When I got my pizza, I ended up eating the tomato slices on their own (I sprinkled on a little salt). The toppings underneath were good - Italian Sausage, American Bacon, Mushroom, Black Olive, Fresh Tomato. The crust was so boring. If I'm going to eat carbs, I want them to be worthwhile. This crust would have been a waste of calories so I scraped off the toppings and left the crust. My pizza was a thinner crust, so I took a bite of my daughter's thick crust and I had to drink water to help get it down. Super disappointing because it looked so good! Maybe the intent is to dip it in a sauce? I don't know. Part of their claim to fame is that President Obama stopped in for a slice of pie several years ago. The picture is cool to see. They're even selling slices for $8-$10! I travel a lot and often go get pizza from Chris Bianco in Los Angeles and Phoenix. His pizzas are only around $18-$25 for some of the highest rated neopolitan style pizzas in the nation. Save yourself the financial stress and drive over to Southpaw Pizza. It's much better than PizzAmore. That's what I did and I was able to get two small pizzas and a side of tots for only $25.
