Every time I come in here for a slice I leave satisfied. The pizzas are so yummy -- both full pizzas and just the slices. I love getting honey and basil on my slices! The workers are super friendly the vibes are immaculate. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick bite!

Pizza Marvin is a real treat, and the outside seating is my favorite part--it's hard to beat enjoying a nice summer night out with good food. The pizza easily deserves 5 stars. My guess is the dough is sourdough-based, and the tomato sauce is exactly how I like it--plain, simple, and raw. No extra herbs or spices, just pure tomato flavor, likely straight from the can, which works perfectly for me. I had the 3-cheese pizza, which was a bit on the salty side, probably due to the cheese itself, but still very enjoyable. They offer a different ice cream flavor every day, which is great for those who like variety, but I personally wish they had a plain vanilla option for people like me who prefer the classics. Overall, this is a cool spot with great pizza, and I definitely recommend it if you're craving pizza in Providence.

The food is delicious! The crust of the Sicilian style slices has great flavor and is crispy (in a great way) on the bottom. The burrata appetizer was also great with super fresh and ripe tomatoes. The custard was a yummy treat after too. Will definitely be back asap to try the whole pizzas

Pizza is okay, definitely not amazing! Fries definitely could use salt, but do have a seasoning on them.

The planets finally aligned and I made it to Pizza Marvin! I mean, driving ALL THE WAY over here to the east side from the west end is a bit of an ardous journey. Lol Anyway, love the pepperoni slice of thick Sicilian style pizza and if you order the seasoned curly fries, be prepared to ask for a to go container because the portion is huge....unless they happened to give me extra because they loved my dress? There is both indoor and out door seating. Oh, and if you see someone squeezing lemons, do not ask for some of their homemade lemonade- because they don't sell that. The lemon juice is fir the salad dressing but they do offer a locally made lemonade in a bottle if you already made up you mind to have some.

The pizza is delish, Gene Parmesan agrees.

I found out about this place because of Grateful Dead event. I came for the Dead, I stayed for the pizza. I love everything about Pizza Marvin. Food - Delicious Pizzas are huge with fresh flavors and toppings Caesar salad, not your typical, but that's what I love about it. The garlic stays with you for hours, so don't order this on a first date. Drinks - a great variety of mixed and beers. Ice cream - they are always weird flavors like blueberry with corn or waffles and Taylor ham. Although I said weird somehow the flavors always are amazing! The vibes inside are cool, the low tops helped when I brought my nephew. You need to try Pizza Marvin.

Considered one of the best pizza spots in Providence, I recently got to try out Pizza Marvin while visiting Rhode Island. I can't judge the ambiance as the place was absolutely buzzing on a Saturday night with people packed in shoulder to shoulder while stopping in to grab a takeout order. We went with the large cheese pizza. Upon first looks, the pie is very attractive and somewhat artisanal, which elevated my hopes for a positive pizza experience. Sadly, the bottom of the pizza was overdone and lots of bites we had came with an excessively burnt taste that really detracted from the experience. The cheese and sauce were decent quality ingredients, but lacked the zest and pop you get with the better pizzas that I am spoiled with in the NJ/NY/PA areas. A family member that had eaten Pizza Marvin previously commented that it usually tastes better and isn't as burnt on the bottom. Seeing pictures of pizzas others have posted in reviews online, it seems I'm not alone among Pizza Marvin diners that have received a burnt pizza. Perhaps the kitchen dropped the ball a bit since it was so busy, but a good pizzeria never should have let a customer leave with a burnt pizza. All things considered, I'd hesitate to return to Pizza Marvin in the future and they wouldn't make my list of Providence pizza spots that I'd recommend to others.

There are some places I like to hold off on reviewing until after I've gone a couple times- this is one of them. Pizza can be one of those things that battles consistency and also, your hunger for them just might be insanely high one day making any average slice taste amazing.. So, Pizza Marvin. There are a couple strong opinions I want to get out in the open. 1. Their red sauce is second to none. Absolutely delicious. 2. Pricing is quite steep. $24+ for a normal pizza and up to like.. $28 for one with a couple toppings.. Really? I have to agree with the super high price here with other reviewers. Unless Pizza marvin can confirm, I don't think they're using house milled flour, local farm to table ingredients or anything else that's very special to drive the price to this point. With that said, I'm an avid pizza maker. I have a few ovens, one wood fired, one electric, and one gas. I make my own sourdough pizza, my own detroit pizza, neapolitan, NY style and others in between. Suffice to say I don't go out for pizza often. I think Pizza marvin is worth going to. If it's a treat, and you can get past the sticker shock, I'm pretty confident you'll enjoy their pizza. I will say, the Marg AF could have used significantly more sauce dollops. It was pretty dry. However, the North Provolone I had on my first visit was top tier. I'd coin their pizza somewhere between New haven a'pizza and NY style. Good, flavorful char, enough bite to the crust but not so much that it gets laborious to chew. It's enjoyable and I wouldn't hesitate to go back- it's a once every couple months thing for me to go out for pizza. This is also a nice place if you enjoy eating outside, plenty of outdoor seating, their indoor space is pretty cool too, little bit of a retro vibe but more or less what you'd expect in a pizza joint. Service is as expected for carryout/counter service. You're not being waited on here.

I was excited to try Pizza Marvin after hearing so much buzz about it. We got lucky and it was a beautiful night for their patio. We went on a Saturday and were able to share a table with a smaller party which worked out fine. there are also some seats inside, but the patio is definitely where there is more seating. All the counter service employees were super friendly and the food came out quickly. I rushed to order and didn't even realize they had slices, next time I'd probably give those a try, For pizza we got the Rhoni Island which was delicious. Love the addition of the honey for a sweet and salty combo. We started with the bitter greens salad which was refreshing and simple. I tried out their version of the Aperol Spritz the Ocean Spritz, it was tasty but super sweet. For dessert we had to try out their softserve. The flavor was blueberry+corn, the blueberry definitely shone through and it was a very tasty way to end the evening.

This was my first visit to Pizza Marvin, I had a slice of cheese pizza and an order of meatballs for takeout. The meatballs were delicious as was their red sauce. The pizza was thick crust and cooked perfectly. If you like thick, crispy pizza then you'll be pleased.

Not the best picture. They have cool lighting.

I have struck out on pizza at many restaurants in Rhode Island... until Pizza Marvin. The vibes were awesome! My wife and I tried the wings (chefs kiss! 9.1/10). This is tied for our top rated wings! & ordered the North Provolone Pizza. 9.5/10. Hands down the best pizza we have ever had. Thanks to their great staff/service my wife and I had an unforgettable experience for our date night at a new place!

Maybe I just haven't had pizza in a long time (true) or maybe I'm just out of touch (doubtful) but $34 (a full $40 after suggested tip) for a single pizza seems like a crime. It was a good pizza, despite toppings being so poorly dispersed it was almost comical. I'm happy to be included with the gluten-free option but after spending $40, I'm not sure if I was kindly included or kindly robbed. I think I'd return for a pizza if I had a serious craving & it was on a payday or a special occasion.

It's always dissapointing when a restaurant lacks consistency and leaves you wondering what happened? Is it the cook at certain shifts, carelessness, different quality products? I don't know, but this place may be worth a try if they could output the product I had during my first visit. The pizza was dissapointing, but the wings were good.
