my vote.

I was told that he doesn't know how to do refunds and to call back "another time" to talk to a different manager who knows how to process refunds. Sadly, that was a mistake. I called the next day and talked to Emma who was an absolute ball of sunshine (not really, she was super rude and did not care about my experience). I politely asked for a refund and she said she would remake the food for me. I told her I didn't want that because my experience the previous night was so awful that I didn't really want to eat it again. She told me I could come pick up the cash refund (I paid with a card) that day, and that day only. Sadly I was at work so I once again politely asked for a refund to my card, which is how I purchased the food. She told me she had to call the owners, then call me back. I was told my refund would be processed in 4 days. Well, she's a liar. It's been 3 weeks and I never got it, so I won't be going back here any longer. The food is garbage and the employees that gave me the runaround are terrible at their jobs. I wouldn't recommend that you eat here.

I had lasagna- the noodles were to al dente making it chewy, cook them a few minutes longer, the food temp was warm at best. I ordered a meatball on the side, it literally fell apart when I cut into it, it should be firm and ease up on the oregano. Your sauce was very good, the fresh bread wonderful. My husband had the jumbo stuffed shells and had to request more sauce, but he enjoyed them. The French onion soup was excellent, problem here is our entree showed up before we finished, we felt rushed and couldn't enjoy it the way we would've liked. There was a great dessert selection. I had the brownie sundae and hubby had the Italian cream cake, both were very good The server was very friendly and accommodating. Her name escapes me, but we were at table #3 on New Year's eve, which was why we didn't send any food back for correction. It was very busy. The restaurant ambiance was nice, not overly noisy considering how busy they were. I might suggest a less busy time to go to this restaurant. I feel they might have been overwhelmed with the amount of guests. We have been here a few times and the food seems like it tasted better during those visits. The price of our meal was what you would expect from a mid scale restaurant including drinks and dessert.

We have dined in but that was years ago. So this review is strictly about their food and take out service. They have a separate entrance for those ordering takeout. More than 4-5 people waiting would make the space cramped. On certain days it's cramped around dinner time but it's worth it!! The main stay staff in the takeout area is Emma. She is so nice. Always a smile on her face and happiness in her voice. Great service with a smile. Now the food. We have 3 go to meals and as many go to deserts. They have a monday pasta special which we frequently enjoy. There 3 choices all at cost of $9.99 each. Good sized portions. 2 orders would comfortably feed 3. Add a meatball or sausage with sauce if you're a carnivore like me. Next we have their assorted sub. Quality meats on good bread with fresh lettuce tomato and onion. Finally there is our favorite entree, Chicken Capri. Two breaded chicken breasts over a bed of thin spaghetti in a lemon butter garlic sauce. Pair that with the complimentary bread and your choice of soup or salad and you are set!! One entree will definitely fill two bellies and, you will be full. They have a dessert display with individually packaged slices of a variety of cakes and pies. Our go to's are the homemade apple crumb pie, carrot cake, and their chocolate brownie. Mmmmm mmmm! If you're like me, be sure you have enough milk to enjoy these wonderful sweets! That's it. Village eatery is a great place for those nights you don't wanna cook yet, want a nice homemade meal.
