The place was not crowded, so there wasn't a long wait You can either order to-go or sit down and dine in. Once seated, someone came by and explained the menu, which was helpful. After making your selection, you press a button at the table to place your order, which I thought was pretty convenient. I also liked the personal water bottle they bring to the table. The music is also good. I ordered the wings and fries, and while the chicken was good, my fries never came out. I asked about them twice and still never received them, which was kind of odd and definitely a little disappointing. There are also a few TVs around if you want something to watch while you eat. Overall, I liked the experience and thought the chicken was good, but I was definitely bummed about the fries and the fact that they never made it to the table.

Trying new foods in new areas brought us to Pualani. On a whim, I ordered their Snow Shrimp. Sure…read morewish I had taken a pic but after that first bite, it was gone. Pualani's version of coconut shrimp is not your traditional fried coconut shrimp. Their version is giant pieces of fried shrimp, coated in a sweet sauce with a delicate sprinkle of coconut flakes on top. Its was different in a delicious way! Served with two sides; I chose the macaroni salad and white rice. No regrets on those choices. We also ordered the Pineapple Fried Rice with 3 proteins (shrimp, chicken & beef). The pineapple fried rice had juicy chunks of pineapple, generously blended in flavorful fried rice, but the protein was a huge disappointment. The shrimp was overcooked, the chicken was small flat bland bits, and the beef was .. okay. If this was our first impression of Pualani, we wouldn't have gone back. Goes to show you, always try several menu items.

I have tried the grilled garlic pita (it was good but I wanted more garlic butter, it was a lil dry) the koolaid was delicious. I also tried the fried catfish and got hot as Texas sauce on top, it was really good. A big piece of fish! The wing flavors I've tried so far are: Hot as Texas (buffalos & lemon pepper - my fave) Garlic Parmesan - I'll give it a 7/10 Lemon pepper - flavor is good, dry rub. 8/10 Cajun - love the flavor (8.5/10) Overall pretty good quality and this is just Uber Eats. I did dine in on my first experience. But a pretty solid wing place with some good flavor options.

Actually my friend brought it with them to their house and made me try it. So I came and got a burger today, the mushroom and Swiss burger. The burger was ok. I am definitely going to come back and try some other items on the menu and get the chicken again. I just read another review. I would like to clarify that even though this restaurant was small it was very clean. I ordered the double cheeseburger, and the patties were so thick that I had to remove one just to enjoy it; it was okay after that, but nothing particularly special stood out about the burgers. The atmosphere wasn't great either. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming; no greeting when we came in, and ordering felt awkward. On top of that, the place had a bad smell, which made it feel a little dirty. We originally planned to eat inside but ended up ordering to go because of this. The saving grace was the loaded fries OMG, so good! Honestly, I'd come back just for those. Maybe it was an off day, because I feel like this spot has potential to be good, so we might give it another chance in the future.
