Crust was also very good and was even better the second day. If ordering Detroit style they ask for extra time but even with that my order was ready in 25 mins on a late Saturday afternoon. They are DRY,barely any sauce, one layer of the most thinnest slices of Eggplant 4 slices to be exact, more cheese then needed for bread ratio, alot of nerve not worth $14. First Detroit style I've ordered since the change in owners and it was the worst pizza I've had in my entire life. In all honesty, it seemed like it was sitting around all day and heated up when we placed the order. Soft yet crunchy, good size slices. The inside of the shop was very clean, and the vibe was chill. Everyone there was super friendly, which makes it even easier for me to give them a good rating. They've become my local go-to pizzeria for a few reasons. Their customer service is excellent. But their pizza is amazing. Fresh, soft, crispy... So, I have had my share of pizzas growing up and Brooklyn and now living in North Jersey. Unfortunately, Pizza Knight is not for me. I know that a lot of people love their pizza, and they are entitled to have their opinion. As for me, the pizza was very sloppy, the sauce and the cheese were runny, which really translates into not that great of an experience. The dough was soggy, and everything was just a big sloppy mess. I don't know if this was a one off, so I will try and give them another chance soon. Pizza was honestly crispy and soft and cooked to perfection. We ordered mozzarella sticks, fries and wings on the side and those were good too. The only thing I have to say is that the wings weren't my fave, more so because I love my wings extra crispy and these were more meaty and less crispy.
