Brought my wife to Niagara Falls, had a problem with our rental car and the guy at the rental company said "I'm pretty picky about my Pizza" - I knew that he knew. So to Broadway Pizza for lunch. He said the Dill pizza is becoming a thing around here and they have a good one. Walked into a true Pizza place. Line of locals waiting to order. The lady and her husband were taking the orders each local she hit with small talk. Great variety of pizza cheese, white, mushroom & pepperoni, Dill and half a dozen others. You could pick your own topping of you wanted but with this selection come on ... Tables and wooden chairs your typical pizzeria- you are not here for the furniture. Excellent place. Enjoyed it so much we went back a second day over a three day span. We have a lot of pizza in my hometown, but not this specific type of pizza. This kind of pizza means it's available by the slice, with a crunchy crust, and generous toppings with the right amount of cheese. It means that the slice your order is gonna be thrown back in the oven for a couple extra minutes to warm it up. It means the people behind the counter are known nonsense and expect you to know a thing or two about the product. It means replicating which you would have in Manhattan. This place gets all of the important things right, and the product is delicious. The decor is not fancy, and it's not supposed to be. This is a pizza stand and the food is what counts. January 2024. This is one of my favorite pizza places. The owners and family are from NYC, and the area desperately needed some good NY style pizza. Walking in, there's a showcase of pizzas with different flavors and toppings, along with some rolls, calzones, and sometimes garlic knots and more. They're fully cooked slices, and they do get heated up when you order (or you can choose not to). All pizzas are made fresh daily. Between my multiple visits here, I'm always greeted by whomever is working at the front counter. Philly Pizza 10/10 One of my top 2 favorite pizzas they have. The shaved steak combination with the melted cheese is so delicious, and when you get those peppers and mushrooms in the bite it's even better. Buffalo Chicken 10/10 My other favorite in the top 2. This Buffalo chicken pizza is one of my faves in the area. Even over wegmans! It's your typical Buffalo chicken pizza, nothing crazy to describe here. Pickle Pizza 9/10 Pickle chips with a creamy ranch drizzle. Cooking the pickles does make the saltiness come out a bit, but that's too be expected. Think of a deep fried pickle without the breading. The ranch drizzle isn't overpowering flavor wise either. A good slice. Cheese & Pep 10/10 The regular pepperoni (not cup and char). This pizza is really good. Super authentic NY style, the red sauce is a good flavor, the perfect balance between sweet and robust. Ok, my hairdresser and I were having a conversation about Buffalo Pizza and I made a claim that no good pizza can be found. She said you have to have Niagara Falls Pizza! She pointed me towards Broadway. Having been to NYC multiple times I was a bit reluctant. I did stop in this past Thursday during lunchtime and grabbed 2 slices, a cheese and a ricotta. First bite of the cheese, wow, the crust amazing, the sauce not Buffalo sweet incredible! I scarfed that slice pretty quickly and was very satisfied. Authentic, NY style pizza!! My soccer team was in New York for a game and we were craving some pizza. One of the parents had been to Broadway on a prior trip and spoke very highly of it. We called and asked if they could seat 13 of us; they said no problem. They actually started cooking our order and had a table set up and ready for us when we arrived. As a group, we stuck to the basics: a couple cheese pies, and a couple pepperoni pies. However, they have a variety of specialty pizzas to choose from as well. One guy with us tried a slice of pickle pizza and he said it was really good. You can order full pies or by the slice. I definitely had to fold my slices to eat. They were delicious. Broadway Pizza is only about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. It is not a full sized restaurant, but they do have several tables to eat inside and you can push them together to serve a large group. Both bottle drinks and fountain drinks are available. The service was excellent; the employees very nice and accommodating. One of our goals on our Niagara trip was to get good New York style pizza. This checked that box. We got the pepperoni pizza and 20 wings. Both were very good. Thought the cheese and crust on the pizza stood out. Wings had a good crunch, really enjoyed it the blue cheese it came with. Thought for the prices were fair, we all got stuffed. The service is what stood out the most though. They were very busy with take out orders but still took time to be invested in making sure we had a good experience to cap off our trip. This morning, I pointed at the photo of a pickle pizza slice and announced that I'll finally have it. I needed a little reward. Seeing it in person, to my surprise, the pickle slices didn't look like the picture at all. Actually it didn't even look appetizing. With a few, transparent slices of pickle smeared with a line of mayo looking sauce, it wasn't what I expected. I was ready to spin around and leave, but my partner persuaded me to try something anyway. My choice of the "mozzarella and ricotta" deluxe slice was fine. I wasn't sure whether I should use salt, because its taste was rather bland. The dough itself was with no salt at all. I used extra parmesan to spice it up. My partner's choice was much better, but what's not to like about "cheesesteak," a salty, fatty meat covered with cheese. We opted for two slices and a soda offer. The fountain diet coke/pepsi was undrinkable. It was really bad. Someone totally screwed the syrup mix and created a tasteless drink. The slices weren't particularly big. Definitely, I wouldn't call it deluxe. I didn't even bother to fold it. Actually the end flipped over because it was so thin. I'm sure there must be a lot of great items on the menu, but my experience was just ok. The person who took care of us was super nice and friendly. Unfortunately, there was also a management guy running around talking pretty loud on the phone. Possibly he thought no one would understand his conversation because of a foreign language. But the reviews were great so we