Checked that this place is open till midnight and wanted to try this place for dinner. The place looked pretty clean inside and outside. Lots of seating. So many televisions playing different sports like a sports bar. One of the very few places that are open till midnight in the area. The front desk girl is very helpful in explaining the menu and patiently took the order. It took a while to get the food may be because there were many to-go orders ahead of us. The size of the personal pizza is really small and I honestly don't see the price value for the food. Nevertheless, the pizza with hot with generous amount of cheese. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza and I did't realize it would also have pepperoni. I had to take them out before I eat as I don't eat red meat. Along with that, I ordered the boneless wings which they said would come out wet tossed with the mango habanero sauce which i asked for, however they brought the chicken and sauce separately. Like someone else has said in a different review, asking for extra money for a side of ranch is unfair for the price of food these guys sell. Something that the owner should seriously consider changing. Like giving chicken wings without a dip is just unacceptable. Overall, if you are around the area and hungry and it is late in the night, you could try this place. read more

We ordered the pan pizza that had chorizo on it, very delicious! Tons of toppings. Relatively clean place. I love that they had a bunch of tvs so no matter where you sat, you had a good view. If you don't want to look at the tv , they have other areas completely apart from there that you can enjoy their pizza and beers. read more

Delicious Pizza Man! Couldn't get a pic cuz we killed it quick! Just order it you won't regret it!

Great selection of dishes, super nice staff, average food taste/quality. While you won't go wild, you won't be disappointed either. Best of all, they deliver! read more

We had a BBQ Hawaiian pizza delivered, and it didn't disappoint. The chorizo gave it a little more spice than your average Hawaiian pizza, and we added jalapeños for an extra kick. It was a littler pricier than your typical delivery pizza, but the quality and taste was worth it. read more

Great pizza place. We always come here before and after the beach. Great pizza and chicken tenders. Great staff and customer service. We'll be back. read more

Love the lunch special. The price is amazingly low and the pizza is top notch, with a choice of thick or thin crust. What is really noteworthy though is the salad bar: fresh ingredients, lots of variety, great dressings and toppings. Salad bars are not easy to maintain, so I can see that this restaurant is very well run just by the quality of the salad bar. We make it a weekly event to have lunch here. read more

Sausage pizza was bomb!!! Great flavor and nice crispy crust. Nice salad bar!!! I would prefer the mix on the coke was a little sweeter. I eat here Evey time I am in Carpinteria !!! read more

As a 35 year carp/Santa Barbara local... there used to be only ONE place worth ordering GOOD pizza From. 564-1111, you've now been replaced on my speed dial with easy internet access ordering, and PayPal accepting Pizza Man Dan's. Plus ... (CONTROVERSY) ... pizza man Dan's has better ranch dressing. I never thought I'd say that about any place... also, their pizza tastes like pizza. If I wanted a frozen pizza... I'd just buy one and make it myself. Pizza Man Dan's is worth the delivery fee. Their toppings are fresh and their cheese seems to be actual cheese that follows the laws of physics/chemistry when warm. It melts. Pizza Man Dans has replaced the old, trust 564-111. read more

We were camping down the way. We were planning on dinner out but decided to grab a pizza and some other items and go back to the campsite. I remembered that I had no silverware at all and to get some when the pizza was ready. We had a pizza, sandwich and salad. I have a 3 and 5 year old. When I picked up the pizza I asked for silverware and she asked if I was eating there I said I was not. She handed me a knife. I then asked for other items and she handed me one fork. I pointed to my children and asked for two more forks. She seemed very annoyed and I questioned if she was even going to give me any. I knew going back to the campsite one child would want silverware to eat. And of course they both wanted one and it wad helpful having a fork for each child. They fought over the plastic knife. I was embarrassed and felt that I was getting shamed to ask for cutlery to eat food wd had ordered here. We are local and will never eat here again. read more

I initially came here for lunch for their special because my coworker told me they have a good deal for lunch. I've opted to get the sub sandwich combo which came with a drink and salad. The salad bar had some flies flying around, wish they had some sort of net or coverings but oh well. They had a good amount of varietal in the salad bar from artichoke hearts, cucumbers, mushrooms, Etc the sub was okay, I really like how soft and pillowy the dough was, but there is not enough meat to fill me up. I did decide to order again from them for dinner and we ordered two different types of pizza, one regular crust and the other thin crust. Their thin crust is really good, it's almost as if there is no crust at all! The topings go to the edge for the thin crust. The regular pizza crust was thicker but I would say the thin crust is better. The wings were tiny and the suicide sauce is not super spicy (if you can handle jalapeños you can handle the heat). The wings came with one ranch sauce oh, and the ranch sauce is pretty good. Them and the Mesa Pizza have one of the better ranches. I recommend this place for their lunch special and the thin crust pizza! read more

This pizza is AMAZING! It looks appetizing and its cooked perfectly. Sometimes you get pizza and the sauce is sweet or overwhelming. Not this pizza! The sauce is savory and the perfect amount so that it's not overpowering. The crust... OMG!!! They could sell it by itself its soooo good. Next time I'm in the area, this will be dinner, no question about it. The box is PERFECT! LOL!!! Fun and functional! read more

