Went on the 10th right before closing. Absolutely filthy. We walked in and were greeted with the exercise of shallow wading through the layer of customer discarded receipts all over the floor that a worker hadn't bothered to sweep up. The service was just as bad. The cashier finally reached the counter after a good wait. He asked your order then proceeded to sing loud and high pitched some random song that none of our eardrums required nor desired. We were treated to this after each order request - no "I'll get that for you" or other acknowledgment just start singing to himself and walk-off leaving folks to assume he was preparing or getting their order. We got the pizza home and, one slice in - just as one was about to take a bite - discovered hair baked in the pizza on the next slice. We all just backed up and threw it away. Never again. read more

Wishing I could give this 0 stars. From what I saw and experienced I don't understand how someone could have this store the way it was. First of all it's dirty, hot and they have a mess from what you can see in the back. Second of all they don't have the orders ready. It took about 45 minutes total for it to be ready. 45 minutes is excessive for pizza that's made from frozen pizza dough... yup. You read that right, frozen pizza dough opened from the package. It's no wonder the other Yelp review mentioned it tasted like Old Pizza. Most sad thing of all is how the manager treated not only his employee trying to blame her for "lack of communication" but having an inappropriate argument with an uber driver who apparently waited for it to be ready and they didn't have it. Getting to the point of blaming the uber driver for accepting the order and working for uber in the first place. The professionalism is terrible and no one should treat others in this manner. My husband placed an online order for delivery. The estimated time was 30 minutes. After 30 minutes of no updates and trying to refresh the tracker it still said in preparation with the same delivery time, which had clearly passed at that point. We tried calling multiple times and got a call center to then be directed to the store which never answered the phone. My husband went to the store and our order had just been sitting while all the workers were all sitting scrolling on their phones. Called in my order and had to explain to the young man (everyone working here was a teenager) on the phone literally 4x that I had a coupon that was mailed to me. He didn't seem to understand and needed to have a manager help. I don't understand why corporate is mailing out coupons to local customers but not informing the stores about it. I told him that the coupon offer is for (2) large one-topping pizzas and 5 breadsticks, and he tried to end the call before even asking what the toppings were. Then when I clarified it I wanted one as pepperoni, and one as sausage, he asked, "Italian sausage?" Do you all offer another type of sausage and I'm just not aware of it? When I walked in to pick up my food the young lady had an attitude but couldn't bother speaking with any volume and got annoyed when I kept asking her to repeat herself, and again when I reminded her at the end they forgot my breadsticks. Indicated multiple times I wanted regular crust, only to get home and discover I've been given thin crust pizza. Cold Breadsticks, cold marinara. Just a completely trash experience, the only thing they got right was the toppings and even those weren't even spread evenly on the pizza. All the sausage in the middle, huge gap around the edge of the pizza where there's no toppings. If you have access to recordings of the calls, please check the log for 4:32 p.m. EST, A call that was 3 minutes and 46 seconds in length. See just how ineffective your employees are, how poorly trained, and how little they know about the job they're supposed to be doing. They literally couldn't even cut the pizza into equal slices. Had i checked the yelp of this place previously I would've known what to expect -- that's on me for expecting Pizza Hut to pay a wage high enough to make employees give a shit about their job. Yelp I ordered through the app and it said 15 minutes So I just came in 20 minutes just to give them five minutes of wiggle room. When I went up to pick up my order he said they were taking it out the oven and to give them a minute (it was Mozzarella sticks by the way). There was one girl already waiting and One girl walked in after me and placed an order. After 10 minutes my order still was not there a gentleman walked in and he was there to pick up and his order wasn't ready. So then eventually he got his order and then the girl who was there when I arrive got her order AND THEN The girl who came in after me and placed her order got her ordered. I was thinking "How in the world did she get her order before mine?" Then add another 10 minutes to my wait time and then I guess the guy at the front realize I've been sitting there for a really long time. Did he ask again what did I order and I told him. He came out swinging with the box and wish me a good day. When I got to my car the sticks were lukewarm at best. There is no way on God's green earth those things just came out the oven (Come on man! I like to sneak one before I get home). So either A) hHe forgot I was there B) He forgot to put the order in and put it in late and then still forgot about it or C) He just didn't care. I called over the phone to place a delivery order. Fermi answered the phone with dryness and proceeded to take my order in the same way. After giving her my card number 2x she insisted that my card was not going through. On the third attempt, she finally asked for the 3-digit numbers on the back of the card and the zipcode. Why was that not asked on the first and second attempt when I was told that my card was pronounced declined? When she asked for this information, she said okay and proceeded to tell me the order would be ready in an hour. No apologies for any mistake but basically it is what it is. Around 10 AM today, Valentines Day, I placed an online order with Pizza Hut to be delivered around 4 PM. On their website, under Deals, they advertise two options: The Bundle; which is a heart-shaped pizza with a choice of either a large chocolate chip cookie or a brownie; the second choice is the heart-shaped pizza only. This is the closest pizza hut to my house. As a child, pizza hut was my favorite pizza location, but now there are so many local chain options that are better in my opinion. So usually, I only order from pizza hut when have a coupon or there's a huge sale going on. I would say that they give decent service, but you have to make sure that you have everything that you ordered before you leave because they definitely don't. Food: average. I feel like pizza hut quality went down overall, or maybe my taste for pizza went up? Either way it's decent and does the job. Service: Every time I order from here, I usually have to tell them that they forgot to give me something that I ordered. Once I make note of that to them, they don't hesitate to fix it. Usually there is never a problem, but today this location lost me as a customer. I placed an order online at noon. About twenty minutes later I missed a call from them. I immediately called the number back, and of course no one picks up the phone. I spent the next 20 minutes of my time trying to get someone on the line and of course....this was a fail! Almost an hour later I manage to get someone on the line who instructs me that my order was canceled because they called me to verify the order and I did not answer. I explained that I immediately called back after missing the call and no one answered. Her response was hanging up on me. I now find myself on Yelp typing my review in hopes that it will be read by management or someone who can make a difference. I arrive to get my order and the manager is smoking a cigarette directly in front of the entrance. Walked into the restaurant and every single worker looked under the influence. I love me some Pizza Hut but this is one of worst that I've ever patronized. The first time I did business I ordered online for delivery. Took almost an hour and a half for me to get my pizza. To my disbelief, the young man opens the box to show my pizza made incorrectly yet again. I check my receipt to make sure I ordered properly (I did) and ask him about it. He just has this lost look on his face like there is nothing he can do. If I wasn't hungry and had already paid I would've left it there. For the past 17 tears I have been frequent at this location. Most of the time I have no complaints. When I order online my pizza is normally ready at the stated time. They never hire anybody that can answer the phone and speak clear concise understandable English. I really can't stand that. In light of the COVID-19 situation, it would've been more ideal to have customers calling their orders and once they called in their order have them text the restaurant that they have arrived. Once the pizza was ready they could call the customer and have them come out of their car and into the restaurant to pick up. Last night there was absolutely No physical distance thing inside the pick up area. At times there were up to 8 to 10 people standing inside. And if you stood outside you risked the chance of them not seeing you or you not hearing them call your name. It was ridiculous and it could be handled better. Restaurants are doing it better all over the place. But this place is so lazy and so money- focused that they don't care about anything else but the dollar. I usually go to the one in Bowie but that one was closed but this will be THE last time I go to in this Pizza Hut. No matter the situation, it is NEVER ever a smooth, efficient, friendly experience.
