I ordered a cheese, pepperoni and a ham for the guys. The crust is crunchy with a nice and soft inside. Really unsure how they're able to achieve such a perfectly crispy crust with the soft inside of a deep dish pizza. But it's not deep dish. Nor is it thin crust. It's really in a class of its own. Once again Yannis hit the spot when visiting! We did try ordering online but after a while of looking at the menu and thinking we were no longer able to order online - unsure if it cuts off at a certain time. But we called it in and it was hot and delicious when we picked it up and took it home. Picked up five large pizzas last night to feed 12 of us. All different toppings and all VERY good. And all at a reasonable price.

It is not my fault or business nor do i care if your employee work 4 jobs and bakes for the coop. When a customer (especially a new one) enters an establishment/ restuarant to order food and was 100 % gaslighted by an employee will be acceptable. By the time we got pushed out the door with a 10 minute pizza and no thank you! Rather we got a story about how everythings shut off and already put away and never at any point was told the tables and dining area was closed because ..... thats right! Shes tired and works 4 jobs and bakes for the coop. I brought my kids to sit and eat pizza, even 10 minutes should be suitable. The pizza was hot but thrown together and tasteless. No Thank You Yanni! There were no signs , warnings or information on any of the walls, menus, social media or website. Instead, an overworked, selfish, and quite ignorant women that believes gaslighting a customer is acceptable so she can leave when she wants on her terms at the expense of the customer and thier kids time and feelling. Instead we got to eat a 10 minute pizza thrown together and pushed out the door to eat in the car in your parking lot? Absolutely Not going to happen. First thing will be a conversation with the owner, followed by an apology for being gaslighted and treated like an asshole! And we expect something in return because this definately is a repeated behavior. Im posting this complaint on here, Facebook, Google, Instagram and the Weekly Packet. I don't want an explenation, a refund, or a complimentary. I want to be treated with respect like a customer should be and not pushed around and manipulated by some burned out overworked and rude women that has no right doing soo. This is good. It's not pizza, it's downcast maine pizza which is a different criteria of pizza, like.greasy soft full of toppings falling on you fruitful pizza. The pizza at Yannis is delicious!! The best we have had in a long time!! We had a large pizza half cheese and half pepperoni! Delicious!! The crust is out of this world!! The sauce was superb! Yannis Pizza: One of the major staples of Blue Hill, Maine. Yannis Pizza is very Lowkey and a good price for good food. A nice pick up, but not a good place to sit down. Though they have seats, there's hardly ever anyone sitting there and it isn't very homie. This place is a delicious break from making dinner. I recommend this for quick lunch, dinner and snacks. Visited Yannis for the second time today and tried the pizza for the first time. Last time we had a good experience with their sandwiches. The pizza might be the best in Downeast Maine that I have tried. Rosalies in Bar Harbor is good too but this is right there with them and Yannis is a year round business so bonus points for that. Easily better than anything I have tried in Ellsworth (Pats, Finnellis, Angelos, DragonFire). I look forward to going back and would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for fantastic pizza or a well made sandwich. Prices are great too. 6 of us ate today including drinks for $40. That was 3 pizzas, a steak and cheese sub that my daughter said was better than we make at home (which are pretty good) and a salad plus the 6 drinks. I think you would be hard pressed to beat that deal anywhere with the high quality of the food. read more

Owner Manoli really really cares about making the customers happy. Yay Manoli. He also loads the toppings on, which is awesome because a lot of places skimp way too hard. Whenever I visit Blue Hill I have to go to Yannis Pizza. They make the best bbq pizza and greek pizza. I also love their buffalo fingers. It's a take out place, but there are some tables in there if you want to sit and eat. read more
