First time ordering pickup and definitely not the last. I really can't begin to understand how this place only has three stars and I feel compelled to write a review because I feel like some of them are just not accurate. We ordered the large pizza special that comes with a salad, a huge side of spaghetti AND lasagna and two sodas. Everything was delicious. The pizza was great and not overly greasy - had great flavor and a fantastic crust. The salad (which is huuuge) was super fresh and had cucumbers, tomatoes, and pepperocinis. Haven't tasted the lasagna or spaghetti yet but I'm sure they're equally as good. You get a ton of food for the money and also support a local business owner (who might I add is a total sweetheart). We will be back soon! read more

This place has the best Persian beef kabobs and chicken with saffron zereshk rice. The chicken is ooo so soft and juicy. The owner Hashim and his wife are great and accommodating. The atmosphere needs some work, but take-out is great. I highly recommend this place for Persian food. read more

The food here is amazing and the older gentleman that takes payment is so kind! Unfortunately I cannot eat here no more. Ordered pizza and sat in, when I looked up from eating I saw the cook (the woman) picking her nose while coughing all over the kitchen. No more service for me, I value my health too much to risk it. read more

Really surprised about the bad reviews. My mom and I ordered delivery from here and although it was a bit pricey and took a while the food was super delicious. I got a vegetarian Stromboli, my mom got a cheese Stromboli adding pepperoni and olives. The Stromboli's were HUGE. I got a small which easily could feed two, my mom got a large which could have fed a family of four. Everything was hot, flavorful, and stuffed to overflowing. Because of the price we will definitely split a Stromboli next time and probably still have left overs. read more

Very large portions that are very reasonably priced. Prompt delivery of warm comfort food from pizza, fried chicken to kabobs and pretty much anything you can imagine. Can't wait to try other items. Glad I gave them a shot. Lil mom and pop shop , but they deliver!!!The owner seems like a very nice genuine man that just is the icing on the cake. Dollar for dollar, the lunch buffet is a GREAT value. The food is fresh and very tasty, and it's the type of place where you don't need to stuff your face to make you feel like you ate your $8 worth. Don't let looks deceive you, it looks like a run down hole in a wall but that's exactly where real gems in the valley are found. Love this place! Rated 5-Kabobs!!! read more

Mr Pizza & Kabob - Lunch Buffet 3 - Pizza Near Me - Chatsworth, California

BUGS IN THEIR FOOD!!! We ordered 12 XL pizzas for our company meeting and used the red pepper flakes that they provided on out pizzas. Some of the employees noticed some things moving on their pizzas and freaked out!! There were little red bugs crawling around on the pizza that came from the chili flakes. We checked a couple others and noticed they had bugs too!! I have a video that I added here as well. What made it worse is that when I called the lady who picked up said she told him not to take that batch because it was the batch with the bugs. She went on to say that they ordered their products from a different merchant and they were not happy with them because they are not clean. What?! The fact that they have a bug batch and a good batch though. Are we serious? The worst part was when the owner came to our business to argue with us about his bugs in the food. He was not apologetic at all (actually never apologized for anything) and wanted to see the bugs. We showed him the bugs AND showed him a video that we took. We requested our money back and he said no. He said and I quote "why would you continue to use the peppers if there were bugs in them?" What?! When I noticed he simply wanted to argue and not resolve the problem, I asked him to leave and stated that we will never buy from there again. He said he will give us a free pizza for the one that had bugs. I said no thank you. This is the worst experience I have had with a restaurant let alone customer service. read more

Order to go but she put all wrong order I will not go there anymore the place was not clean at all

This guy called me after I placed my order through yelp and told me it's gonna be 10 extra dollars on top of what I ordered after getting a text message saying they were going to be an additional 20 minutes late. This guy seems like a hustler! I will not be going through there I don't do business this way hopefully you guys have a better experience! read more

Mr. Pizza and Kabob does exactly what you think. He covers food all the way from middle eastern food to American classics. You can feel the love that comes from this small mom & pop shop. His pizza is actually really good. Well priced too. Fresh just like a diner pizza but better. His chicken kabob plate with rice and tomato along with a side salad is big enough to feed 2 people. His kabob if the BEST. Closest to home made kabob I've tried. Everything else on the menu sounds great. Definitely worth a try! read more

Zero stars please. Ordered through Grubhub and the guy called us two minutes later (from the restaurant) and started yelling at us about our address, where do we live, and that we owe him $3. From the exterior, probably not a place you'd give a second glance...but you should! I've only had the pizza here and I really like it. Thin crust, the sauce is flavorful and the toppings fresh. If I could give zero stars I would. Worst pizza -hands down! First of all I ordered a pizza w bacon and NOT HAM, then shows up with ham and raw onions. Not only that but when I call to complain, the owner says they don't offer bacon eventhough it is listed on their flyer as a topping...AND THEN HE HANGS UP ON ME! Do yourself a favor and don't order from here! Rude service, bad food! Not to mention the wings are horrible! And the garlic bread was burned.... Pretty much all food was inedible. I'm pregnant and now I'm still hungry and very angry! UPDATE: stomach now killing me after eating one horrible slice of pizza and a fatty chicken wing read more

Very delicious food good pizza they have good deals 2 slice of pizza with drink and lunch buffet Monday to Thursday