Great pizza!! I appreciated the delivery to the Carpenteria Campground. PizzaMan Dan also made sure to provide plates, napkins and extra sauces for the wings. Will order from here again. read more

I've only had takeout from here a few times, but I've enjoyed the pizzas, calzones, and wings. They're all fine. I had to laugh at the celery though. It was 3 teeny tiny matchsticks wrapped in wax paper. I mean, maybe let's save the wax paper and not even bother with adding celery to the order because seriously, that was laughable. read more

Completely reasonable pizza. Crispy crust, delicious toppings. If you're camping at the near by state beach, get a pizza and bottle of wine from here and enjoy them while watching the sun set into the pacific. read more

Every single time we come to visit Carpinteria, we try to order pizza from this establishment and every single time we are treated with such bad customer service. I will never try to order from here again. Giovanni's pizza down the road has amazing employees with delightful attitudes. read more

It would have been two stars but I tried their chicken nuggets and it was decent so that helped. I'm not going to go into the fried Mac and cheese nuggets because I would hurt myself complaining. I just don't know what to say about the pizza here. It's just not being what it should be. It tasted like parts of the pizza isn't fresh nor made in house. Perhaps most of the items are pre cooked, pre packaged, frozen then constructed. I don't know. Bad pizza shouldn't exist in our era. I was too shocked to take pics. read more

Best pizza in Carp. But low key I enjoy the salad bar. It's old school and rad. Open later than most places here so it's a plus.

terrible food, poorly managed. I don't understand how this place can survive in a small town.

Good spot with good service! Yummy and affordable pizza we walked over from our campsite and was a nice area to walk through!

PizzaMan Dan's in Carpinteria is an amazing location! I always go there for their sub sandwiches, but this time I decided I would go for a classic pepperoni pizza for Pi Day (March 14th). I know there are a lot of pizza places in Carpinteria but PizzaMan Dan's is definitely my favorite place to sit down and eat some good pizza/sandwiches for a good price. Also they always have coupons on their website which are useful! read more

Pizza Man Dan's - Large Pepperoni Pizza (Thin Crust) $14.99 on Pi day (March 14th) - Pizza Near Me - Carpinteria, California

Pizza and salad lunch special hit the spot. Quick and easy option. Friendly staff. A plus with the robot delivering food to the table.

This is a good classic pizza parlor spot without the classic dank. It has a nice large salad bar, beer on tap, and arcade games. I thought the pizza was good, not stellar but pretty good. The place is very bright and has a whole lot of TVs. The televisions were a bit overwhelming for the family. We were there with the kids and half of the 10 large screen televisions surrounding the small room were showing news or several with some stories of abductions. The other half were sports. We did ask to switch the channels to something more kid friendly (since there were no other patrons facing the way we were) and they switched it to more news (more sports would have been preferable or maybe cartoons or something). Anyway, the food was good enough that I would go back, but for take-out next time. read more

This place was more then I had expected. My wife have food allergies. They offered a Gluten Free option, no dairy and with veggies. It was good hot but even better the day after cold. I had the sausage and pepperoni thin, sooooo-good. It was our first time camping at Carpinteria State Beach with friends. We will for-sure make this place a must stop on our next visit. read more

Pizza Dan's is our favorite go to spot when we are visiting Carpenteria. They hve the best pizza bowls around.

Decent not too bad. PiZa was good. Wings were mid fr. Kinda dry and bland but it isn't a wing place yk.

I frequent this restaurant in Carpinteria quite often and most often the service is superb, but on my most recent visit the wait for my order was unusually long, my order was a "to go" order and I was told that the wait would be 11 minutes or so......Well after about 20 minutes I had to leave. When I got home I called to see if my order could be delivered and I guy named Angel answered at the call center and I told him the situation and he was absolutely very rude with his response and hung up on me. I immediately called back and this time a guy named Anthony answered and he was very professional and proceeded to listen to me and remedy the situation. Angel has no business working a job where he engages the the public. He has no customer service skills. read more

Really good pizza and vibes. We always go here when we are in carpinteria and never disappoints. Always great service too.

I always pass by this pizzeria. This week I wanted to give it a try. I ordered a single serving of gluten free pizza and one medium pepperoni and onion pizza. It was obvious that both Pizza doughs were premade or frozen. The crust tasted like a cardboard. The onion was chopped very small, I didn't know they were onions. I give it one star. read more

Pizza was just ok. $30 for a thin crust pepperoni was a little much. Need to remove the $9.99 special pics on Yelp.

loved how this restaurant was so near the beach that was actually open. amazing service and very kind workers. in the back of the kitchen they worked very hard even when they were very busy. and up front there was 2 cashiers. A male around he's 20s and a young lady with black long hair. she looked like she knew what she was doing, was really fast at working she took 2 customers while the other guy took 1 person he had to call many people to help him. but other then that, the pizza was amazing and was very. busy and everyone was saying they enjoyed the fresh salad and pizza, this place 10/10! read more

This pizza was delicious. We ordered a plain cheese and the "pizza man" pizza. Both were delicious. But- even the adults couldn't get enough of the plain cheese- something we've never encountered.
