Still delicious as usual. We ordered a large kitchen sink and a pepperoni olive with jojos. The pizza is absolutely cooked to perfection. The thin crust is out of this world and aged to perfection. The toppings are fresh and hefty. You can't find pepperoni this good anywhere else! The jojo potatoes are crispy and delightfully fried and the ranch is incredibly tasty. We ordered take out and they gave us a time to drop by. The pizzas had about a minute left and the jojos had a couple minutes left. They apologized even though in my mind it was perfect timing. First of all the wait staff were lovely... not a complaint at all. Apparently I missed the owner several have complained about. The ambiance of the place is... meh. It's noisy and there weren't many people there. It was clean but I wouldn't call it comfortable. With a couple beers that probably doesn't matter as much. (the beer selection is limited). The pizza was good. Thin crust, hot and crispy. Toppings were acceptable in amount and quality. The pizza tasted good. It is, however, not my favorite in town. It was a half taco pizza half "hot spot" which is what they call a beef and onion pizza. We also ordered a small jojo that didn't come out with the pizza. we were told it was on its way but... no it never arrived. We asked about them before we were ready to leave because we had nearly forgot about them... the wait staff got us a hot and fresh order but again, they were good. Not great. Our bill for the pizza, jojos and a beer was $43 and we had a few slices of pizza left over, along with the jojos we took with us. It was a decent eating experience but I asked myself, if friends were in from out of town, would this be where I would take them for pizza? And I have to say, Probly not. I just paid over $50 to get a pizza delivered. It arrived over 20 minutes after the latest estimate. it's barely luke warm. It's beyond smashed to less than half the normal size. half of it is stuck to the top. This was my favorite pizza place for 30 years, but being the highest priced in town, and a massive delivery fee. When you buy a large pizza you get a free side : salad, breadsticks, 2 litter, etc. They have sandwiches and wings too. A couple acracde games and video lottery. I have been ordering pizza from Ciddici's for 25 plus years. Last night will be the last time we order from them. The pizza was burnt and awful. The fryers were down ( which I understand, things happen) so instead of getting jo Jo's like we normally do, we got salad. The salad was straight out of a bag and brown. The lady I spoke to was nice, but the phone rang at least 20 times. I know the downtown restaurant closes permanently, but I was hoping the Southside would continue to have good pizza. Tonight we went in to celebrate a graduation and had over 20 people in our party. We were all respectful and had the worst customer service experience. We all ordered pizzas and shared. We were served the wrong order and the staff said they were just leaving it and remaking it. The owner walked in angry, accusing use of trying to get free pizza when all we asked was for the correct order. He snatched up two pizzas and threw them into the trash in front of everyone, including kids that were there and stormed out. One of his staff slammed the door when walking past and called us assholes. We will not be going back there again. The owner was completely out of control. What once was a great place to get a good pizza has now gone to crap! Where to start...We specifically order or pizza to be under cooked because otherwise it is charred maybe half the time we receive our pizza the way we want it. Two..on several occasions we have received the completely wrong order and when we call the owner makes you feel like crap and wants to have to pizza returned to "show the cooks". Only to wait another hour for a replacement, with a "oh sorry". Then finally how hard is it to cut a pizza in somewhat symmetrical slices? And last I checked there should be 12 slices to a large pizza. Not 11. So either someone doesn't know how to cut a pizza or someone took a slice before it made it to our house. Pitiful Ciddicis! 09/28/2019 Did take out of a large Linguisa, pepperoni and tomato pizza at the South Albany location. My wife commented that the pizza tasted off... That's when she realized the Linguisa looked bad... it wasn't noticed initially because all of the Linguisa was underneath the tomatoes. It was BROWN; not the normal color of Linguisa. It was definitely not overcooked. I seriously hope my wife and son don't get sick. She had eaten a slice already...my son had as well. I'm disappointed that they used meat that obviously had gone bad. That's pretty serious: First, it is a food safety issue. The Linguisa was obviously rotten. People get sick, and in some cases, it could KILL. Second, it's a quality issue. The Linguisa didn't look right. That's because it wasn't! Nobody noticed it? Nobody knows what rotten meat looks like? Nobody cared? Regardless of the reason, it tells me there is an issue with the business, whether it is laziness, training, adherence to guidelines concerning perishable product...it covers everyone in that business... Right up to and including the management itself. They need to make some changes before somebody ends up in a hospital! read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! For the last 10 years we have ordered their special pizza. It is a 1 topping either pepperoni or canadian bacon. However, they have always let us get it half pepperoni and half canadian bacon. When I ordered this week, the gal on the phone said it would be $30.00, I mentioned that this was the first time in 10 years that this was said. She then asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said sure. The manager proceeded to tell me that whoever had done this over the last 10 years was wrong. I informed her that the manager and owner had giving me the special price. Then she went on a tyrant ranting and raving about me lying to her. I asked her to look at my order history with the phone number and she said no and hung up on me. Today I noticed a 2 topping pizza special for $25.70 and it wasn't even offered to me during this call. So, not only did this happen but the majority of the last year the crust has been burnt, sometimes horribly. Guess I should have made them make a new pizza each time. Doesn't matter now as we won't be going back. I called today and asked for the owner, they said he wasn't in, I then asked for his name, and they hung up. I have always liked their pizza in Albany. I have gone to the new corvallis one 2 times and both times it has been horrible. First time my pizza was so cold I am sure it had to have been sitting out for along time. The second time I went to pick up my pizzas and they were both made wrong. They said 10 minutes and my new pizzas would be done, it was 35 minutes later. They need to step up their game. I am probably done. read more

