For a fast-food place, that wait was quite long, and my knees don't care much for standing around these days. When the food finally came, it was... fine, I suppose. The burger was warm enough and the fries were there, but nothing made me want to write home about it. Just plain, ordinary food--nothing terrible, but nothing special either. All in all, Jack's is adequate. It filled my belly, but between the long wait and the so-so food, I can't give it more than three stars.

Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside -- just the way I like it. And don't even get me started on that Zax Sauce... I could drink it with a straw if people wouldn't stare! The place was spotless, and our food came out piping hot and fast. Zaxby's has become one of our favorite little spots. Darrell says it's the only place where he'll eat a salad -- though I think it's just because they pile it high with that good chicken. Either way, we'll be back soon!

Friday, April 14th 2026, approximately 0930. Went through the drive through to order an unsweet…read moretea. Cashier at window 1, took my payment, then immediately walked away without giving me a receipt. I tried to get her attention, but she walked around the corner, so I tapped on the window to get her attention. When she finally returned, and I asked for my receipt, she proceed to lecture me about tapping on the glass. I asked her how I was supposed to get her attention if she was no where in sight. She told me to honk my horn and that my receipt would be available at the next window. She also failed to resolve the simple problem, but attempted to escalate the problem she created. When I got to the next window, the woman (whom I assumed was a manager) told me that she didn't have my receipt and that the whole store didn't have any receipt paper. The girl from window 1 was now at window 2 and knew she gave me the wrong information. The pale skinned woman working at the second window was also covered in hickeys (neck and chest) which gave off a very unprofessional impression. I'm not sure it is legal to operate an establishment without the ability to provide a receipt for payment. The staff needs a lot of training on customer service and business management.

This particular Taco Bell location is not far off of Interstate 65 and is in the same shopping plaza as the Publix. I came in here for a little late night snack. I have seen in multiple locations that Taco Bell has gone to self ordering kiosks. Not a deal breaker, but definitely a sign of the times. Taco Bell has a cool enough vibe and my food came out pretty fast. No complaints at this location. I would recommend this particular Taco Bell if you are looking for a quick fast food meal.
