His pizzas are only around $18-$25 for some of the highest rated neopolitan style pizzas in the nation. Save yourself the financial stress and drive over to Southpaw Pizza. We can get the standard classics or make one to order. Half the family is meat loving and the other half not so it is nice to tailer each pizza we need and I think there is plenty of choices to choose from. We love a pizza full of veggies and pineapple then topped with the Honey Sriracha sauce. We love that sweet and spicy together. Oh it is so good. That Honey Sriracha drizzle will make your pizza pop to the next level of tastyness. But the thing I am not crazy about this Pizza Hut is the service. It's about a 60/40 good/bad mix. Sometimes it is as smooth as clockwork then the next time a disaster. If it was not our favorite pizza we would be tempted to go elsewhere. When things go bad sometimes the staff is a little too flippant about it when they should be apologizing for their errors. How do you lose a pizza...now really come on guys be honest. The service seems to wax and wain but fast food places do have a higher employee turnover wait so you live through the brainless till a good employee comes along and that is not a long wait. Birdie's Pizza. I think it will fly!…read more I quit posting reviews on Yelp because I came to realize I really don't like Yelp. That said, a friend and I were discussing pizza in Corvallis. We disagreed about one place, and that's fine. We agreed who has the best sauce. We also thought that it was a shame that the best pizza in town was in a damn grocery store. Yah. Market of Choice has good pizza. It isn't as good as it was pre-COVID, but it's still good. Why do I mention all that? Background my friend, background. My friend told me about a new place. I had never heard of it. He said they were out in Philomath, so I probably wouldn't go. Then he said they opened a second location in The Plaza. That's my 'hood! I was out today doing errands. I had the hungrys. I was even not far from Market of Choice. Nah. I headed south. Then, as I was driving down 4th Street I remembered. "Hey Chester," I said to myself, "You owe it to yourself and your friend to check out the new place." I actually remember when it was JCPenny. I remember when that terrible bagel shop opened that didn't even boil their bagels. All that. It was peak lunch time, so I worried it would be a long line. Good thing I was in a three-hour parking spot. To my surprise, the line was maybe five minutes. The person that took my order and served me was friendly and efficient. The whole place had a neat feel. It was open with plenty of seating. It was clean and well lit. There were many options of places to order from. That's damn cool. I wonder if each individual business had to pay the city's exorbitant SDCs. That shouldn't happen at all to a property that has already been developed, but the people in positions of leadership in Corvallis are, uh... kinda greedy. That's not news. Oh. Yeah. This is about pizza. I ordered a New York style slice. It was damn good. Better than any other slice I've had in town in a long time. It was so good I went back when I was done and ordered a different flavor. Will I be back? Hell yes. While I was waiting for my second slice, I noticed the employee was flipping a vinyl record over. They are spinning vinyl. That's just plain awesome. I'm not giving them any of my collection, but I'll keep my eyes open for something to donate. I might even go back tomorrow.... Birdie's Pizza.