I ordered pizza for lunch and had it delivered. Two of my friends that ate the pizza became violently ill, and were on the toilet all night. When I placed the order, I notified the person on the phone (being the manager/part owner) that I had a Visa Gift card with a specific amount of funds I wanted to use first. Instead of taking the card number over the phone, she told me to give the gift card to the driver along with cash to take care of the remaining balance. So I did just that. I received a phone call this morning from Talat (Manager/part owner). She yelled at me claiming the gift card didn't have funds and it was declining. This was not true. I let her kindly know that I did what I was told and it was no longer my problem. I also gave her options on how to run the card. She hung up on me, so I called her back and she continued to yell and tell me that I was putting her out of $40. I told her I wanted to resolve the issue. She threatened to call the police and told me they would never serve me. She then had a young kid call me back to finish resolving the issue. DO NOT GO HERE. Talat is completely unprofessional. They delivered our pizza over an hour late. Her customer service is piss poor. I'm praying she finds peace and maybe God! read more

I just went to a graduation party at ciddicis in Albany and experienced the worst customer service ever. There was a lot of pizzas ordered and the waiter was getting confused. They placed 3 pizzas down on our tables that werent what we order. Keep in mind that there was probably 20 people at the party so everyone was ordering different pizzas and sharing. The owner came in and accused us of just trying to get free pizzas because some of the people at the party ate some of the pizzas unknowing they weren't pizzas we ordered. The owner forcefully took the pizza, yelled at us and threw it in the garbage they also took a pizza back that they had already placed on the table that someone could of possibly touched and served it to another party. I have never seen worse customer service especially an OWNER act in such a disgusting way. I feel bad for all the employees as I know if he treats his customers that way that he probably treats them like that as well. I never complain or post about anything like this but I have NEVER experienced anything like this. I will no longer be giving them my business and I hope everyone else will do the same. Just moved to the area and thought we'd explore Pizza offerings. This was a HUGE disappointment. 5pm on Friday night. Few in the restaurant and LOTS of dirty tables! The girl at the counter was very nice and helpful. The pizza has really skimpy toppings, Papa Murphy's does better in this regard. Then, as we were sitting waiting for the pizza, I could see the counter/kitchen staff from my seat. One guy stood around twisting and curling his beard, then went over and put toppings on pizza. YECH! Oh, and dirty toilet paper in the hall outside the men's bathroom. GROSS. The entire time we were there, waiting and eating, no one bothered to even clean off any of the tables. Came tonight and absolutely fell the the ground to see a simple pepperoni pizza was $23. It's a flap of dough a little sauce, cheese and pepperonis. Total cost to make probably less than $2.00. I've ordered it four times in the last two months, and all four phone calls the person who answers and takes you order was impatient, not helpful, I asked questions and they sat in silence... If you plan on ordering pizza at 8:35, plan on being disappointed. When I called at 8:35 they answered and said it's too late for them to start cooking any pizzas. I'm giving it a 4 star only because of the prices are high, at least in my opinion. The pizza here has a great crust, not doughy or not baked enough, like we've had at other places. It's definitely not like the thick crust that's softer from Domino's. Nice and crusty!, not under-cooked. I wish there was a little bit more sauce on the pizzas, but I always forget to ask for extra sauce, so that's on me, I guess. The tastes of the various types of pizza available are very good. First of all I drove accross town to meet my brother here to eat dinner and he drove from Corvallis. We checked ahead to see when the place closed. Walked up to the counter to order 20 min before closing time and the girl at the counter told us that they were closed and we couldn't order. Meanwhile pizzas were still in the oven and there was quite a few people still in the dining area. I will never eat again at a place like this that wastes my time! On a positive note we found a place in north Albany called Frankie's to go to and it was amazing and I have been back to it at least 1-2 times a week ever since. Quite literally the worst pizza I've ever had in my entire life (not all that surprising coming from the culinary and cultural cesspool that is Albany). Tried over several occasions, the last time was so bad I threw it in the trash after 3 bites. Overloaded with so many toppings that it didn't even cook all the way through. To the extent of nearly raw dough and cold cheese in the middle. Not to mention the raw, cold vegetables clearly placed on the top AFTER it was cooked. I'm not sure where this "recipe" was dreamed up at. It's almost as if someone who never had pizza before received a letter with a vague description of pizza, and then attempted to recreate a pizza from that, the overall taste really is that bad. Seriously, throw this vile concoction of mediocre ingredients that dares call itself "pizza" into the nearest trash bin, and go to the grocery store and buy the cheapest frozen pizza you can find.
