One of the wings next to a quarter for scale

Good pizza, but abysmal customer service. I've been getting takeout pizza from this place pretty regularly for about half a year now, and it's always been good, but today I decided to try to their wings, and they were pretty awful. They were tiny, flavorless, and soggy. I called to ask for a refund, and the manager I spoke with was incredibly rude. He blamed the quality of the wings on how long it took for me to pick them up, which is funny because one of the things I complained about was their size, and I don't think they shrank between the time they were made and when I picked them up. It did take me 30 minutes to pick them up, but I've often ordered wings through services such as DoorDash, and they arrived much later just fine from other restaurants. The manager himself admitted that they recently changed their wing recipe and have been getting a lot of complaints, but also continued to blame me for the quality of these particular wings (???). He also kept talking over me and had a very argumentative tone. As someone in the restaurant industry, I would never speak with a customer this way. It was beyond disrespectful. My advice: stick to the pizza and keep your head down.

Aluminum embedded into the cheese and pepperoni

1 star - If I could give zero, I would. I was recommended this place by a friend, and I seriously regret trying it. We ordered a half ham & pineapple, half cheese pizza for delivery. When it arrived, it was terrible. Completely bland, with no sauce on half the pizza and dough that tasted like it hadn't even been seasoned. Just dry and flavorless. The best part of the entire experience was the delivery driver, who was polite and professional. Literally the only positive out of the experience. I called to speak with the manager. Not to be rude but to give honest feedback. The moment we mentioned the lack of flavor, he got instantly defensive, as if we insulted a secret family recipe. He claimed he made "100 pizzas from that same dough" and hadn't heard complaints, so apparently our experience didn't count. That's not how customer service works. We were offered 25% off our next order (as if we would order again), and when we declined, he got annoyed and told us the only other option was to bring the pizza back in person to get a replacement. So now we're going out of our way after paying for delivery just to get edible food? We went in and were met with more defensiveness. The manager (with a pony tail and standing at about 5'11" with a silver wedding band) said he's "been in hospitality for years" but frankly showed zero hospitality. He did have the team remake the pizza with what we thought could possibly make it edible (since we were not going to get a refund) so we went with half cheese and half pepperoni with extra sauce. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, we got home and tried the pizza again just to find a piece of aluminum embedded in the pizza. Yes, metal in the food. I attached a photo because this was beyond disappointing as well as a serious safety issue. That alone should be a good enough reason to get a refund because what is the justification for that? In a customer facing role, the establishment should always (1) Acknowledge (2) Apologize (3) Act. This manager showed no empathy, no accountability, and no effort to make things right. If you needed a sign to order here, use our experience not to. Flavorless food, unprofessional management, and a complete disregard for customer feedback or food safety. I don't care how many pizzas they make a day. The quality and service matter and this place failed on both.

New cauliflower pizza

Jason thank you!! Been looking for a great pizza place for a while now and we came across Marcos Pizza in the same parking lot as are our new dry cleaners. We were greeted by a friendly young girl at the front, and Jason. We ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni, and the other half mushroom and olives. We really like the pizza dough it was very tasty. It could've had a little bit more toppings on the olive and mushroom side. I will ask for that next time. We also wanted to try the new cauliflower pizza just got a cheese one and it was very good. Can't wait to try it with all veggies on top. They also have a few choices of beer on tap. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Jason, let us try the brownie, which was amazing comes out hot with some chocolate drizzled on it. Yummy! We look forward to coming back again or having home delivery. Thanks again Jason for everything! Carla & David ;)

Ultimate Magnifico

Pizza was delicious! The Ultimate Magnifico was absolutely packed with flavor and huge pieces of sausage and pepperoni was delicious as well. The crust had the perfect flavor. Solid pizza , much better than Pizza Hut , dominoes and all those other chains that overlook quality ingredients. This pizza fed 4 people and we were stuffed. Great takeout!

The food here is always so good. I always get my niece and nephew the same order and it never fails to make them happy. The service is always excellent, quick and easy. The ambiance is a casual place to hang out.

Pizza

This is my FAVORITE pizza spot! A worker here named Jason is thorough and quick with the service! Making sure I have what I need before I leave with my order. It's a great place to eat at. If you dine there or eat out the food is great no matter what!

Pizza Wagon Of Brooklyn - Large Cheese Pizza - almost forgot to take a pic I was so hungry

It was recommended to my husband and me by a friend and we happened to be in the area and hungry so decided to stop in. They do pizza by the slice and had quite a few options available when we were there. I got two cheese ($3.75 each) and my husband had the pesto chicken (around $5). I also got a side of marinara for crust-dipping for $.75. Despite heavy foot traffic our slices were out quickly and tasted hot and fresh. There is some (very limited) seating inside which we snagged. Atmosphere is very no frills & old school which I didn't mind and actually would prefer to a more "new school"/hip spot. Was it the best pizza I've ever had? No. But it was a very good rendition of NY pizza in a city whose pizza scene is (dare I say it) lackluster. The crust could be improved but the sauce was great and the ratios were spot on. It was filling without being heavy which I appreciated. And the prices are extremely fair. I'm already planning a return which is always a good sign in my book. Pizza Wagon definitely has my seal of approval.

Thin crust that is very flavorful, good sauce, not too much cheese, just enough, not that deep dish stuff that midwestern people think is pizza but is something else entirely. When I first moved here, you could not get the real deal, it was disappointing. Then the grandson of Regina's Pizza in the north End opened up the Pizza Connection is Canoga Park and it was really good. He opened a bunch of other locations but over time, not sure why, the pizza just wasn't as good. My child Emily Asher Kellis disagrees, still loves it, but she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so what does she really know about pizza. After trying a bunch of different "New York City" pizza joints that were just ok, we found Santino's NY Pizza in Sherman Oaks and were very happy with it, authentic East Coast pizza. Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

It looks like you can order through the ordering station, or if they are not busy, someone can take your order. The menu isn't too extensive, so it should be a pretty easy decision. Drinks are in a fridge, so no refills here. All of their pizzas are personal size. I ordered the Margherita and it took about 7 or so minutes. Came out piping hot and looked really good. If you dine in, there are condiments on the tables. There was this sweet thousand island sauce that I enjoyed. They have a garlic cream sauce that was pretty good also. The dough has a nice chew and the undercarriage is nice and charred. They use a mozzarella cheese blend that's imported from NY. My Margherita was pretty good, but it did not come with any basil on it. I guess they are making it the traditional way. In Italy, Margherita is a cheese pizza. It's not the kind that we are accustomed here in the states. I would have liked there to be a little bit more sauce though. But overall, I would definitely come back here when in the area. I actually had leftovers for lunch the next day and though it I heat it up in a microwave, it was still tasty and a good chew. Come by and support this small business.
