My brother had ordered pizza, wings, mozzarella sticks and a calzone. We ordered a meat lovers calzone and hot wings. Let me tell you the flavor on that calzone was phenomenal. That baby was filled with lots of cheese and amazing meat lovers toppings. The pizza was excellent even my toddler enjoyed it. I loved the wings so crispy and saucy. Parking was a bit tricky in this neighborhood but I was lucky enough to get a spot in the lot. As I was here for lunch, I wanted to try the sub sandwiches. It was certainly daring to see tongue and brain on the menu, but having grown up in LA loving tacos (where lengua and cabeza are popular protein options) and practicing adventurous eating, tongue and brain sounded absolutely perfect. As my intuition told me, the tongue and brain sub was fantastic. Texture was exquisite, flavor was well balanced, and I am hoping eating such would improve my cognitive and linguistic abilities. I also tried the Persepolis sub which has a lot to offer, but I personally prefer the tongue and brain sub.

When we entered a young man behind the counter greeted us politely and we were reading the menu that was above the counter on a wall. It's a small place with a few tables and chairs. Very lean. Prices are as prices are nowadays. Of bourse everything could be cheaper if you want but in this case the prices are 100% justified. The cheese burger my spouse had was so delicious and looked like someone made it in their back yard on their grill. You won't get anything like it at those burger corp. not even close. And the fries, nice and fresh and crunchy. Just perfect. My pizza. All I can say and that is that this was one of the best and most delicious pizza I had for a very long time. I eat out a lot at Italian restaurants. Some fancy and not cheap. But none of them could compete with their pizzas. I literally gulped most of it down but held myself back to take honestly 2 slices so I can enjoy the rest later. It is literally attached to the Dick's Sporting Goods store and faces across the parking lot from Ashley Furniture. I love Blaze Pizza. I think I like it more than Domino's and Pizza Hut put together! Here, you get to build your own pizza and decide what toppings you want and how much or how little you want, depending on your preference. I thought there was no limit, but apparently there is. I was just never told about it. The amount they usually put on for me is more than enough, though. For my pizza, I got Alfredo sauce because, unfortunately, I can't have tomato sauce. I also got sausage, chicken, green peppers, black olives, and these other olives that are kind of a purplish color. When you walk in, you tell them what you want, and they put it together for you. After you pay, they put it in the oven, and it comes out within about 7 to 10 minutes. I really like it here, and they also have a soda fountain, so if you get a drink, you can choose whatever you want. My wife also likes it here. What she got on her pizza is beyond me because she gets so many different toppings that I didn't have time to memorize them! My boys share a mini personal peppeoni pizza that comes with a cookie and a kids' drink. The service here is always pretty good, so I have no real complaints there. The only thing this time was that the manager mentioned there is a limit on the amount of cheese you can get up to three times the normal amount. Kind of weird that I know that now, but I guess you learn something new every day! It didn't bother me much, though. Getting double the normal amount of cheese was more than enough for my pizza. I like my pizza nice and cheesy! The restaurant has a family friendly, sit down atmosphere with plenty of tables and chairs, as well as some outdoor seating on the patio. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a craving for building their own pizza. I will 100% be back again. Did I mention I love this place?