came to Broadway NY Style Pizza on our way back to California. Loved the pizza, we ordered 2 Cheese Pizza, one with onion topping and another w/o any topping (even sauce as wanted to avoid garlic for few family members). There so many pizzas over the counter, next time will try them by slices than whole large pizza. mmhmm. Delizioso! We do mostly our groceries/shoping in this plaza (Niagara Consumers Square), but it's our first time checking out this place and the experience was good. Staffs were friendly, hardworking, and accommodating even though they're so busy (mostly on the deliveries). Food was excellent. A lot of pizza slices and other items on the menu to choose from. Hard to decide. We ordered 4 deluxe slices and 2 orders of Garlic knots. Pizza slices were huge! Perfect thin and crispy crust. I've popped in here for a slice or two in the past, but most recently ordered a whole pie from here (Hawaiian - ham/pineapple). They were open later in the evening on a Friday in early June during COVID, so the hours are still pretty accessible on weekends. The pie took about 30 minutes from order to car. It was about $20 for a large, which was a bit on the expensive side. Delicious and worth it though. The crust was a perfect thin crust-style, delicious sauce that's not too sweet and good toppings. i've bought a lot a pizzas from this place the last few years because they have the most authentic NY-style pie in WNY. Unfortunately, they've seen me for the last time because there are more important things in life than pizza and one of them is staying true to your code. And part of this man's code is not doing business with ignorant people. i came into one night for some slices after having a few drinks and the woman behind the counter couldn't resist the urge to insult me. She's no doubt pissed off because God created her with the short end of the ugly stick. If i looked like her i wouldn't be happy about it either. The incident reminds of an anecdote i once heard about Winston Churchill. While celebrating at a WWII victory party, the Prime Minister of the UK overindulged and was obviously intoxicated. Wow, what a place! From the time I walked in, till the time I left, it was such a nice experience. Sam the owner, was super friendly, welcoming me to his restaurant, making some friendly small talk, describing the different pizza slices on display, and telling me when my order will be ready--this is how it's done folks! Inside, the place has an nice clean look, with clear bright menus, solid wooden chairs and tables, and lots of glass. They have a huge menu, with all kinds of specials, and many different Italian food options. Surprisingly, there are many different kinds of pizza slices (and even Stromboli) on display that are ready to eat. They put together a few different pre-made slices for us to try and boy were they flavorful; with the meat-lovers slice being my favorite. We also ordered the Large Pizza & 20 Wing combo to go, for $30+tax. The cooked-fresh Large Pepperoni pizza was excellent. You can tell Sam is from NYC, he definitely knows how to make a mean pie--chewy thin crust, lots of cheese, and tasty pepperoni, cooked perfectly. Our 20 wings were outstanding. You don't have to tell these guys to cook them "crispy" or "extra crispy" as they are already cooked with the perfect amount of crispness! We ordered the wings half Hot/half Mild, and we really enjoyed both. The Hot being just a bit on the spicy side, and the Mild with such a delicious crispy chicken taste. They even know how to box the wings perfectly, putting many holes in the tops of the styrofoam container so the wings don't go all soggy on you--what pros! Carrots, celery, and blue cheese were all very fresh. Needless to say, I think this is one of the best pizza/wing places in the area, with excellent food and outstanding customer service. Okay so this place is interesting. I've seen them here for about 2 or 3 years and never tried them. This last Monday my wife and I decided to try them. First impression: Walked in with three employees upfront and wasn't greeted. Second impression: Looked at the food then noticed all of the employees were standing around laughing and galavanting in a foreign language. Third impression: the food looked days old with many pies and other "Italian" items just sitting under heat lamps. Fourth impression: I wondered why there were no other customers in the shop at 8 PM. Last impression: ordered two slices of cheese and pepperoni for $8.00 bucks yes compete RIP, (but I felt bad that no one was patronizing) and it came out hard / unfold-able and was put on a greasy dollar tree plate for a to go order, WTF?? Overall lesson learned: I will never go back to a pizza joint in NY that claims to be an Italian eatery that serves old pizza and Jamaican beef Pattie's. Also why was the guy rolling new pizza dough at 8pm with no customers in sight and 15 pizzas on display?! Something is cooking up here and it's not good, AT ALL!! read more

While traveling to Niagara Falls (the falls) we stopped in Niagara Falls (the city) at Broadway Pizza. We were looking for NY Style pizza and White Pizza, in particular, and wow! it was so good. I have had NY Style Pizza in several places in upstate NY as well as various places in Manhattan and Queens and this place stacks up with the best of them with a nice thin crust and good topping choices. We liked that they have pizza by-the-slice so we could get a bunch to try (shown in one of the pictures) and all were yummy. The Philly Cheesesteak was surprisingly good, even with some American Cheese interspersed. (My son was super happy about this) and the Buffalo Chicken was not too saucy. They even had a decent Jamaican Beef Patty, which I couldn't resist trying. Their pizza is good but very pricey. They charge $2 extra per topping but they barely put any toppings in there. We ordered a large sausage, green pepper and onion pizza. Pizza here is slightly different from most of the other places around here. I think there is something about the kind of cheese they use. Crust is very thin. They have a very wide variety of pizzas with different toppings. We got a pepperoni mushroom and black olive pizza. My wife and I both enjoyed it. In our area this is just an average pizza. Bocce,Imperial,Leonardi's Bella's and others leave it in the dust. I always judge a pepperoni and cheese pizza when comparing.
