A couple weeks ago, I decided to order takeout for the first time in more than a month of being quarantined. I rarely order take-out ever, as you can see by my Yelp account, and I have not had anything delivered, nor have I shopped for groceries in more than a month. I live alone and I decided that I had earned a night of no cooking. When I arrived at the drive-up window, I was shocked to find that it appeared to be 'business as usual.' When I reached the window after being in a line with a few cars, I was informed that my order wasn't ready. I had to drive around and wait in line again. When I reached the window to get my order, everything was like a normal order and pick-up. The only difference was that I had paid in advance. From the website, I expected a contactless order. They sounded compliant with the new normal, but in actuality it was just like a regular order and pick-up. To start, I order a dinner box from here. Never had issues before and loved this location. I got my order delivered and upon ope ing my food notice the order was incorrect. Ok, no big deal, decided to eat it anyways. Got in two pieces of pizza and then discover a thick long black hair under my cheese!! I called the store and asked for a manager. The guy I spoke to said he was a manager and I informed him what happened and that I would like a refund. He then asked for order number and phone number. He said he couldn't find my order. I said well this is the order number I was given and even gave all the other info for the order. He then said he would find someone that could help me so he obviously wasn't the manager like he stated. Be put the phone down for about 2 minutes then hung up. Here's a quick note of my recent online order... The website showed the restaurant opened at 1130 for takeout orders, I ordered at 1130 (confirmed by NIST, timeanddate.com & Verizon) and was advised the store was not open yet. The website wanted me to place the order for a later pickup. I kept refreshing the page and finally at 1137 the website was ready to accept my order. This is unsat and a waste of my time. Furthermore, I ordered two pizzas. One was good and the other was meh at best. The Meat Lovers with extra sauce was reasonably decent as expected. The Chicken Bacon Parmesan lacked flavor and presence despite ordering extra chicken, extra bacon and extra cheese. The crust on this pie was devoid of flavor likely because salt was omitted. I liked Pizza Hut way better before they came up with this new menu of theirs. Buffalo Chicken stuffed crust was my go-to pizza, but now it's completely different with "drizzle" and I'm pretty sure they've changed the buffalo sauce as well. So disappointing. I've never had a bad experience at this specific location, they're usually pretty friendly at the drive thru window as well, and sometimes they even give my dog a breadstick if he's with me. read more

Promptly after writing this review will I only call Pizza Hut corporate (or email them...) about how I NEED a "Pizza Hut Italian Bistro", like this one on North Main Street in Rochester (while I probably should've said I WANT a location like this, I've come to terms with the fact that Pizza Hut is truly amazing enough to actually NEED it!). While it isn't worth me driving an hour from Massachusetts, this place is like a classic Pizza Hut, NOT like the Pizza Hut locations I've been to in Massachusetts where there are no tables and waitresses are not available. Definitely a step up. Plus, in comparison to one of the other Pizza Huts like this I went to in New York, it's clean, updated and has WingStreet too. They have a salad bar, offer take out and have everything else you'd find at a normal pizza spot. Grace, one of the waitresses at this location (her name tag says Amazing Grace, which is true!) is so friendly, helpful, and interests all of her customers in great deals and great suggestions from their large menu. The menu includes tons of tasty and delicious pizzas in three different types, thin crust, hand tossed, and deep dish. My favorite is hand tossed, and if you purchase two or more, you can get $6.99 medium pizzas from here. More than enough for a lunch or dinner meal. The desserts are also great, especially the Hershey's one. While this may be a chain, fast food like restaurant the Rochester location is by far the cleanest and most organized Pizza Hut I've seen to date! Grace is amazing, and the food is wonderfully delicious and appealing in price. 5 stars for the Rochester Pizza Hut. I will definitely be coming back next year on my next vacation up to Alton. read more

My husband and i went to this Pizza Hut last night. Our daughter had just bought her first house, and we were delivering a kitchen set to suprise her. We drove an hour from our workplaces to get to her new home in Rochester. After a visit we were starving. It was 9:15 and we saw on the door that Pizza Hut stays open until 10. While looking at the menu, the blond woman at the register told us that there was no waitress, so we would have to order to go only. We thought it was strange, since we were giving our order at the register. We were told again that due to lack of a waitress the dining room was closed. We ordered, and sat in the empty dining room to wait for our food, wondering why we couldnt just eat in the dining room. When our food was ready, we had to request plates, napkins, and cutlery. Since we live about 45 minutes away, we had to eat in our vehicle in mid December. While we sat, we watched the staff drive off. Obviously has nothing to do with a lack of wait staff, since the blond woman was the second car to whizz past. Worst service ever! To add insult to injury, the pizza was blah. I'm italian, and from Boston. Calling this lousy chain sauce on a shingle pizza is insulting. I've had better pizza in my old high school cafeteria. This Pizza Hut is ridiculous. always get an attitude when I go in. wait in the hut lane for 10-15 minutes to get it. Because the woman that is working window has an attitude problem. Lay on the horn no one comes to the window. will not be coming back until they learn how to get better people in there. We went in to get the pizza hut buffet, 6 of us. One person wanted to order off the menu. After waiting 20 minutes to order ( after telling the waitress when we arrived ) She finally takes the order. Another 35 minutes go by for an order of Mac& Cheese. My co-worker tells the waitress it needs to be changed to go as we have an hour lunch. The order shows up and is clearly some mac&Cheese off the buffet not made to order. Is missing the bacon that the menu version comes with and no cheese on the bread sticks. When we go up to pay he informs the manager of the problems and that he is not going to pay for this sub-par order or has time to wait. She grabs the bag from his hand and throws the food behind her smashing it into t the wall. " Fine, your all set" was her answer. The Worst service I've ever seen/had. I would honestly give a zero! My son and I used to frequent this specific Pizza Hut due to my husband being away often and the fact that he gets a "book it" pizza every month. The one server there is absolutely atrocious, with her irritating desire to micro parent by telling your child that they can not have pizza until their salad (something i never have a problem with my child eating) is gone or that they shouldn't have chocolate milk but water instead. Far from the scope of her job. I have spoken to management about this particular server and they do not seem to care only ask what it is that I would like them to do about it. You're the manager, figure it out. The last time I was there was the final straw. My niece was in town so we decided to go for a bite and our pizza was brought with not one but 2 black hairs on it. Myself, my son, and my niece are all blonde however low and behold "super waitress" has long black hair. I can't help but speculate that the hair did not get there on purpose. We were offered another pizza or a discount on our bill. WHY would I accept another pizza?!?! The pizza is no different than any other Pizza Hut, although something that stops me from being a returning customer is the fact that they don't deliver to my house, but the Dominos across the street from them will. Pizza Hut definitely gives a bigger variety than Dominos so I would like to be able to order delivery from here, sadly I cannot, and why that is I don't understand. read more

Pizza Hut's pan pizza is distinctive and yummy, so I jumped at the chance to partake since there isn't one near me. The service was fast, efficient and polite, everything was clean, and the pizza was delicious. I got the salad bar and a medium specialty pizza for $14 on a Friday night. It hit the spot. read more
