Gluten free options!!…read more We are so thankful Giovanni's offers gluten-free options! My mother-in-law has celiac disease, and we were literally seconds away from going somewhere else because we didn't realize there were gluten-free choices. I would highly encourage adding that information to your menu or advertising it more prominently. There are so many people who struggle to find safe, satisfying meals, and there's only so many salads a girl can eat! Now for the food... wow! The cheesy garlic bread with olive oil is absolutely to die for. The Pasta Trio was delicious, but the lasagna completely stole the show for me. It was so good that it's what I ordered the second time we came back! We had a party of eight, and every single person loved their meal. Great food, generous portions, and something everyone enjoyed. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be recommending Giovanni's to anyone looking for amazing Italian food. Especially those needing gluten-free options!

He took time going over the menu with us, making recommendations and checking back at all the right moments. My Grey Goose martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives were chilled perfectly. The rosemary bread was amazing! It didn't even need any of the butter and sauce that was served along with it. Nathan said the Serpente was a great vegetarian option. I decided to add lump crab meat on top. OHHH my gosh!! So amazing!! The ricotta was super creamy and the crab meat was a perfect match for this entree. The restaurant was elegant and had a romantic like setting. It was clean, quiet and the restrooms were probably the nicest I have ever been in. I loved the dark marble and decor. If you're looking for a wonderful dinner experience for a special night out, I highly recommend 61 Osteria.

Overall Exceptional Food & Incredible Leftovers! The food was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. To start, the calamari was cooked perfectly, but the absolute highlight was the brilliant addition of fried olives mixed in. It added the perfect briny, savory crunch that took the dish to a whole new level such a creative and delicious touch! For the main course, the pasta was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The true testament to how great it was? I took the leftovers home, and it tasted just as amazing the next day for lunch. You know the food is high quality when it holds up perfectly as leftovers. Great flavors, thoughtful details, and food that keeps on giving. I'll definitely be back! Just please acknowledge if a guest is celebrating something special.

It wasn't great, but it was good. A disappointing part was that you pretty much have to valet your car. It's $20 if you're not eating there or in the hotel, and it's $10 if you are eating in the restaurant. That does not include your tip. It was restaurant week, so we thought we would give Emily a shot. What we found was that, because I wanted the sea bass, if we ordered off the menu instead of the restaurant week special, we would save about $20. That doesn't make sense.

This year was the classic tiramisu again and somehow I still wasn't prepared for how good it is. I ended up eating nearly half the cake myself. If you know tiramisu, you'll appreciate this one. The sponge is very soaked like super rich, espresso-forward, and honestly feels like drinking a glass of coffee in dessert form. I personally love that deep, juicy texture, but if you're someone who prefers a lighter, less saturated sponge, this might be a bit much for you. That said, it's absolutely worth trying. Just maybe start with a smaller size at the restaurant before committing to a full cake. This is exactly the kind of tiramisu I crave, and it's the reason Emilia's keeps being the birthday cake spot every year.

One of the best meals I've had all year, this is a Tarrant County gem. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - On my Saturday visit, Acquario Italian Restaurant was busy and full of energy. Acquario has a very upscale feel, with dim lighting, heavy white tablecloths, and lots of pretty people. You can make a reservation on Open Table. 1 Star. Service - Our server was exceptional. He made many recommendations and didn't need to write down our order. He checked in several times, and a manager even stopped by asking us how things were. Our table settings were cleared after each course, and the entire time we felt like we were at a fine dining establishment (because we were). 1 Star. Food - We began with several starters, but the two most outstanding were the Octopus Ceviche and the Grilled Octopus. The Ceviche was light and fresh, and the Grilled Octopus was tender with a smoky char. The presentation was outstanding. For my main, I chose the Ravioli Tartufo. I discovered this rich, savory, truffled infused cheese at one of my favorite soufflé spots in Dallas, so when I saw Acquario had a ravioli version, I ordered it. It easily exceeded my expectations, the creamy Tartufo cheese sauce was smooth, velvety, and creamy. And none was spared, as it made an excellent dipping sauce for the house made Italian bread. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes.... I hope. Keller is pretty far for me, and there are many delicious Italian restaurants in Dallas. But wow, Acquario Italian Restaurant has permanently made its mark on me, and I will be looking for an excuse to return (or hope they open a second location in Dallas County). 1 Star.

Wait staff dressed uniformly. Dining area divided into sections, so we sat in a cozy intimate "corner" with a few other tables. Wait staff: Clean, neat and friendly. Our server was a WONDERFUL young lady named Jasmine. Very attentive, almost "intuitive", but not too intrusive. Perfect service. Food: Bread was nice, in house made garlic rolls with a light pretzel salt on top. I had Chicken Parmigiana, on a bed of thin spaghetti. My wife had the Lasagna. Portions were very generous. (I'm Cajun, so a "portion" to me usually feeds two. I was full and happy.) Chicken was fresh, hot, perfect breading. Marinara sauce tasted like homemade sauce, with a perfect amount and blend of Italian herbs. I had my wife's leftover lasagna for supper. (She loved it, but there was a lot.) It was every bit as good as my entree. I'm guessing that was ground veal. Wonderful! A gentleman I assume was the owner/manager came around to personally make sure the dining experience was good. Price was well in line with other sit down restaurants. (About $37 for both, and got 3 meals out of it.) Overall experience: I'd give it a 9.5, only because I don't give 10's. (Unless you feed me by hand, and wash and wax my car. HA!) We will *DEFINITELY* go back. (OK. I admit. That means I'll be harassing my wife to go back sometime this week. But, it really was GREAT!

I only removed one star because my husband was told the Limone E Spinaci was better than Alfredo, which is the type of meal he wanted, but he disagreed. He thought it was just okay. I said it was excellent, but that's probably because I'm lactose intolerant and can't have cheese like him. I was excited just at the fact of trying a forkful of his meal.

The restaurant is small and cozy. Twice we could not get in without a long wait. Other times we made reservations and did not need them. Best to be safe and call. They are Chicken Sunrise, and Veal Genovese, both come with pasta and the sauce on the meals are wonderful. Since we like these two dishes so much it is hard to try anything else. Bread rolls also come with the meal. Salad is extra, I had the Caesar salad. Started with an appetizer Escargot Provencal.... oh man this is good. Dip your bread into the garlic butter yum. The plates have plenty of food you will be full or take-home leftover. Nice glass of wine is good with the meal. Service was good once they were terribly busy, so the food came out slowly.
