A huge pool of dirty water around the salad bar with food in it that had been there for hours. All they did was slap a caution sign there instead of cleaning it up when I asked the checkout person why they didn't clean it up they told me they didn't have time.. There was only two people in the place for 45 minutes. Nothing but young kids fooling around in the kitchen and playing and screaming, but they didn't have time to clean it up. Stopped by for lunch and was pleasantly greated by a very nice waitress. We ordered an order of cheesesticks that were pillow soft and cheesy so delicious with their marinara sauce. Then we ordered the new Yorker pepperoni pizza that was delicious. Restraunt was clean and a very pleasant experience. I ordered a large stuffed crust pizza to-go. I arrived a few minutes early that the time they gave me. I waited by the register for a few moments without anyone noticing I was there, which I don't mind having to wait at all. The problem was while I was waiting I saw the young "man" making my pizza was vaping and blowing it all over my pizza. I was disgusted but decided to pay for my pizza as to not cause an issue since I was the only customer there with 3 young "adults" and call the next day to talk to the Manager. I called today and was told the Manager was not in, however, I could speak with the shift leader. I specified what happened and he did not seem concerned at all. I told him I wanted a refund and for the employee to be spoken with, as it is illegal to vape in the same areas as it is illegal to smoke in Maine. I am totally disgusted. I do not regularly go to Pizza Hut, but wanted a change. I will probably never visit this restaurant again and instead decide to go to one of the other better pizza places in Ellsworth. read more

Holy cow this pizza was bad. I ordered the new Detroit style pizza and it was expected to arrive at 6:50PM. Pizza shows up at 7:30PM and is ICE cold and INSANELY undercooked. Waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas. What else is there to say. This is simply ridiculous. When I raised concern I was met with "well there was a 90 minute wait time when you walked in". I was never even told that by the wait staff or the manager upon arrival. Am I suppose to be telepathic? Or do they just want me to do their job for them. It seems like for the most part the manager doesn't care about their customers. It literally took me screaming at them to get them to even comp my meal which I did in fact actually wait for. Do yourself a favor and visit one of the other locally run pizza joints in town. You'll be much better off. Don't let the nice new decor fool you, this place needs a major overhaul from management down. My family of four went there tonight, I have always loved the salad bar and that was the deciding factor. We ordered a medium pizza and two personal pizzas and salad bar. Almost everything at the salad bar was wilted and browning and I wouldn't touch the pasta salads with a 10 foot pole. All of the dressings were mislabeled. This was the reason we came and it sucked. We watched four tables get up and walk out after their long wait. We received almost all our food after about 50 minutes, missing one of the personal pizzas. The kids ended up sharing the one pizza and we all ate on paper towels because no plates were provided. Our server kept telling us the other pizza was coming. After another 40 minutes I had to go up to the counter to pay, still no pizza, and as I was paying the pizza came out, I told them I didn't even want it as it was already comped. There are too many other fabulous choices in town to waste my time and money here. read more

Everyone at my house is allergic to red pizza sauce, their reaction, drive back 20 min back into town and wait another 45 or more to get my order again. They are giving me a $30 credit. My mother and I came here as a quick, short lunch. The place was super empty, so I thought service would be fast and we would get what we were hoping for. No. We ordered a stuffed crust pizza with extra cheese and pepperoni, because they had a special, where you could get a large, stuffed crust, 1 topping pizza for 9.99, and we asked if we could add extra cheese for 1.99 without messing up the price for the 1 topping. Our waitress said we could. At this time there were 3 other people there. One was almost done eating. One had placed a to-go order, and the other had just placed a normal order. (this will be important later) We waited for 35 minutes for our pizza to come. With no check ups or reminders that our pizza was cooking the entire time. Once we finally got it, there was barely any cheese, and one or two pepperonis on each slice. The cheese in the crust tasted like rubber cheese sticks you'd find in school lunches. But that's not all, the people in front of us, who ordered the normal meal, didn't get what she ordered, and not a topping or two missing, an entire different meal. And the waitress had a super bad attitude about it, replying to everything they said with "yep" Once we went to the counter to pay for our meal, the people who ordered a to go order earlier, were still waiting for their pizza. We ended up not paying for the extra cheese because they didn't put it on there. Overall I'm pretty disappointed by both the service and the food. Would DEFINITELY not recommend wasting any time nor money on this place. read more

I never eat in here usually because me and my partner are always exhausted at the end of the day when we go here. I am always excited to get the dinner box, it's super filling and has an amazing price!! ($10) I tried calling in earlier this week and I was on the line for over 5 minutes waiting for someone to pick up until we gave up and just went to Burger King. Very dirty! There was food and trash all over the floor and tables. We over herd a couple behind us talking to their waitress that there was hair on their pizza. My cup I was given was broken and leaking out the side. Then when we got our pizza the crust was regular when we ordered flavored and I asked the waitress to replace my cups and get us plates she brought my cup but no plates so we ate off the paper towels. I asked for the manager n told him he gave me $3 off our pizza. I think I'll find pizza else where next time. read more

We stopped into Pizza Hut, Ellsworth, Me yesterday, July 5, 2017, at 12:30Pm for lunch. We decided on the buffet. There were 4 in our party. We all went to the pizza table, and there were no fresh pieces of pizza there, and what was there totaled less than a full one. We were told that more would be out soon. Having lost out on the pizza, we decided to head for the salad bar. The lettuce was down to the bottom of the tray. The tray outside the salad bar was a mess. We go to the Waterville, Me Pizza Hut frequently, and there is no comparison. By the time we were ready to leave, they finally restocked the pizza. It was about 1:10Pm. If you are doing an everyday pizza/salad buffet from 11;30 until 1:30PM, I would at least try, if I were the manager, to keep things clean and stocked. Neither was done here. Save your money at this restaurant and go a couple doors down to Governors. Would get more for your money. Overall, I'll never eat here again when in Ellsworth., Me. read more

Ordered takeout online. Two medium pizzas, one was buffalo chicken and one BBQ chicken. When I went to pick up my order I also added a salad. I paid and the guy, and he handed me my pizza and container for the salad. I said "Oh is there blue cheese for the buffalo pizza?". His reply was "that's actually .59 cents for dressing". What?? As I told him, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What kind of restaurant doesn't give dressing with a buffalo chicken pizza?! I ask when that had changed because every other time I've ordered a buffalo chicken pizza I have been given a dressing to go along with it, and never been charged for it. His reply was "it's always been like that". Actually, no it hasn't. But that is besides the point. I know it's not the employees fault, but Stupid. Well our waitress was really nice and very helpful but there is where the good part ended. I went to the ladies room and it was very dirty. The food wasnt very good and then when my husband went up to pay (had to have change for a tip) I saw the guy who had been making the pizzas all night step up to the register ring him up cough in his hand and then got back to making pizzas (without washing his hands) I felt sooo sick by the time I left.