Come for the shabby exterior in the middle of a usually hot, run-down strip mall, stay for the food! Perhaps if I'm bored one day I'll try the pizza..as for the kebab - it's awesome :-) $9.99 got me a nice little buffet of ground beef with spicing, spiced chicken kebab and wonderfully grilled chicken legs and wings. There is plain basmati rice, but the basmati rice with saffron and currants is delicious. The rice is cooked nicely and is slightly sweet and tart from the currants. A separate bar contains lettuce, cucumber, a form of raita (that's what I'd call it) and tomato. The restaurant is run by a Persian couple, they are friendly though their English is limited. Seriously, don't mind the run-down interior: while it isn't glamorous, it is clean and the hospitality of the owners and the home style goodness of the kebabs make up for any lack of decor. read more

You wouldn't think it, but these people make a damn fine pizza, and an excellent antipasti salad. Thin crust, good ingredients, everything delicious! They are 100% no question my go-to pizza in the northwest valley. I have never tried their kabobs, but I've never needed to. Odd name, amazing food! read more

Save your time and money. We stopped by there out of need, not want, and regret it to the fullest extent. We got two slices of pizza, that looked at least two days old, which they "heated up". We decided to get a dozen wings to go with the slices as well, and boy was that a mistake. The pizza wasn't too bad, but the wings? They were FROZEN FOSTER FARM wings that you can get at any grocery store, and they tasted like they were microwaved, not even thrown into the oven. read more

I've been a local for over 10 years in the area and never walked in that place. Walked in the other day with my wife and it was extremely filthy. The lady wasn't even wearing a mask which was a turn off from the start. I looked around and it was so dirty, there was an industrial freezer full of crap in the dining area, didn't even smell like food at all. The condition of that place was so horrible I'm honestly surprised it's still open with an A in the front window. Sorry for whoever walks in and even more sorry for the owner(s). read more

This place is kinda rundown, but the food isn't bad. Don't think I would eat-in here as the people behind the counter don't seem to be that friendly, the place is tiny and the view is of a dirty-ass Chatsworth parking lot housing like 4 other equally-decent but run-down-looking shops. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have eaten here if my car wasn't in the shop and I didn't need a place within walking distance of my job, but so is life. All I've gotten from here is pizza and despite the sketchy exterior and interior of this joint, the pizza isn't bad. Thin crust, not too soggy with plenty of toppings. I got a slice of mushroom and a slice of pepperoni for $3.75. The only thing is the pizza just sits under a heat-lamp so it's usually lukewarm when you get it. If I had a stove and could pop that baby in for about 5 mins, the slice would be perfect. -1 star for the location/cleanliness/customer service -1 star for pizza that isn't particularly hot read more

I just received the flier for this place in the mail at work. Today I gave it a try. I opted for a meal deal for me and my coworkers which has two medium pizza with two toppings and two cans of soda for $13.99. I called in the order for delivery to my office and the woman on the phone quoted me $20 for the whole order. I asked her why it came to so much and she said tax and delivery fee. That would make the delivery fee almost $5! We still got the pizza because we were out of options for lunch. When the woman delivered the pizza, I asked her again how the order came to $20. She said it was because I added tomatoes to one pizza. I then asked her about why their delivery fee is so high and she said there is no delivery fee. None of it made sense but she was already here. All in all, these people scammed us out of a few bucks. We didn't tip for this very reason. Had they been honest and honored their advertised pricing/deal, we probably would have given that money willingly as a tip and would have been repeat customers. This will be my one and only purchase with them. My advice is to try a different local pizza shop more deserving of your business. read more

My office tends to order delivery food as a whole, and I was a little unenthused of what was going to show up when I was asked if i wanted anything and looked up the menu online, but whatever - food is food and i was hungry. You know this type of place; small operation run by a few people, focuses on the lunch crowd, with inexpensive but filling deals. These places are usually pretty straight forward, not a lot of thrills or frills, but I'm sad to say I was disappointed with my experience here. I was feeling a bit adventurous and wanting something aside from the normal high carb food-coma inducing lunches, I thought a kabob dish would be different and tasty. I came in the last 20 min of my hr lunch and figured quick to-go place, and eat at the desk and all would be good. I placed my order for the beef koobideh and the lady taking my order smiled and said it'd be 10 min. I said no problem and took a seat to read a bit. While reading I noticed she kept looking back at this guy on the phone nervously and didn't seem like she was doing much to prepare my order. After about 10 min (when my order should have been ready) the gentlemen got off the phone and she spoke with him, he perks up looks at me and says 'Oh I'll make your dish, it'll take 10 - 15 min' Now I'm thinking, crap! I gotta be back! So anyways, I got my order and rushed back to the office and sat down to a rushed meal. Giving it due acknowledgment the meal was decently tasty, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra time. For a location that's catering towards the lunch crowd, I was disappointed in their attention to speediness, though the food was decently tasty, I'd be reluctant to go back here unless other Kebab restaurants were just unavailable. I have to admit though, their pizza deal seemed pretty quick and easy, and looked like a lot of patrons were going for it. I guess I should have just followed the herd.... mooo! read more

Their chicken kabob and rice is delicious!! And their pizza is delicious as well! Very reasonably priced. Love this place!

Best lunch ayce for the money. Not too many selections but the food is really good and flavorful. Definitely coming back.

I honestly love the food here, especially the strombolis... The service recently is why I'm only giving two stars. The last couple of times we've ordered delivery we have not gotten everything we've ordered. Paid for it, but never got it. Not wanting to give up on a local favorite I tried ordering take out and picking it up myself. The last time will sadly be my last. Called and had to repeat my order THREE times to the woman who answered the phone, only to arrive at the shop and find the order still wasn't correct. Had to wait while they made the order from scratch... The owner seems like a genuinely nice guy and the food is great, it's just not enough to overcome the terrible service... read more
